Temple Paths & Halls

Simple the halls and paths any person needs to walk to get to the other areas of the temple. There are rather clean and always filled with activate. There is almost no corner you will turn with no one on the other side, it is a place of meeting, peace, and great value.

The master's discussed freely in the hallways, younglings enjoyed the space of the halls and outside, Padawans began to build more friends, and everyone seemed in a happy mood. When Master Nimbus walked the halls, many younglings came up to her, hugging her and greeting her. She greeted each and every one by name, and then handed them back over to their caretaker, who bowed to Nimbus and thanked her for visiting the young children every day. She turned back to Master Marcus, bowing to him. "I am sorry, I am weak to children's whims. They are small, adorable, and learning so much. I enjoy their youth." She giggled softly, which was a very happy sight from the constantly stressed Grand Master, making other smile more happily. Master Nimbus sighed softly and turned to him, smiling more calmly. "Speaking of youth, have you found a young lady that has caught your sparkling golden eye?" Nimbus smirking devilishly, knowing that children these days loved find love, and it was always the game of the youth. Nimbus was envious because she was unable to experience such love, so she passed that stage, and has grown to love all, but knew that the love between two people was much more differently.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|"Use your mind just as much as your sword..."|├▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Marcus seemed to be embracing the energy and joy the children bring as well. They began to climb, great, and hug him too. One youngling was already on his shoulder as she seemed to know the him very well. "No worries, I get my fill of them as well..." he said as some of the youngling wanted him to open his wings, though not really an appropriate please to do so. He backed away from the head master and the youngling just far enough to get enough room. "Alright I may get scold for this but..." he said as he opened up his large and vibrant wings. The youngling around him right away began to feel and poke them. "You guys do know I can feel that right?" he asked them as they laughed and giggled. The youngling on his shoulders seemed to be rather interested in his horns on his head. "Ah I see you like them little lady, well the elders on my planet have much larger and well decorated ones..." he said with a smile.

When Marcus heard the Grandmaster he right away tried to hide a little blush. "At the moment no, but I have someone in mind, but this individual is of a short life span..." he said as he seemed to be rather shy about the subject. "My kind live long and loving someone with a short life is rather painful would it not..?" he said and asked. "So I need time to think about if I'm going to tell this person my feelings..." He said as he seemed to be rather wanting to end the subject.

▍ ▎ ▏❝ It is better to be the Devil then the God. For then your Reasons become your Own.

The halls and endless pathways were flooded with bodies who hurried to their destinations, though a few would stop to chat with a fellow friend or comrade have they the chance. It was nosy, fairly. The voices of all echoing and bouncing off the walls, from the softest of sounds to the harshest. Some were way to loud to be considered indoor voices and many were so quiet it was actually annoying. The halls were definitely alive. However a single soul decided not to join in and add to the non stop sounds. Rather this young youth had just stepped out of the Archives, a rather large and old looking book in hand. A few steps to the side of the Archives Door the same youth took a seat on the rough ground, his legs crossed with the book upon on his lap, the scripture open to the first page. If anyone knew August, which many did, they would know that this boy hated to read and he voiced his dislike more then often, yet one would never find August without a book. He was odd that way, but then again who alive didn't have a quark. It wasn't his fault that he was blunt on his own accord.

With his right hand in a fist and pressed against his cheek his arm bent so his elbow could rest nicely atop his hip bone. August's head hung low so his crimson blood hues could easily scan the texts of the page before him, his free hand laying atop the book waiting to turn the page when he was done. In only a few minutes the young youth had already cleared a third of the book. He sighed. Today was a pretty boring day for August. It wasn't like he was looking for someone to give him something to do, in the end it wouldn't be like he was going to do it anyways. Nope. There just wasn't anything interesting going on nor was there anyone to annoy and banter. So August was reduced to exercising his mind. Though in truth, despite reading the words August wasn't processing any of what he was actually reading. Hell he probably couldn't even tell you the title of the book in his own hands. Thats how little he was paying attention. Again he sighed.

