Mostly, I'm talking about my pencil eyeliner. It doesn't run but it does start to fade throughout the day. I like it really dark too. Other things I've used either runs, or feels like it stains if it smudges.
I hate experimenting on my own because I ended up regretting it. Mostly because I just choose something while I'm there. So I guess, maybe if would be better if you guys told me what kind you guys use.
Right now, I use:
Pencil eyeliner - Maybelline Expert Eyes
Liquid eyeliner - Maybelline Ultra Liner
Oh, and about the sex makeup thing, this just came up because I guess my eyes water or I close them too tight or something therefore fades. I wanna make it last. Lol

I use this eyeliner with with this brush it's not super opaque the first swipe but it's easy to build up the color to SUPER dark, I like to pat a little tiny bit of my blackest shadow on top to keep it from smudging though it's not to bad with out it as long as you give it a second to dry like you would with a liquid liner.

Oh btw, do you use an eye primer? They are mostly to keep eye shadow on and from creasing, but it helps longevity to...though if all you were wearing was pencil you might have to do just a real thin line of it, or else you could see it and it might look kind weird if it didn't match your skin tone

I don't have a problem with smudging with my liquid, it's mostly just my stupid pencil on the bottom of my eye.
O: I don't but I should. That's genius! I mostly use pencil on the inside top and lower waterlines since I don't like putting liquid there.
