More contests; not just the chance ones tho, like raffles and rolls of the dice. Here's some contests I had on another forum that seemed to go down well:
1. Scavenger Hunt. Hide little gifs (the different zOMG! fluffs would be a nice touch!) around the forums. The person who collects all the fluffs and contacts the admin first is the winner. To collect a fluff, just do a screenshot and include the url of the thread.
2. Claim A Mascot. This is a similar game to the Scavenger Hunt, but the difference is that everyone gets a better chance to win. Have the Guild Crew post a certain amount of mascots (every Crew member has a different mascot; in a zOMG! guild, perhaps a different Animated for each Crew member?), perhaps five or ten per Crew member, around the forum. The first person to claim a mascot (post in the thread "I claim this mascot!" then send a screenshot and a thread url) and contact the Crew member who posted it gets a gold grant, perhaps a small amount like 200g? If two people claim a mascot, it's the first person to post who gets the gold.
3. Tektek Challenge. Post up a picture of a person (can be anything from a celebrity to a comic book character) and the object is to create a tektek that resembles the person. The closest one made is the winner.
4. Random Quizzes. Quizzes of ten questions each, on any subject you like, are posted and the first person to send in an answer sheet (with the correct answers, mind) is the winner.
5. Hide And Seek. One of the Crew goes and plays zOMG! on a certain server and level at a certain time of day. Post up a sticky topic saying for example, "*insert name here* is hiding on Gold Beach on the Alarmskeeter server" then whoever finds them first (screenshot as proof) and posts in the thread with their proof is the winner.