Sadly for him his sigh was far to loud for it had caught the attention of passer. A young girl, much younger then he was stopped in front of August. At first she said nothing so August hadn't even noticed her, she just stopped and stared to examine the boy on the ground before her. Personally the girl sized him up to be odd, the boy looked odd dressed odd and kind of placed himself in an odd location to read. He was only steps away from a quiet room that was ideal for reading so why would he place himself in the vocal halls. Wouldn't it be hard to concentrate? Squatting down to get to eye height with the boy she smiled and with a sweet tone asked him, "What are you reading?" August huffed his cheeks, his wild bangs luckily concealing the action. Lifting up his head as to meet the girls gaze his head coxing to the side a more then unimpressed expression lining his features. "A Book." He answered her his voice housing annoyance at her presence. But the girl seemed to have missed it because she didn't leave. "I see. Well then let me ask. What book are you reading." Dear god, again for the hundredth time he sighed. August wasn't really in the mood to deal with people, though that didn't explain why he chose to read in a location where conversation with someone might have been inevitable. It left August to wonder if maybe he secretly wanted someone to approach and talk to him, even if it was to just shut them down. How twisted. "I don't know." He said no emotion emitting with his words. The girl giggled thinking he was amusing. "So you don't know what your reading.." August nodded in response then went back to reading his book. Finally figuring she should leave the girl got up, "Well you seem busy. I leave you to your book." And with that she left. August could only thank the heavens. Even if he did deep down want someone to talk to, she was not that person. Her voice just irked him. It wasn't nice but it was the truth. At least this young youth hadn't been rude like normal. He was slightly civilized. Right? August shrugged at his own thought. Was his mind really that messed up. Well whatever.

Well now the book held no interest for him, not like it had anyways. He was only half way through it but didn't bother marking his page. Instead he closed the book with a thunk and placed it to his side on the floor. Yawning August shifted his position bringing his knees close to his chest and resting his head down upon them. The classic bored upright fetal position. A mass of onyx locks wrapping around his frame. It was almost like being embraced. Not that August really could compare. This was the closest thing to a hug he had ever had. Depressing no? Okie, now August was starting to annoy himself with his own thoughts. Happy time, yes Happy Happy Happy. Without anything else to do August figured he might as well bring the book back to the Archive. Sadly though he really didn't feel like moving. How troublesome.

Master Nimbus was surprised as to how the crowd of younglings turned from her to Marcus, who had a pile of them on top of him. They chattered and awed, watching the young man open up his magnificent, strong wings. Master Nimbus smiled softly at this, watching the children touch and mess with his large wings. She loved children to death They were beautiful, pure, curious, and gentle, however, could be moved just as easily. It was difficult, to put into children's minds that they were hear to be developed into Jedi. Some have cried from home sickness, some have already grown cold to their parents, with their own motives in mind. Children were very strong, yet very weak, and the Grand Master treated them like adults, spoke to them as if they were on her level, because for all she knew, they were. they were wicked intelligent, and as young children, they are oblivious to this and just absorb, and wonder, and absorb even more, letting the most wonderful time pass them. And it was okay. It was fine to see these children growing and absorbing. Young Master's like Marcus was just the type of mentor they needed to look up to.

"You are a great leader to them, Young Marcus." She spoke out loud, but she didn't mind if he didn't reply. The answer from her previous question was answered and understood clearly. "If time could last for everyone, but then no one would be able to rise up to challenge the previous." She answered softly, turning to the uncomfortable Marcus, having felt his aura shift multiple times. "What is your usual diet?" She questioned, walking forward and leaving the scene of excited children behind, changing topics with a scary ease. "I have wondered of a Dragon's diet, and have read many things, but words on a page can describe emotion very well unless one is a write of creativity." Nimbus smiled gently, thinking of something much deeper, but continued to think about that topic as well. But that was when she felt a presence enter her perimeter of sensing. Young Jedi Knight Cruxistis Augusanta, and by the feel of it, he was lonely and bored. So was another Jedi knight passing by him, but she would keep quiet for now. He deserved to solve problems on his own and stop being such a stubborn young man. Smiling, she turned a corner and glanced over at Young Marcus once more, focusing back on him.

