Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus- One of the worst atrocities to grace WM. I don't really care for Sheamus's current run, but that's not important since I expected him to win...however, I expected him to win in a hard fought match with probably the one guy who can make anyone a star in the company. Instead, DB looked like fried s**t who never should have worn the belt, and no one watching Sheamus for the first time knows anything about what he can do in the ring. Both men got screwed, and just knowing the fact that reading this review took longer than the actual match makes me disgusted.
Kane vs. Randy Orton- I still have not seen this match yet, but I heard good things, despite how short it was. Randy putting someone over clean is impressive, and he should do it more often, honestly.
Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show- Cody should have shone at WM...Instead, he was buried under a 500-pound piece of crap.
Kelly Kelly/Maria Menounos vs. Beth Pheonix/Eve- Maria was the second best wrestler in this match...that's how bad it was.
Undertaker vs. HHH- The first hour of the show was absolutely terrible (aside from Kane/Orton). This completely turned the show around. By far, the match of the night. One of the best story driven matches I've seen, period. Absolutely amazing.
Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny- It was a silly group match used to get guys who should have had more important matches/have no talent but are pushed anyway onto the PPV. At least they had their match, but I'd prefer the group match to have more meaning and let the guys shine a lot more than making us focus on the s**t outside the ring (and everyone outside the match was absolute s**t).
Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk- An amazing technical match, but I felt like they could have gone a lot farther. Instead of building for their first match at Mania, the WWE should have build for the feud to end at Mania. Because, now that the feud is still going on, it feels like we were cheated out of a great match, though we still got a pretty good one.
The Rock vs. John Cena- Surprisingly, a great match. Would have been better if Rock were in better shape, but not bad all around. The finish of the match was a bit lackluster, but the right man won...And for the record, the Rock was the right man to win, not because he's the Rock and Cena's Cena, but if Cena had won, where does Cena go from there? He would have "cemented" himself as the "best Superstar to ever be in the WWE" ...meaning there would be no one, past or present, for him to feud with. Plus, look at the stakes. If the Rock loses, what does he really lose? Nothing. If he wins, he cements his legacy. If Cena wins, he gets nothing...at least, nothing going forward. If he loses, then there are so many more places Cena can go. If this were Cena's last match, I'd be saying something entirely different, but since Cena has to stay in the company, the right man won.
Overall: MUCH better than the last couple Manias I've watched. The irrelevant s**t was toned down so much more, and we had more than one good match, as opposed to the usual "well, one match was good but the rest sucked." The WWE still has a lot of work to do though, as I don't really see many people watching this as their first experience and going "wow, I love wrestling now!" I think it could job of keeping current fans happy, but I don't think they created any new fans.

I thought WM28 was fantabulous all around! I could have done without the Funkasaurus thing, but whatever. Still kickass.

Silver Ace Revolver I thought WM28 was fantabulous all around! I could have done without the Funkasaurus thing, but whatever. Still kickass. I saw it as just a filler spot to give time for the audience to recharge before another big match. WWE's been doing this since the HHH/Jericho followed Rock/Hogan and, while a great match, HHH/Jericho got very little response because the audience was tired from Rock/Hogan.

IMO, the only GOOD matches were Taker/HHH, Jericho/Punk and Rock/Cena. Orton/Kane was okay. Not the best 'Mania, not the worst. Pretty good. And in my opinion, better than Wrestlemania 27.

And in my opinion, better than Wrestlemania 27. I agree, but the fact that we finally got more than one good match at a Mania makes it better than some of the more recent events...which means WWE is stepping in the right direction.

i was distracted when I was watching it the week after it played (doing homework), but I full-stopped to watch the Taker/HHH match after about 5 minutes into it. Was a fun match to watch.
I need to re-watch the whole show at some point though.
