"Roku, I don't know if I can do this..," whimpered Ren to himself as he held the invisible hand tightly in his own. He stared warily out at the full courtyard of his new school. It'll be fine, Baby. I promise. I'm gonna go look around so I can help you around the school, okay? I'll find you in ten minutes. He gave him a quick kiss on the cheek then left. Ren trembled more as he gripped his bookbag tightly in his hand.
"I don't wanna be alone on my first day..," the boy with bright red hair called quietly, looking around at all of the people surrounding him. There were so many people here... He didn't know if he could trust a single one of them. They were all giving him looks and judging him. Damn, he really wished Roku wouldn't have run off from him. He was really scared of big crowds especially if he was alone and the center of attention. He kept his eyes to the floor, occassionally glancing up to make sure he wouldn't run into anything. He held his messenger bag's strap tightly in his hands, knuckles turning white from the grip he had on it. He really wished he knew where Roku went... he chewed on his lip, feeling the metal from his spiderbites scraping against his teeth. He needed to find the office. Where was the front office? He looked around helplessly, trying to figure out which door to go through as he continued walking. "Uhh... I guess...the big d-- Aah!" He screamed as he bumped into someone and stumbled backwards, closing his eyes shut tight. "Don't hurt me! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'll watch where I'm going next time! I promise! You won't see me again!" His body was trembling now. He didn't want to make enemies on the first day...

 "Damn right you wont," Drew said as he looked down out the kid sprawled out on the floor. "Now get the hell outta my way." Drew stepped over Ren and continued toward the cafeteria.The tall, muscular teen that the timid boy had run into jerked around and glared at the redhead who was now sitting on the grass. "Damn ******** right you won't," he growled out before stepping clear over the frightened twerp and carrying on his way. He had some kids to kick out of their seat so he could eat his fruit cup and cheesey bread.

 Julie watched as Drew hit the new kid and stepped over. She furrowed her brow and walked over. "Hi." she calmy said with a smile on her face. ""Need any help?" she held out her hand and offered up a big of a smile as she could.

Ren cowered on the ground, whimpering and trembling as he was stepped completely over without a second thought. Tears had sprung to his eyes as he began to get back up. Flinching as he heard another voice, he looked up a few seconds later when he realized this voice was sweeter than the other's. He nodded gratefully and took her hand, allowing her to help him up. "Th-Thank you..," he said quietly, adjusting his bag awkwardly on his shoulder. He looked up at her with a timid smile. "U-Uhm...you...wouldn't mind showing me wh-where the front office is...would you?" he asked her shyly, looking down at his shoes once again.

"Sure" Julie said gleefully. She then began to lead Ren through a maze of people toward a set of double doors. "Here it is." she said as she began to walk away, no need in trying to make further conversation with the guy. Julie thought that he seemed a little odd. Julie strolled around the campus untill she found her way to the cafeteria. Once inside, she easily located Drew sitting at his normal table. She snuck up on him from behind and kissed him on the cheek. "Why do you have to be so mean to people?" she said in a happy voice. "Because he ran into me!" Drew exclaimed in a playful voice. "Why do you have to be so nice to people? Its not natural."

"Th-Thank you..," Ren said softly to the retreating back. He frowned a bit and headed inside. "U-Uhm..," he said awkwardly as he walked up to the front desk. "I-I just transferred here...from another school... I-I don't have my schedule or--" "Oh, honey, gimme a minute. I'll call in your senior escort," she told him in a rushed but kind voice. He smiled weakly and nodded, sitting down in one of the seats across the room and waiting patiently.

 Michael walked into the office with an angry look on his face. Every Monday and Thursday he had office duties for half the day. Nothing he hated more than having to tend to the idiots who run the school. "Okay," he nonchalantly said to the lady behind the desk "youve got me here early, now what do you want?" She handed him a packet of papers and then notioned toward the cute shy looking red head seated on the other side of the room. Michael then tossed his books over the desk, and made his way toward the boy. Michael thought he was awfully cute but diddn't care much to get to know him. Probably wasn't even gay. Not that Michael could even go for him. He was typically the girl. "Cmon." he said to the boy with an annoyed tone. Nothing he hated more.

Ren watched as a (very good-looking) brunette walked up to the office and exchanged words with the kind woman at the desk he talked to just a few moments ago. Then he visibly flinched as the teen turned around and practically glared holes through him. "R-Roku, I n-need you..," he whimpered quietly to himself as the boy walked up to him. He flinched slightly again as the teen growled out his words. "O-Okay..," he stuttered, gripping his bag's strap tightly once again. He stood up, body trembling slightly once again. He didn't say much of anything as he followed the boy not too close, for fear of him getting angry about taking up his space.
Before they could make it halfway down the first hallway, a squeal echoed through the angered and awkward silence between the two. "Mikey!" was yelled, clomping footsteps from platform shoes going along with it. Suddenly, a bright flash of colour swooped in and tackled Ren's excort to the ground. A giggle was heard before the being stood and helped Michael up as well. Ren couldn't stop his eyes from widening. The girl was so...colourful. He had never seen someone so outlandish, and he was intrigued. A brightly-coloured mess of hair, brightly-coloured mini-skirt and fishnet, and brightly-coloured accessories... "Wow..," he breathed unconsciously. This caused the chattering girl to turn her head to look at him.

