This is the universe of Mass Effect. Humankind shares the starts with a number of exotic and alien races, and the Citadel's Council is in charge. The events of this RP will take place in the year 2185 (around the same time as the events of Mass Effect 2.) There will be two groups, a Citadel-funded task force aboard the ship Yggdrasil, filled with military personnel (soldiers, politicians, scientists, mercenaries, etc.) and another as a mercenary group, the Grey Skulls who have decided to make a comeback, that is not restricted to Citadel races, ergo you can be a Krogan, Batarian, etc... but only in this group.

The threat of the Collectors is a new one, and many would see them destroyed, or pay top dollar for their technology. Each group will have a crew, and each crew will have a captain to command them.

Whether you wish to be the chief science officer of the Yggdrasil, or the pistol-whipping bad-a** of the rebuilt Grey Skulls, that is up to you...

Bio: Born in the slums of London on Earth, Shaw took to running in the streets like bark to a tree. She never stayed in one place to long, even in foster care, and never learned to bond emotionally with others. After she turned 18, she joined up with the military, and found she had a knack for getting things done. Her methods were not seen as cleanly, however, and her overseers tend to keep her on a short leash. She is currently in charge of a new Citadel strike-team/response cruiser, the Yggdrasil.

Personality: Cool, intellectual, analytical, introverted at times
Weapons/Biotic Abilities: Modified M-98 Widow (reduced force output, lower damage, higher ammo capacity, can only be used by Christopher in conjunction with his armor's reinforced right arm), M-15 Vindicator Battle Rifle, Medium Class Assassin Armor (reinforced right arm)
Bio: Born and raised on Earth, Christopher was a very intelligent child, spending much of his time studying the history and culture of various societies, both human and alien alike. Not particularly close to his family, he spent much of his childhood between places of higher learning. Studying in programs for physics, advanced technology, mathematics, he found himself learning much, but quickly losing interest. He found his academic life lacking in excitement, and missing anything resembling a purpose. He soon found himself considering service with the Alliance navy. He did enter the service, however, due to his 'pro-alien' political beliefs and new sense of purpose, he chose instead to enlist with the Coucil forces. After a several years of training and combat, mostly against Batarian raiders and various mercenary groups, he found himself selected for a special task force, as a junior officer no less. Dispite a self depreciating attitude, he is well suited to the task, with quite a bit of combat experience, as well as a wealth of cultural and technical expertise under his belt.

Age: One-hundred twenty-five
Rank/Function in Group: Crew member of the Citadel cruiser Yggdrasil; skilled biotic and the Yggdrasil's weapons specialist.
Personality: She's a quick thinker who prefers to observe a situation before opening fire. As both a proud former asari commando, she's stubborn and a little severe with a touch of pessimism; she knows the galaxy isn't a peaceful place, and fully believes she'll die defending it. She generally tries to keep her distance from other people, but can be surprisingly kind beneath her aloof exterior.
Weapons/Biotic Abilities: She has extensive natural biotic abilities like most asari, trained by asari commando training in her earlier years. She also carries an M-12 Locust SMG and an M-5 Phalanx heavy pistol.
Bio: She was born on Thessia to a single mother, a kind asari woman by the name of Tanaya. Her father had been a turian named Kyras, who unfortunately died serving his people mere months before his daughter was born. She returned to Thessia at the age of sixty-seven at her mother's request, as the older asari pulled some strings to get her daughter into the career she'd dreamed of as a little girl; so she was taken in for commando training. She stuck with her commando unit for twenty years, proving to be an exceptional huntress in the field. Only recently she was extended an offer to join a Citadel cruiser with the suggestion that it may lead to a performance review that may make her a Spectre. So, naturally, she agreed, and has since joined the Yggdrasil and her crew.
