I came across this manga randomly and was pleasantly surprised. I've only had a chance to read the first manga, but I plan on finding more when I have the extra money.

The main character, Lucy Snow, accidentally enrolls into Miss Weaver's Academy for the Scientifically Gifted and Ethically Unfettered (aka Hollow Fields). It's run by the Engineers and has classes like Killer Robot Construction, Live Taxidermy, and Bio-Steam Grafting. Every week, the student with the lowest grades gets sent to a windmill for detention, but they are never seen again.

So far, I'm really liking the series. Despite it being an all ages rated read, it's a bit twisted and creepy. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

I remember that Manga! I read it, gosh, it's been years now, when I was still in middle school. (Now I'm about to graduate high school.) I think I still have the omnibus somewhere around here. -digs-

Anyways, from what I remember of it, it was a very interesting read, even tho is is for preferably 10 year olds. And if I remember correctly, towards the ending of it it started to get so exciting. ^^ Too bad it was only three books, tho I do feel that the mangaka put a lot into the three and ended the story at an appropriate time. I'd recommend highly it to all the otaku's of this guild, which I'm guessing is everyone.
