This is will kind of the little update thread that could for the upcoming 3DS title for Animal Crossing!
From what I've read online, Tom Nook is now a real estate agent and you will be able to choose any house you wish to live in! Villagers and players will now look more human, and the game will appear to be more lifelike, with trees, flowers and even benches for players to sit on.
Players will also be able to swim in the ocean... though, with sharks around, I doubt I would.
The release date is only set for 2012, but knowing Nintendo, that will most likely be Fall 2012 to early 2013.
Japan release was October 25h, 2012, NA seems to be looking at a summer release in 2013!
I am excited for it though!
* NEW * The North American Trailer has now been released! The game is set for a summer 2013 release date in North America under the name Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Anyone else extremely excited?!
The name has now been released, it will be called Animal Crossing: Jump Out and is due for release for Fall 2012. It will now be possible to become the Mayor of your village with an "eager secretary" named Shizu!
