I was thinking that we could have a paper that we read every two weeks or a month and we try to read though it and then there can also be side papers that people are reading and can have discussions about.

For the actual reading group the goal will be to understand the paper, the terminology, and the applications. For the first half of the month no discussion of the overall paper will but for terms and explanations of concepts in the paper. and then the second half of the month will be open to any discussion of the paper.

I am making it a month because I can be really slow at reading and can get really busy.

We can try out this style and then modify it depending on how it works. Also, if we get more gaians with different interests but like this style we can set up different reading groups too.