Marcus heard the Grandmaster and smiled at her. "Thank you, but they are young and just looking for a big brother figure. Little Lisa here thinks of you as a mother..." he said to Nimbus. He then got all the younglings off of him and began to follow the Grandmaster again down the hall. He than heard her response to his answer to her question. Right away Marcus understood and seemed to be willing to accept that. It was one of the most interesting and most thoughtful things yet again to hear from a very wise woman whom has lived long than him. And right now, he was still considered a hatch-ling only lived for 23 years and his kind could be 400 considered a teenager.

He than heard the Grandmaster mentions about what he ate. After getting the last youngling off of him he quickly walked a bit faster to catch up with her. "Well, we are known to be omnivores but we mostly eat meat..."he said as he seemed to speak ab it louder as he barely caught up to her when she turned the corner but she waited and it was a good thing too. He was not sure if she keep walking what way she would take in this still complex and confusing building. He barely remembers the fastest routes to the Council Chambers. "Well the books are accurate, but my people on Wyrrin Prime are not really that open so our diet is rather larger and wider than text books can handle..." he said laughing a bit.

He also took notice of the young Knight that seemed to be a bit of a loner. It was a strange he didn't seem to be interested in other people of matters. "I wonder if I could recruit that August fellow into the Council of Insights..." he said to himself as he waited for the Greandmaster to continue their walk.

A mother.... An interesting thought. She had never considered herself a mother until Marcus brought it put with the child. It was an interesting theory, but it was also nice, to hear something so innocent and kind come from a child. It was very precious to her. But, being as it may, the two were getting closer to the Mess hall that the Grand master Rarely shows her face to. "Hmm, I really don't eat anything, now that I ponder on this topic." Master Nimbus commented back, thinking about how many times she has actually eaten a meal in her life. Possibly when she was a child, but even then that was only leaves and flowers, and possibly a rare fruit here and there, but she never really ate any more than that. Was food delicious? Speaking of different types of sustenance for different types of beings, was meat mouth-watering. She was curious. Turning to him, an inquisitive look feel upon her. "Is meat delicious?" Gazing at the hallway in front of her, she began to list, "Is it succulent, drool consisting, breath-takingly delicious? Or does it taste bitter? I hardly have touched a piece of meat, mind you, so It is difficult to even try to assume." The thought of food only made her curious, her stomach didn't respond to any of the taste-bud mechanisms inside of her mouth- To be honest with my own self, I question to think if I have any.... She was a pretty strange Grand master to think such things that were so far off of her normal, quiet, serious self, but this was her true personality when interacting with everyone around her. And she became even more so with children.

Marcus saw that Grandmaster Nimbus seemed to ponder on the idea of being a mother tot he youngling here. She had the personality and the love to do it. She also seemed to care deeply for those around her. A perfect attribute of a mother. As they moved toward the mess hall they stopped near the doors and she seemed to be thinking about the taste of meat and the other things found inside. Not that she was unaware the food was presence inside. It was more to the affect that maybe she had not tasted all there is to offer here int he temple. The slight drooling she was displaying seemed to say just that.

Than she got on the subject of meat. It was rather hard to describe, from his understanding was she now a plant eater? A herbivore as they call it. "Well meat depending upon how you cook it, season it, and prepare it can have a different taste. Event the type of meat can affect and have a different taste..." he said as he seemed to be rather confused on how to tell her. "Now only that some meat is eaten raw, such as certain fish that I like to eat..." he said as he scratched the side of his head with his pointer finger and seemed to be looking up at the ceiling as he thought. It was a rather hard thing to describe. "So in all it depends, you may have to try many kinds, styles, and cocking of meat to say if you like it..." Marcus told her with a gentle smile on his face,

▍ ▎ ▏❝ It is better to be the Devil then the God. For then your Reasons become your Own.

Taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly August shifted his pose. Keeping his knees tight to his chest, August pulled up his head only to lean it back on the wall resting permanently behind him. It was time to move his butt was molding to the floor. It was getting uncomfortable. August enjoyed lounging around and could sleep for hours but he could never stop his body from aching as an after affect, especially when he lazed around on the ground. One couldn't do much about it, wouldn't stop him from complaining about it though. Yawning aloud, the young Youth brushed back his bangs, it making no difference as the tassels only returned to their previous positions in front of his eyes. It was a morning habit, not that it was morning. It was more of an action one did every time they woke up, one would describe better. Yup, it was time to move from this spot and go wherever. August didn't really have a destination in mind. He could return the book to the Archive like he previously planned on doing. He didn't have any further need for it so it would just be a hassle to carry and look after. But then August really didn't want to go back into the Archive. Tough choices. In the end the Youth decided to just keep the book, he would at least finish it before returning the text. Might as well since he went through the trouble of picking it out.

Before August was able to stand a Shiver rushed down his spine. It was a feeling of knowing. Oh yes, deep down August knew someone had spoken his name in a text of an action. Someone wanted him to do something that he may or may not have an interest in doing. Did he want to take the chance of being asked or worse told? That was a thought. But it didn't seem like the source was coming closer to him but rather retracting. Oh yes, August had sensed that the Grandmaster and a High Master had ventured close to his own destination. Which completely explained his earlier feeling. But again they passed by him, a real relief on August's part. Though there was always the chance that he may like the offer that would have been brought to his attention, but then again maybe not. August was fickle that way. Shrugging away all the useless thoughts August rose to his feet dusting his behind out of habit to rid it of dirt and whatever else may be laying on the floor. Standing straight and stretching out his back August whipped his head clearing his hair of any dirt as well. The top was fine, but August had very long hair that was tied, so when he sat his hair often lay out on the ground. It didn't bug him at all. Hair was hair clean or dirty. He did his best to take care of it what more could you ask? Ready to leave the young boy picked up the book from the floor and oddly enough went to go pick up something else.. Only there wasn't anything else to pick up. It was strange.

Pondering on his actions August wondered what he was planning on also picking up. It took a couple seconds to click. His Crystal Ball! He didn't have it with him! August always had his Crystal Ball with him. How in the world could he have possibly not notice that it was missing! This was more then upsetting for the Crimson eyed boy. "HOW COULD I HAVE LOST IT!" He yelled to no one but startled all the people passing by. His mind began to race with questions. Where had he left it? Did someone take it? Was it in the possession of some crazy person? Would he ever find it? NO! He must find it. No other option was viable. With a spark to get him moving August rushed on feet bare and book still in hand around the halls looking for the clear shiny orb. He didn't really have a starting point to look and only ran whichever way, the Temple was rather large so there were many places to search. It didn't occur to him to retrace his steps. Where oh where could his Crystal Ball be?

Llewellyn "Princess" Lamonte
~ Padawan ~ Jedi Consular ~ Jedi Healer ~ Naboo ~

The wary glances that turned in her direction was slightly unnerving, but speaking up against would only serve to conjure gossip among the people. Word had gotten out that she had been the princess born to Naboo, and of the way that she had to leave her planet to remain free from harm. It seemed people had their own views on royalty, or they were simply not used to being around them. Time and time again Llewellyn had told whomever bothered to listen that she wanted to be treated as no more than one of them. After all. She had grown up with several of the other faces there, and they were all related in a sense. So why did she have to be treated differently simply because of the people to whom she was born? The closer she got to any of them the further away they went. They took obvious steps back away from whatever direction they were facing as she approached, and they watched her walk by in her usual manner, which didn't help the situation any. Her back was straight, too poised to be comfortable, yet it was to her. She felt at ease whenever she walked that way. Her chin was tilted slightly upward and she watched where she was going down the bridge of her nose. Her eyes betrayed no emotion, her poker face serving as a mask to her feelings. Her dress swayed around her hips with each step that she took. Her hands were clasped right before the base of her stomach where she held them together and went along. The mannerisms of a true princess, one would be able to tell without a doubt.

