Wisdom

Are many words
Spoken from many people,
Many Times,

As wise

As few words
Spoken only once,
By one person?

They are

For if one is sure
That their words
Are great.

They are

The group is weak
They do not think
On their own.

The Group

Unwise are they
For they
Do not understand

That Wisdom

Is inside
If you are weak
You are not wise

You must

Be strong
To be wise and,
To survive life

I like this, although the rhythm took a bit to get used to. Then again my mind has been in haiku land for a while, so I was trying to figure out if it was a haiku, or just free-verse. I figured it out though, and I did enjoy this poem.

thank you. When I write in free verse I try to stick to couplets and quatrains but this one just kind of wrote itself.
