I think I need to smooth it out more, and add more details to the orbs, and black flag thingies. What's bugging me is the grey flames in the sign, I don't know if they should go or not.

It feel's like there's something wrong with this, but I can't put my finger on it.

Any suggestions? confused

I agree with smoothing things out a bit and maybe adding more detail to the orbs. I think the problem with it, other than what you have specified, is that the grey flames blend/clash with the text color so it makes it kinda distracting and busy. I think you should change the colors up a little bit, make the text the focal point and let everything else blend in and fall into the background a bit but still be noticeable. Does that make sense? sweatdrop