As she was walking she noticed that there were two girls in the mix who were whispering rather loudly, louder than anyone else in the room, louder than a whisper should be. Llewellyn knew that they were doing it on purpose, trying to draw negative attention to her as well as make her feel bad, but she would not give them the satisfaction of knowing that they had gotten to her, which they didn't of course. Instead, Llewellyn stopped where she was in the center of the long hallway, turning her head to the right to look at the two girls. One of them was short and overly plump, which made her look as if she had had one too many steaks to eat. The other was quite beautiful, with long golden hair the same shade as hers, but not quite as long or adorned. She had bright green eyes and fair skin. One would almost mistake her as a princess too. But the words that came out of her mouth would make a person think otherwise. "What're you lookin' at?!" Her tone was far too loud, and her attitude in approaching the matter was not lady-like at all. Llewellyn blinked once, not saying a word to the girl, leaving her to wonder what was to come next. After a minute of nothing being said, Llewellyn spoke up, her voice as mild and clear as ever, without he need to shout.
"You would do well to remember that you are a lady of the temple. Such tone is not befitting of you." Llewellyn parted with a smile, seeing the reaction that she had gotten from the girl. Her face had gotten red and her cheeks puffed out slightly. It seemed Llewellyn's words had gotten to her. It mattered not one way or another. She simply wanted to reach her destination, which was to find the Master and ask her a few things.

Almost to her destination, Llewellyn stopped, seeing down a dark pathway, though not clearly. There was something there sparkling slightly in the dim glow. She was at a loss as to what it could be, and she didn't feel the urge to go off course simply to find out what it was. But then again her natural curiosity got the better of her and she walked into the shaded space. Reaching for the sparkling object, she felt that it was smooth and round. Bringing it out into the light, she realized what it was instantly. It was a crystal ball. A quite beautiful one at that. She examined it at eye level and wondered who would have been so careless as to lose it. She soon got her answer as she heard a voice exclaim "How could I have lost it!" Llewellyn smirked slightly as she followed the sound back to its origin, and once there she realized a boy who was dressed rather ostentatiously, standing there looking as if he had just lost his best friend to a car accident. Her voice coming out of nowhere, she spoke.
"Is this what you are looking for?" "She held the crystal ball out for him to clearly see it. The amusement in her eyes was all too obvious, even though she tried to hide it. To see the man looking so dejected because of his loss was priceless. She stood there patiently waiting for him to take the shiny orb from her hand, with a thank you of course.

With his head hung low and body hunched August rushed through the Hallway pushing past any and all in his way, his crimson hues scanning, Left right then left again. He search high and then low, but mostly low for the small clear orb. It was important to him and if he lost it then all hell would break lose. He would be in trouble. With the speed of an nonathletic teen, which he was. It wasn't to say August wasn't fit, he was in great shape and he could proudly say he had an amazing body, but he just wasn't as athletic or strong as many of the other Jedi who occupied the Temple. Wasn't his fault he was just made to be like that. If anyone had a problem with it then they could shove it. Not his problem. Seriously. Now was not the time to worry about those types of matters. Nope. August needed to find his Crystal Ball. That was all the mattered. But where could it have gone? Did he have it with him when he left his room to visit the Archives? Obviously he did, August carried it everywhere with him. He must had put it down someplace and then it had rolled away by some means. Worst case, someone took it. Whoever that person was would die! Maybe not by his hands but August would figure out a way to make them suffer. He swears he will! By the gods he was going to find his Crystal Ball!

