The year is 2056.
The Period of Haves and Have nots.
During this period, you are either a rich bureucrat with billions of dollars or you are in the lower class, struggling to survive. There is no inbetween. The middle class has been erased as have the hopes and dreams of the majority. They are now nameless individuals who can get no higher in the world than as a graverobber, coal miner, factory worker, drug dealer, or harlot. They have no rights and no freedoms and die every day without a care by anyone. The only ones who notice the difference are the graverobbers whose survival relies solely on the deaths of people.

Our story starts with a man of this very occupation.....

[X] is a graverobber, trying his hardest to get the money necessary to survive. Unfortunately for him,
he has borrowed some serious money from one of the most prominent buisnesses of the land, Medco, and has to give half his money to the company each year.

Why that much you ask? Well, you see, the man's mother had contracted AIDs when he was young and, though his mother tried her hardest to pay the bills for it, she still managed to leave debt behind when she died. This debt fell to her young teenage son to pay.

He has been struggling under years for it because of the high price he's forced to pay each much. In fact, during his youth there had been numerous times where he had just barely made the amount necessary.

This is why he has taken up graverobbing. Graverobbing is the only work that has been consistent enough to allow him to pay off his debts and to buy food.

--------------------------------

One day while at work, he hears the mother of all loots. He finds out that there is to be a body of a wealthy man buried that night from a loud mouth of a man and learns where it is to be buried.

At hearing this, the graverobber gathers up his shovel and hurries over to go retrieve the treasures. He takes much care as he digs to avoid breaking the coffin and opens it up very quietly, worried that someone might see him. Once it opens, he scans the body for loot. [X] looks over the man's nice suit and watch before noticing something that he wasn't expecting. The young man was still breathing.......

This young man is [Y], the heir to Medco. An assassination was attempted on him by a relative to keep him from gaining the position. He was bashed on the head in his sleep and shoved in a coffin despite the fact that he was still alive. On top of that, when he finally awakes to the opening of his casket, he can't remember a thing about himself. He can't remember that he was a buisnessman or anything. All he can remember is his first name and the face of the man who tried to murder him.... Quite a bad position to be in when you've just awoken in a coffin in the middle of nowhere.

This is the scene is which our story first starts...

Profile Rules

Sorry to say this, but I do have rules, only because this roleplay is important to me though.

1] You can decide to be either uke, seke, or seme, but I don't want a super whiny uke or anything else of that sort. It drives me up the wall.

2] I would like to have an example of your work, preferably from another yaoi roleplay. In most cases, I won't say no, but I would like to see your writing style. I don't mean to be a witch, but it matters to me. I also know that my writing style may not be the best, but hopefully you could get an idea of it from above. I do not always write that long of course and would be willing to show you any of my posts from past rps if you would like a better example of my normal writing.

Aster slowly opened his eyes. It was strange. He didn't remember falling asleep, yet here he was. Trying to remember where he had been just made his head worse. Actually, trying to remember anything was painful. A face was the only thing that came to mind. Everything else was fuzzy at best. He attempted to place a name with the image, but to no avail. Perhaps, it would come to him later. He took a deep breath and tried to calm down. There was nothing he could do about his memory right then.

It was then that he noticed just how stuffy the air was. He attempted to look around, but it was pitch black and he couldn't really move very much. The space around him was slightly padded. Reaching up, Aster found that he was in a confined space. His fingers raced to where the top and sides met, trying to find a gap. However, there was no such thing. In fact, there weren't even holes for air. Panic welled up inside of him, but he he tried to keep himself calm. He would run out of air if he didn't. Despite this, he could feel himself tearing up.

"Great. I just had to wake up," Aster muttered trying to laugh at the situation instead. "Now I get to feel myself suffocate." He would have tried to scream or make noise, but it was unlikely that anyone would hear him anyways. If someone had gone to the trouble of putting him in this thing, there was no way that they would put him somewhere where he could be found.

