 “And this is why you should never lead the way anywhere.” Archer smirked and shook his head. Trust his sister to get completely lost and circle the same place multiple times. Still he was trying hard not to laugh at his sister knowing it would only cause her to start griping at him. The day was far too nice to have her start complaining already. Even though they were out of Kemet lands for once Archer didn’t feel like he had left at all. Wren was like his mom for the most part which made it seem like home no matter where the two siblings went. It was nice and warm here, but Archer still shivered not used to the more temperate climate of the region.
“Well then fine you just lead on.” Wren waved a paw in front of her pouting just slightly. Her brother was a jerk, but he was right. Wren was starting to recognize the landscape, or rather the same rock she had passed at least three times. She was sorely tempted to step on his tail when he passed her, but she suppressed the urge to do so. Archer might take a while to anger but he held a grudge longer than anyone else she knew, and she had sort of been picking on him all day… week, month? How long ago had they left Kemet lands anyway? Wren never bothered to take note of the time.

 Anat shook his head at his sister. She had managed to get herself stuck. How she manged this he didnt know. Put her paw was stuck in the roots of a tree and she was trying to get out. "I told you you should have left it alone. But no you had to try and get the shiny object."
 "But it looked so interesting" Chihiro whined at her brother while clawing at the roots trying to free her paw. She was pulling with all her might but really wasn't getting any where but a sore paw. "Please help," she whimpered at him.

Archer stopped for a moment thinking he heard something. A disgruntled noise from his sister made him start moving forward. Altering his previously intended course toward the strange sounds he wondered what they could be. As he got closer he realized that what he was hearing was the voice of other foxes. “Sister dear I do hope we haven’t wandered onto another tribe’s lands.” His remark was said in a cautious tone. He didn’t know where they where and if any of the tribes that might or might nto be in the area were less than friendly.
At first having no clue why her brother just up and changed their course Wren had been grumbling quietly to herself. That made her miss the sounds of other foxes until Archer had lead them practically on the unknown foxes tails! “Well there’s one way to find out.” With that said Wren moved past her brother and trotted straight toward the voices. She could her brother’s strangled breath as he realized what she meant to do and followed her

Anat stood there staring at her for a second trying to decided if he really should help her or not. He was half tempted to tell her you got yourself into this mess now you get yourself out of it. Though mother and father would hear about it and thing wouldn't go well. "Fine but next time I'm leaving you," He told her threateningly before bending down to chew on the roots.
Nodding her head vigorously "Yes of course, thank you," she mumbled out as she pulled on her paw and digging at the ground with her claws. She was almost free when something caught her attention. She instantly stilled and whispered a bit harshly to her brother, "What was that?"

Having no shame at all Wren trotted right out and was certainly surprised by what she saw. There was a white fox with her paw caught and some strange male helping her out. Looking at the root she noticed that it was almost out from the looks of things. Wren looked back up at the pair and since they didn’t really look all that similar she wondered if she had interrupted a date or something. “Hey sorry to disturb you but myself and my companion are lost. Do you know which way to Kemet lands?”
Coming up from around his sister Archer sighed. “We are only lost because you took lead.” He was reward with his sister sticking her tongue out at him. Finally taking a look before him at the two foxes he mentally kicked himself. “Wren.” Her name was said with annoyance and a sigh. “Sorry about that. Um if you would like you can talk to my sister while WE help dig you out.” He swatted his sister’s side with his tail and then moved forward to help the vixen out of the mess she was in. Trust his sister to just up and ask for directions when other foxes where in need of help. Where did she learn to do that?

Anat watched the new female and male warily not sure if to trust them with his sister or if he should even accept their help. His chest puffed up with his normal arrogance. "No we are fine.. How could you get lost to this extent?" He had an idea where this tribe was and these new comers were way off. They most have no sense of direction he thought to himself.
"Oh sure we could point you in the right direction," Chihiro said with a smile before waking her brother with her tail again and tugging more aggressively at her paw. She was going to get it out and get her shiny object and prove to her brother that it wasn't stupid. Since her back was to them she couldn't tell if the new comers were approaching more or not.

“Well you might look fine, but she looks stuck and if you ask me that ain’t fine.” Wren glared at the male from under the brim of her hat. He seemed like a jerk. Maybe they should just leave him and the girl and go on their way. It would serve the male right, but a pang of worry for the female made sigh and move forward with her brother.
“Now miss, please don’t worry. I’m coming up on your left and my sister is on your right. Let’s see if we can’t get you out.” The necklace on his tail jingled as he approached and took a look. He saw he paw as firmly stuck and gently nudged it. “Miss try and relax your paw it will come out faster.” He kept his voice soft so that he wouldn’t spook her.