Dodging the mass of bodies which to his annoyance blocked his path, damn it why did the hall have to be filled with so many people! Honestly. Did they not see the urgency! He was in panic mode, Move! Mentally he cursed each person he passed, not out of spite but simply because he was freaking and completely stricken! They were all obstructing his view and if he couldn't see then that means he couldn't find his Crystal Ball which mattered more to him then all their lives. It was harsh but it was how he felt at the moment. It was clear August didn't get along well with the other Jedi of the Temple. Again not his fault. He was raised with a bad taste in his mouth. Made him cranky. But just then the Gods praised him. The group of cluster-ducks faded and left only August and a single being alone in the luxurious hall. Thank you was all he could mentally scream. Coming to a halt, August slid to a full stop on his bare feet as the girl approached him, in her possession the holiest of grails! It was his Crystal Ball! He had found it! Well she found it and was simply returning it to him so really he didn't actually find it, but that didn't matter. Details Details. As she called out to him August's expression could only lighten to that of utter relief. "Yes!" He exclaimed happily reaching out and taking the orb from her hands into his. "Thank the Heavens it's been found. I was ready to stroke out if I couldn't retrieve it." It wasn't a lie either. He was well on his way. With the Crystal Ball in his hand, August smirked looking at it. Though the girl would not be able to see it, August noted the change in the Orbs colour. What was unique about this Crystal Ball was that it reacted to a nearby persons emotions, turning a respectful colour to commune those Emotions on to August. So even if the girl put on a face to clear her emotions, August knew. And by the shade he could see she was amused and anxiously awaiting. "I guess you want a Thank You, huh."

~ Padawan ~ Jedi Consular ~ Jedi Healer ~ Naboo ~

Llewellyn pulled her hand back instantly as the boy snatched the orb out of it without precedence over the fact that he probably should have mentioned is thanks to her for finding his object for him before anything else. Apparently it was so precious that he seemed as if he were about to burst with the excitement of simply having it returned to him. At that thought Llewellyn took a step back, a small pace away so as not to seem rude, but enough so that if the boy did actually explode she would have ample time to either dash away or defend herself with whatever knowledge of the force she had. Llewellyn watched the boy turn to leave, and he was actually walking away without uttering so much as a word of thanks to her. She cleared her throat loudly enough for him to hear, but not so much so that it echoed through the now empty hallway. The boy turned back to look at her and she raised an inquisitive eyebrow at him, willing him to understand what she was getting at. When he asked if she wanted a thank you she could only shake her head slowly from left to right, walking ahead until she was past him, slightly to his left, with her back turned to his.
"You look like a very bright boy. What do you suppose?" He was clearly around her own age, maybe a little younger, but she couldn't resist calling him boy simply because of the way that he was behaving. He got so giddy over his crystal ball being returned to him, and who knew, maybe it could have been that he had had too much sugar in that one day to remain still.

Without waiting for a response or even for another word to be spoken, Llewellyn started walking away again, heading in the direction that she assumed the Master to be. She had something important to discuss with her, but that would have to wait until she found her, sadly. So far she had been searching through the halls and entering many rooms asking questions, but all she got was a big ball of nothing. It seemed people were too busy to pay attention to details these days. Everyone was always in a hurry to be somewhere, even if that somewhere was not important in the least. A thought came to her then, her footsteps slowing to a gradual stop. She turned back on her heels only slightly enough so that she could see the boy through the corners of her eyes. Despite his behaviour and the fact that he had been searching for his crystal ball, he must have seen something, or even heard wind of where the master might be.
"I don't suppose you know where I'll be able to find the Master of the Order? I have been searching for her for quite some time now." The Princess waited patiently for the boy to speak. And if possible she hoped to maybe hear that thank you that she deserved for finding his item for him. If not, then the least he could do was give her some clue as to where she might find the Master. If he had no idea then all it would seem she had done was waste precious time.

August shrugged, he may have thanked the girl for finding and returning his Crystal Ball but it didn't look like that was going to happen. Oh no. He may have had she not opened her mouth. Boy? Was she kidding!? No adult would even refer to him in such away. He was young sure, but that didn't give anyone cause to call him anything but his name. Oh wait, in fact no one even referred to him by name. Nope. Despite being born into the identity of Cruxistis Augusanta he would not use such a name. He was to be named August. Nothing more nothing less. Looking at the retreating body of the female, August could do no more then roll his eyes. Pompous Princess was the only thing that came to mind. Would he voice it, likely not. He was having an off day today and figured he may as well keep on this odd streak going. "The names August by the way. Might want to remember it." He huffed his cheeks puffing for added effect. It was clear he wasn't satisfied with the girl's attitude towards him. But then again he wasn't one to talk about mannerisms and what not. August wasn't even sure he had manners? He was just who he was, brash and cold. Would one want him any other way? It may turn out to be terrifying! You never know.

