well i've been thinking about the seventh book for a long time now and i just had a brilliant prediction
maybe dumbledore was (or is) somehow the seventh horcrux and snape killed just because of a big plan...this would explain why dumbledore is the most feared by voldemort...only because voldemort doesnt want to destroy the horcrux. THATS why voldie doesnt kill dumbledore when he had so many chances. this is just a prediction...there are tons of other possibilities

Then why would Voldemort assign Draco to kill him?

Well, that is true. Of course, he could have known Draco would fail, but it is unlikely that Dumbledore is the horcrux. Good prediction though! You know, Harry Potter sorta reminds me of this book I read in seventh grade four years ago called "The Giver". The head man teaches and gives this boy his gift and powers and teaches him things he never knew to be his successor. Just a thought. sweatdrop

*kicks Wiwra in the toe* Stop bumping! scream
Heh... sweatdrop Now that I'm past my violent moment, I'll try to recall my train of thought on this topic.
Oh yeah - well, I jumped at the prediction at first before realizing that it really wasn't supported by the details in the books. Gawd, I've got to reread the sixth one. I've forgotten a lot already.

I think maybe Dumbledore is not death or .... well ... what happen with Dumbledore hand??? That could be an antique magic ... maybe that was to protect him.. confused
What abouyt Snape??? Maybe this was all Dumbledore plan ... if he knew about Draco... dont you think he Knew about Snape... and why Dumbledore make him the Proffesor of dark arts just when Voldemort is back.

I kinda see a connection but its weak if anything, The Giver is a dystopian novel centered around a historian teaching a child all the horrors of the past.

I didn't mean the whole book. I only meant that small bit about how both boys really have to learn about the past and certain things to be a successor and to overcome obstacles. I wasn't referring to the book in general. Sorry if I made it confusing.