There was a faint sound from somewhere above him, but he pushed it off as a part of his imagination. Getting his hopes up would only make the disappointment worse. The sound came again a few seconds later and he waited in anticipation. Maybe he was wrong. Maybe someone would find him. He kept hearing the sound, but it never seemed to get closer. His mind was definitely playing tricks on him. At least, that's what he tried to convince himself. That was until there was a loud thud. Someone had hit the container. He held his breath and prayed that they would keep going.

Sticking his shovel into the dirt, the graverobber lifted the heavy load with a grunt and a frown. "What the hell did they bury this guy in? Rocks? I mean for christ sakes," he muttered to himself before digging the shovel in once more. Again, it was heavy as all get out and he could feel his arms strain against the weight of it. He wasn't going to give up though. No, there was no way in hell he'd quit this, not with the treasure that would likely be under it all. He could picture all the things now: the gold watches, the rings, the handkerchief with those nice embroidered edges on it. They'd be enough to tide him over for quite some time. Enough to feed him and pay a few sets of bills. Ah he could picture the food now. The bread, the meat. Ah the meat, he hadn't had any for ages.

And, thus, the man continued digging, grunting here and there, but mostly trying to keep quiet. After all, if he got caught here, doing what he was doing... he'd be on the chopping block for sure. It was illegal, especially if the grave being dug into was a rich man's grave.

Sighing, he wiped some sweat off his brow and dug in one last time just to her a clink. At this, he grinned quite madly and chuckled some. Finally!

Digging in a few more times with the shovel to move debri aside, he finally moved to his hands, pushing the remaining stuff aside. Weirdly enough though it was kind of goopy and wet? Like cement or something. Frowning he wiped his hands on his pants and then moved to open the coffin. At the sight inside, he smiled all the brighter. He had all the goods, the watch, the handkerchief. Man, he was going to be so-

Wait had he just breathed, was he? Eyes widened as the man locked eyes with the other and he quickly backed up falling squarely on his a**. "W-what the-"

It took a few minutes more, but his patience was rewarded. Not that he had much of a choice. When the top was removed, Aster let out the breath he had been holding and smiled. He wasn't going to die. At least, not yet anyways. His eyes hadn't quite adjusted yet, but he heard a man's voice cry out in surprise. No doubt, the man hadn't been expecting to find him.

He wasn't quite sure what to say. So many questions were flowing through his head. This man was obviously just as surprised about this as he was, so it was unlikely that he had any answers. Either way he had bigger things to deal with. At the moment, he was trapped in a hole.

Quickly, he stood up and peeked over the edge at the man. A slight smile played across his face as he rubbed his head out of habit. "I should probably thank you," he said. "I'm not entirely sure how I got here, but I'm glad you found me."

Aster looked around a bit and realized exactly where he was. It hadn't dawned on him that they container he had been in was a coffin until he saw the tombstones. His hands shook slightly as he saw the wet cement around him. If he hadn't been found tonight, he wound never have been found. He pushed the thought from his head and returned his gaze to the man.

"I'm sorry, but can you help me out?" he said regaining his smile.
He held up his hand in hopes that the man would take it. Surely, he wouldn't leave him in the hole, right?

Blinking some as the man stood and spoke, the grave robber stayed silent, his mouth just slightly ajar out of shock. Was he... a zombie? No, no. He spoke. But then what the hell.. Was someone trying to get rid of him or something? If that was the case, why wasn't he freaking out more? He seemed so oddly calm, almost amused. What a weirdo. Did he do this for fun in his free time or something?

"Yeah, yeah. I'll pull you out, but you have to climb. I'm not going to yank you out on my own," he said with a frown as he pushed himself off of the ground. A few steps were then taken to close the gap made between them and his hand was offered. Just to be retracted shortly afterwards. "You have to explain this all to me one I get you out of there though. and you can't tell the cops what I was doing you hear?"

Watching for the inevitable nod, he put his hand down once more and started to assist in yanking out the man from his tomb below. In a few moments, he was out and standing beside him before he could so much as get a word in though, he heard sirens start to go off in the distance.