Shifting the old Book in his hands, August dropped the Crystal Ball to the ground. Many would have freaked thinking it would shatter once it hit the ground but it didn't. Nope. This Crystal Ball was strong and wouldn't even crack from such an act. With a single bounce August used his foot to steady the round stone in place. His hands were already full with his Book which he had claimed earlier from the Archive, so he would kick around his Crystal Ball like a soccer ball. He always did anyways. As the girl was August to was beginning to leave, however he was going to head in the opposite direction when she stopped and called back to him wondering if he knew where the Grandmaster was. Oh yes August knew. He could tell you where nearly everyone in the Temple was. If August had been in contact with that said person then he could feel their Force Connection. Though his sensory was limited, the Grandmaster was close enough for him to distinguish her from the crowded Temple. Turning back to glare at the woman he nodded his head in confirmation. Yup he knew. Now the question was, would he tell her? "I could tell you where she is." A grin forming. Under his foot he rolled the Orb, again it had shifted colour. Having been focused on the Grandmaster, the orb had to so it was now displaying her emotions. It wasn't good. It seemed the Grandmaster was distressed about something. But the girl before him didn't need to know that. "If you say my name, I'll guild you to the Grandmaster."

Llewellyn "Princess" Lamonte
~ Padawan ~ Jedi Consular ~ Jedi Healer ~ Naboo ~

While she had been walking away the boy had called after her and told her that his name was August and that she should remember it. The moment she stopped and looked back at him and asked him where she might find the Master, she also added something else at the end.
"August? I assume that is a nickname? You do not have to tell me your real name if you do not want to." After she said her fill she waited patiently for the boy to answer her former question. She still wanted to know which way she should be heading, but assistance was required in this situation. The look on the boy's face told her that he knew something that she didn't, and that he had no intentions of sharing. "Do not play games. I must find her as quickly as possible. There is not a moment more for me to tarry." The boy seemed to ponder her claim for a moment before a grin crossed his features. Llewellyn stared at him for the longest while, her poker face evident. She was not amused, but she didn't want to say anything to upset him at the moment. When he voiced his terms for telling her where the Master was, Llewellyn could only smile. She turned her body towards his fully now and walked closer, extending a hand when she was close enough. "Alright then, August. Llewellyn Lamonte. Pleased to make your acquaintance. Now I think it would be faster for you to show me to her location rather than tell me. Lead the way."

You're not the only one. I didn't have anything else to add in this situation so I just ended it there :/

August gave no comment to her remarks on his name. So what if it was a nickname. He preferred it, plain and simple. In response August shrugged his shoulders, all visible emotion fading from his features leaving an emptiness. It wasn't that he disliked his name or that his name held any ill meaning with it. If just wasn't his own. Wait, was that the reason? In truth August never actually thought about why he didn't want to be called by his real name. Cruxistis Augusanta... It wasn't a bad name, it was pretty unique, Was it not? August was just a name his only friend would call him. He liked it a lot. Or maybe he just wanted to keep being called August because it was the only thing he had left of that friend. It made him happy inside. Oh, what a sad thought. Mentally shaking away the negative feelings August reassigned his mindset. August was the one who got to see everyone's emotions it wasn't going to be the other way around. He would never allow someone to see his. That was just how it was with him.

Clearly now, as August waited in thought the girl was getting edgy. She wanted her answers and August was the only one around with them. He voiced his terms and patiently with his grin he waited to see her response. Would she accept or not. Either way mattered not. But it did kind of shock August when the girl accepted. She enclosed the space between them extending her hand in a welcoming gesture. A hand shake. That wasn't going to happen, but the thought was nice. August just didn't do that whole thing. So rather then returning the favour August turned from the girl on his heel, his other foot rolling the Crystal Ball in the same direction. "Well then Little Miss Lamonte. This way." August spoke rather playfully. He would lead the way towards the Grandmaster. The pathway they took was rather long but it was memorable as any would know once entering it where one was going. The Dinning hall. The Dinning Hall would be their destination.