"She would be fine if she would have listened to me in the first place," Anat said a little hotly toward the vixen's attitude. He sighed and eyed the male keeping a close eye on him for his sister.
"Oh really your siblings?" She asked trying to kill the awkward tension that her brother had created. She glanced back on either side of her trying to see what the foxes looked like but they were to far behind her for her to get a really good look. "So um what are your names?" she asked while wiggling her toes till they caught the object she than relaxed her paw like she was asked.

“Sure thing. It’s always the girl’s fault.” Wren stuck out her tongue and then walked around to the front the trapped girl to try and make her feel a bit better. Her gem from her mother winked in the light.
“I’m Wren and this is Archer. Don’t worry. My brother is really good at doing things.” She winked. “We’ll get you out of here and then you can go back to what you where up to with Mr. Grump over there.” Wren flicked her tail at the male with a wicked smile on her face.
Archer sighed and looked apologetically at the male for his sister’s comments and then set to work scratching at the roots being careful not to harm the trapped vixen. “Well miss, would it be ok for us to know your name. Perhaps it might help pass the time while we get you out. By the time we get you out then all the introductions will be over and we can part ways on hopefully good terms.” Archer gave an exasperated look to his sister.

Chihiro's ears drooped some. "He is right it is my fault. I saw something shiny and tried to get it even though he told me not to cause I would get stuck and here I am stuck delaying you guys doing it what it is you need to." She said feeling bad.
"Maybe next time you'll listen to me hmm Chihiro?" He asked her in a way that let you know that his ego had been busted at the fact that she had admitted that he was right. Anat shrugged at Archer's apologetic smile. He knew how sisters were and didn't think the other male needed to apologize. "Its fine." he murmured to Archer.

“Hey all me and my brother have to do is find our way a bit. We have plenty of time to help you out.” Wren set to work helping her brother though it seemed he had done most of the work. She smiled at the female and then looked at the male. He didn’t seem to bad in the looks department, but man did he need an attitude adjustment.
Chihiro? Well that was a lovely name. Archer still didn’t know what the male was called but at least they all weren’t growling at each other anymore. Feeling a bit satisfied that newfound peace could be kept he focused more on getting Chihiro out of the roots. “If you feel any give then go ahead and pull your paw out. It might be ready. If not I’ll keep working anyway until it is, alright?”

"You know Chir instead of putting that poor boy to work we could always naw off your paw." Anat told her in a dark voice even though he was joking. He liked to mess with his sister when their parents weren't around.
"Noo," She yelled at him and jerked back as he leaned down toward her paw. Archer and Wren had clawed at it enough that with her jerking away her paw popped out and she went tumbling backwards. She sat there dazed for a minute before whining out, "That was mean Anat."

Anat. Well at least now Archer knew the male’s name. He looked back at the female. “Miss are you alright?” He moved closer to her to help her if she needed it. He noticed his sister was watching the male and worried she might do something foolish, but he figured he should see to the white vixen first.
Wren moved in front of the male and promptly sat down in front him and glared. “Anat? Your name sounds like a girl’s name. So tell me big shot does scarin’ your girl make you feel like some kind of tough guy?” Wren’s tail rapped on the roots behind her as she looked at him.
(gah i had mixed up Wren's and Archer's post colors.. also the pair don't know Anat and his sister are related..)

"And your name sounds like some slime from an animal so I wouldn't be one to talk." Anat said hotly not liking that she was disrespecting the name his mother and given him. He scoffed though at the next thing she said. "My girl? Your funny, she will never in a thousand years be my girl and yes I do enjoy scaring her. It's funny seeing as she is older."
Chihiro shook her head to clear it. "Mmm? Oh yes I'm alright thank you for asking." she said with a smile before looking down at her paw to see if the shiny was still there. Sure enough from around her paw was a silvery glint holding it up she cried out "Ah ha I got it see I told you I would Anat."

Slime from an animal? How dare he! “I happen to be named after a bird Ana~.” Wren pulled at the males name making it sound even more like a girls. She then struck her tongue out at him. “Not your girl? Older? What do you mean?” Wren looked momentarily confused but then cut the male off from answering any of her questions anyway. “Why wouldn’t you go out with her? She’s definitely cute.” Wren nodded self assured on this point. “Isn’t that right Archer? Isn’t she cute?”Wren looked at her brother for conformation.
Putting a paw over the bridge of his nose he sighed in his head. Why did she have to drag him into this? Aking him out of the blue like that, what was he supposed to say? “eh ah.. yes?” The last word was said while a blush creped over his face while he turned back to look at Chihiro and whispering quietly. “I’m sorry miss I’ve never really stopped to think on it, and sometimes it’s just easier to let her rant than deal with her.” He nodded in his sister’s direction. Then he stopped to think maybe he should drag his sister away before she did something stupid.