"Sh*t. Follow me," he said as he took the man's hand and started running, practically dragging the man behind him as he did so. Making his way to the gate, he was quick to slide under with the man in tow. The journey didn't stop there though. No, he continued running, pulling the other man along until they reach an alleyway quite a ways away. It was at this point that he took a deep breath and thn sighed. Thank goodness he was able to avoid that...

When the man spoke, Aster just nodded. Though, to be honest, he wasn't entirely sure what he would tell him. Even the habits that he had and the fact that he was calm despite the situation were foreign to him. He was completely clueless. At least, he had been found by someone decent and willing to help him. Not everyone would have done even this much.

"I-" he started before the sound of sirens echoed around them. Before he could react, the man grabbed his hand and began to run. They ran for quite a ways through places that Aster didn't know. His breathing grew heavy and labored, but he didn't dare stop. Instead, he tried not to slow the man down.

When they finally stopped, Aster took several deep breaths. It seemed that he was not as used to running as this guy was. "I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble," he said in between breaths. He leaned against one of the walls and laughed slightly. "Guess I'm not used to this much exercise."

He took a few more moments before speaking once again. "I promised I'd tell what was going on, but, to be perfectly honest, I don't know. I just kind of woke up there. I don't remember how I got there or... anything for that matter. I mean, I think it has something to do with this guy, but other than that I'm just as lost as you are."

Man this guy was slow, even at his relatively slow form of a sprint he'd had issues keeping up. And then that heavy breathing. Did he have asthma or something. I mean, it seemed like it took forever just for him to spit something out. And then once he had, he took a few more deep breaths for what felt like forever before saying something entirely useless and slightly frustrating.

"Well that's helpful like not at all," he said with a frown as the man finally spoke up, explaining himself as best as he could. "I mean really best description ever. I can totally picture nothing. Really helps me not understand anything." Ah perhaps he shouldn't be so bitter? He had just escaped the cops successfully... dragging a guy he didn't know behind him... after finding out the corpse was still alive...which meant he couldn't loot it.... which was rather disappointing considering he needed to pay the bills and had just dug through cement for a good hour... Alright so maybe he did have a reason to be bitter and mean. Yeah actually it was quite justified, especially considering how unhelpful the man in front of him was being.

"Do you perhaps have a name or a home or family or something? You now something helpful like that? Or are you as bad at remembering things as you are at running?"
PostPosted: Thu Oct 03, 2013 1:30 am

Aster just looked down at his feet as the man spoke. He had every right to be upset. Not that Aster could actually do anything about it. It seemed he was just as useless as the man said. A slight blush spread across his face as the man added the last part. Had he been that bad at running? It had been difficult for him to breath, but he thought that he had kept up quite well.

"I," he started. He couldn't remember anything at all. There had to be something he could, right? "I don't.... My name is... Aster." At least, he had remembered something. Though, he was fairly certain that information wouldn't be enough to satisfy the man. Sadly, it was all he could give.

"Look, I know that I've caused you trouble and I want to make it up to you, but that's all I know. I'm sure it would probably just be easier for you if I got out of your hair, so if you want me to leave just tell me." His voice was even toned, but his hands shook as he spoke. If the man asked him to leave, he wasn't sure what he would do. However, he wasn't going to stay if it was making things difficult for the man who had saved him. He was sure he could take care of himself if it came down to it.

"All you know is- You've got to be kidding right," he asked just to see that no, he had not been kidding. Well s**t. He thought he'd had bad luck upon finding his corpse uncorpselike and now this?! Today just was not his day. Maybe if he just ran away now, he could pretend it had never happened and end this bad luck streak? Maybe he could- Or maybe-

"if you want m to leave just tell me."

At this, the young man looked over to Aster again, taking in his expression and frowning. Oh come on. Stop that. Stop shaking. How could he feel good about leaving him if he was standing there looking scared? He couldn't. He knew he should just leave him there, that it'd make things easier for him. But with that look uncovering the guilt he'd tried to bury. Well, he just couldn't. " No. You can stay with me. Just don't move so slow yeah," he said, just to start walking towards home.