 XXXXXX☼XXArlene "Psyber" Marianth"Mikey! Do you like my new boots? They just came in the mail yesterday, and they're absolutely perfect for my outfit, no? Oh, I'm so happy they finally came! I had started to worry because it had been a while since I ordered them, but I am so ******** ecstatic now! Aah! I mean, they're, like, the same colour blue that's on my shirt and fishnet and-- Oh! Who is this?" she chattered on cheerfully, fake-lashed eyes turning to the newcomer. "Oh my God! Is your hair real?! That colour is amazing! I've never seen a red so perfect other than on a wig! Are you a model or something?!" she bombarded him, throwing him off-guard. "U-Uhm...u-uh...I-I dyed it..," he stuttered out hopelessly. "And your eyes! Don't you tell me that is your real colour! You have got to be wearing contacts or some s**t! Augh! You're amazing!" she squealed some more, trotting over and flinging herself on the poor shy redhead in a tight embrace. Ren went completely stiff, not knowing what to do. His whole face and neck were bright red as well as his ears. He was so awkward at times like these... Michael began to lead Ren around the confusing campus following his class schedule untill finnaly stopping outside the busy cafeteria. "This is where you go to fatten up." he said with a grim smile."Thats pretty much it, and we have 20 minutes left. A new record." Michael laughed a little and looked back down at his watch.After walking around with Ren for the past 10 minutes Michael started to realize how cute he was. At first glance he wasnt much to look at but if you really took a good look... he was hot. He opened his mouth to say something else but he was interupted by a shrill pitchy voice. He loved Psyber and all, but sometimes she was just alot to handle. "I love them." he calmly said before she jumped onto Ren. "Oh cmon, don't molest him." Michael said as he grabbed picked Psyber up trying to make her let go of Ren. He's mine!!!

Ren looked at Michael thankfully as the other pulled the girl off of him. His body relaxed only slightly then. Ren-- Oh... Who're your friends? asked Roku as he glided up to him and took the redhead's hand. Ren gladly swueezed his hand, relaxing further. "U-Um... M-My name's Ren...if you wanted to know..," he said softly, looking at them timidly. He cringed at yet another squeal.
"You are just too adorable!" squealed Psyber once again with a giggle. "I'm sorry, I just get so excited around new people!" she said in a happy voice, wiggling free of Michael's grasp. She jutted her hand out to him with a sweet grin. "My name's Arlene! You can call me Psyber if you want! That's what Mikey calls me!" Ren smiled a little and nodded, shaking his hand. "Uhm...what about... Arley? Or...Olley? Can I call you that?" he asked cautiously. He really wasn't the best in social situations...

Ren blushed once more, and got darker when he heard Roku chuckling behind him. When she released him, she shoved Michael in front of her, wrapping her arms around his chest and snuggling into his shoulder. "You can sit with us at lunch today, if you want!" she invited, eyes shining. "O-Okay..," he replied, smile widening. "Isn't he so cute, Mikey?!" she asked with another giggle. "Oh! Lemme see your schedule! We might have a class together!" He nodded and slid it out of his bag, handing it to her. She took a moment to look over it with Michael, grin steadily growing. "Oh my god! We have two classes together, and you have two classes with Mikey! We have one all together, too! Orchestra! What do you play?" she asked, practically bouncing, still latched onto Mikey. "U-Uhm... I play mostly piano and keyboard... I-I'm pretty good with synthesizers, too," he answered modestly. "Oh! How cool! She's totally gonna make you play in front of us today, then!" she said cheerfully. "I play violin!" Ren smiled and nodded a little before looking at Michael. "U-Uhm...what do you play?" he asked timidly, smiling a litle wider when he noticed Roku's arm around his waist. "I don't." Michael said after laughing at the look on Ren's face when Pysber hugged him. "Im an aid. I have no musical abilities whatsoever." He smiled and looked down at his watch. 10 more minutes till he needed to be back in the office. "I might as well start walking back now. Bye Psyber. Enjoy!" He giggled a little and began walking toward the office. That Ren boy was in for a treat.

"O-Oh... Well, I'm glad you help everyone, then," he said softly to the teen before waving slowly at the retreating back. Psyber suddenly jumped on him, capturing his thin frame in a big hug and burying her face in his shoulder. Roku had to move his arm quickly before it got crushed between them, the redhead quickly grabbing his ghost's hand. Ren blushed slightly, releasing a breath as Psyber released him shortly after. "C'mon! Let's go to the Orchestra room! I don't have a class right now, and I'm sure Mrs. Treble would love for you to play for her! You don't have to actually go to your classes anyway!" she shouted happily, dragging him along behind her by his hand. "O-Okay..?" he stuttered, startled by her sudden outburst.

XXXXXX☼XXArlene "Psyber" Marianth"Mrs. Treble!" Psyber shouted happily as she bursted into her room, Roku stumbling in behind her. "Sweet honey child, you scared the daylights outta me!" the plump woman laughed, hand on her chest. "You know you need to warn me before you do that," she added, not paying attention to the class that was staring at the three. "Mrs. Treble! Mrs. Treble! This is the new student! He's in the orchestra and says he plays piano and keyboard and synthesizes!" Psyber informed her, jumping up and down in her heels happily, shoving Ren forward. He blushed darkly, stumbling up to his teacher. "So, you play the piano, hmm?" she asked, hand on her hip. When he nodded, she laughed and gestured towards the piano. "Well, get on over there and show me what you got! My choir class seemed to not want to do much today, anyway." Ren gulped and nodded. "O-Okay, I guess," he said softly, slowly making his way to the piano and sitting down at it. He put his trembling fingers on the keys and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. Then he began to play, fingers gliding over the keys in such a fluid motion, you would think they were dancing. His eyes stayed lowered to the keys he touched the length of the time he played, completely focused on the music spilling from the instrument. A few minutes later when he was done, he was immediately knocked over by Psyber's body pouncing on him. "Th-That was beautiful!" she cried, tear streaks on her cheeks. Ren then heard clapping and blushed as he realized it was the class that was applauding him, Roku joining in with a bright smile on his face. So beautiful, he said, causing Ren to turn redder.
