Ever see a movie that makes you question your sense of morality? Movies like Benny and Joon or Powder make me think," Hm, maybe I'm a bad person." On the other hand, they make me think,"Hm, maybe I could be a good person."
Kung Fu movies have a completely different affect on me. Not just any Kung Fu movies, though. The ones where people can fly. When I see one of those, suddenly I am Jet Li and I am going to kick some a**. Unfortunately, about the time this feeling catches on I'm already deep into my imagination and my body is already about to Kung Fu kick some ninja bad guys. So, I have to turn my amazing Kung Fu skills into an uncomfortable shift before anyone notices.
So, what movies does everyone else like and why?

Hmm...lessee...I like...
Anything fast-paced. If it moves, it holds my interest.
I'm also very, very fond of the horror genre. I love the feeling when you're on the edge of your seat, volume turned up, lights off, and something scares the crap out of you. That is the best feeling in the world...well, okay, it scares the crap out of me, but...y'know. I like the feeling right before that, when you're waiting, waiting...and then WHAM! it hits you, and your heart beats a thousand times faster, and you're breathing hard, trying to get over it...
I also like the movies that confuse me. The ones that make me really think about it, try to work it out before the end hits, and when it does, I'm still puzzling it out. The ones that really require mindwork. But not the ones that were just dumb and no one understood...the ones that have a plot, but I'm just not sure where it's going...
I like the fantasy genre as well. The ones that take you to a place you've only read about, or the place you see in your dreams. They require you to really suspend your belief, and become part of the movie, they really suck you in, until you're holding your breath to see what might happen next, what you'll see next. I love those... whee

Ah. I can't stand horror movies. My friends are constantly making fun of me for it, too. I hid behind a pillow when we were watching Gothika.

i like comedys...but not current day commedies, oh no, they dont know funneh! mad Naked Gun, Airplane, Spy Hard, Mr. Magoo (yah see a pattern here?) also the Pink Panther ones ninja

Oh, god damn it. I just saw My Life with Michael Keaton and the cancer and all that jazz. Fantastic ******** movie. Depressing as hell. Just fantastic.
With you on the Mr. Magoo and Naked Gun. Very funny movies. 3nodding

That's what I love about Horror movies, Elitist...I adore that scary feeling...and Gothika, it wasn't even that frightening. I enjoyed the parts that made me jump, but it was more a thought-provoker than a scare...
Narnia. Yeah, yeah I actually just got around to seeing that recently. It was very good, I was so happy to get to 'see' the world that I'd read about as a child. whee
Also, I enjoy anything controversial. If it's started people talking, I have to see it to form my own opinion. cool

they dunt make good horror movies anymore, that's why i like horror GAMES! 3nodding Silent Hill 3 was disturbing...like "were gonna simmer your kids in fine wines then devour them" kinda disturbing sweatdrop

I'm new to that genre of games. 3nodding I've played some of Silent Hill 2...I enjoyed that. Scared me witless at times, despite the fact that it wasn't really all that scary. It was the things appearing out of nowhere that got me, I think. 3nodding
But you're right...and I enjoy them thar scary games! whee

i tried Condemned: Criminal Origins cuz a friend said it scared the crap outta him...i played it alone...at night...with the lights off...i am now convinced my friend is a wuss...
