Name: Victoria Todd
Nickname: Vixi
Age: 20
Birthday: December 8th
Sign: Sagittarius
Gemstone: Topaz
Blood Type: B
Fav. Food: Nutella and Apples [or any other fruit, but apples are her favorite, followed closely by strawberries], Fried Tofu, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy.
Hated Food: Peas, Beans and Brussels Sprouts (anything green and pod-like, her older brother traumatized her as a child by telling her that she would have aliens growing inside her if she ate them.)
School: University of Destiny City (English Major)
Hobbies:
Reading: Vixi loves to read. Words are a favorite of hers and she loves they way words summon up our greatest imaginative feats. She reads anything and everything, poetry, fiction, nonfiction-- but nothing holds a place in her heart like riddles. Lewis Carroll’s riddles are her favorite. Why is a raven like a writing desk? She considers books to be her friends, and she thinks they unlock worlds beyond comprehension. She’s apt to dislike someone if they make fun of, or mistreat books.
Volunteering: Apart from books, Vixi is an animal lover and volunteers at the Humane Society, taking care of abandoned animals while the shelter finds loving homes for them. She wants to bring home every single pet that walks through the door. She particularly has a fond spot for the “defective” animals, the ones least likely to get homes due to previous injury or deformity. She's not exactly a fan of dogs, but tolerates them. She's easily more of a cat person.
Writing: Spawning off of her love of reading, she is an avid writer. She dabbles in poetry and riddles, but mostly like to rewrite mythology and folklore to fit modern circumstances. She’s very secretive about her writing though and tries to keep her notebook with her at all times to keep it from prying eyes.
Virtues: Caring: Vixi has a big heart. Sometimes it's a little too big. She cares about what people think and cares about how she can help them to like her (and sometimes she lies to get them to do so... see flaws). She's an animal lover and she loves books as if they too have feelings. Vixi thinks everyone has their flaws, but like books, there is more than what's on the page.
Patient: She can wait as long as it takes to get things done. She’s not a fan of being rushed, or rushing processes. She thinks all good things come to those who wait... or those who plot meticulously.
Clever/Pensive: She tends to think outside the box. When she's presented with a situation, she sees multiple possibilities of outcomes. Seeing plot-lines in everyday life is something she attributes it to her gratuitous amounts of reading. It makes her a little quiet at times, but she doesn't mind.
Imaginitive: Between reading and writing, Vixi has an active imagination. She can come up with fantastical stories, settings and characters to lace through the pages of her notebook. When she's alone, she likes to pretend she's the star of her very own novel, that she's the heroine and her story is just about to begin...
Flaws: Secretive: She is secretive about her personal life so much so that it can distance people. She comes off as a liar, even when she's not lying. She's just trying to protect herself.
Manipulative: Vixi has a very persuasive personality. With her unyielding patience and cunning, she can turn any situation to her advantage. She would never try to change someone's personality, but if it is in her realm of control, and it works to her advantage, she will persuade the situation into her benefit. She has lost more than one friend though the fall-outs of her schemes, so she tends to keep it to a minimum, but like an addict, it’s always in the back of her mind, weaving mental mazes and keeping one step ahead of everyone around her.
Self-centered: In suit with her need to keep things under her control, it's obvious that Vixi is a little self-centered. She isn't too fond of this attribute of hers, but has learned to balance out the bad with the good. It's not that she wants to be the center of attention, but more that she wants to be seen in a good light, despite her flaws.
Fibber: She isn't a liar per-say, but when it comes to being the "bad-guy" in social situations, she isn't afraid to spin the tale to put her in a better light. She considers it "persuasion" more than lying. She's convinced that the lies don't hurt anyone, that she's just doing what needs to be done, but guilt leaves a sour taste in her mouth.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Almond shaped, bright green.
Skin: Not pale, but not super tan either.
Hair: Dark crimson red, long, and wavy. Has thick side-swoop bangs.
Face: Slender heart-shaped face. Small nose and thin lips.
Clothes: Artists Decision (I would prefer some sort of cute skirt-shorts-sneakers combo though, and maybe a messenger bag to keep her stuff in? Foxes are notorious for being the messengers of Inari so I figured that it fit...)

Senshi: Sailor Lukida: Senshi of foxes. (Lukida is an alternate name for Alpha Vulpeculae, brightest star in the Vulpecula, “fox,” constellation.) Challenge: “A fox is a wolf who sends flowers.” Fuku Colour: Main Color: Butter Cream Secondary Color: Light Rosy Brown Fuku: Her entire design is meant to be very tribal//ritual. I've been looking through oodles and oodles of "tribal fusion belly dance costumes" on various websites to get an idea of what I'd like for her. It doesn't have to be anywhere near as ornate, but the more it is, the more her look gets the reference it deserves. OverallCollar; A hood, please. Sort of like a cloak, but without the cloak part. Bow; A slender bow. (I can't decide between a rope-like cord ribbon, or actual ribbon, so artist's decision) Bodice: Individual Reference Sleeves: Like these! (It's cool that I'm using this image, the artist is my friend and the model... well that's me. I'm just specifying because it's original art and I know it's touchy.. but check her out, she's AMAZING! Alessandra Pisano Illustrations) Brooch: A circle please, this would represent the Hoshi no Tama that enables her to summon her attack, so circle, and jewel like. Bottoms: Skirt ReferenceTiara: Beaded/woven. Choker -- A small ribbon, bow on the left side of the neck (Not a big bow, but a slender bow with longer tails) Shoes: Sheer stockings up to mid-thigh, lacetops and garters. Gloves: See Sleeves... They sort of qualify. Accessories: Slender ribbons (similar to the bow), tied just behind temples. Left Side accentuated with silver coins and two large feathers in both primary and secondary colors. Face paint/tattooing like a Swift Fox. Attacks:Sailor Scout Attack: Possession - Description: She gets a ghostly tail and set of fox ears. She pulsates for a moment, eyes closed and when she opens them, her boosts have taken effect. - Effects: Lukida temporarily gains a minor strength boost and a minor reflex boost. Her physical attacks (punching, kicking) become more accurate. Damage is minimal. - Range: N/A - Target: She targets herself in order to attack the enemy with basic physical attacks. - Time: 15 seconds, two uses. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Feral Possession - Description: She gets five ghostly tails and set of fox ears. She pulsates for a moment, eyes closed and when she opens them, her boosts have taken effect. - Effects: Lukida temporarily gains a slightly stronger strength boost and a reflex boost. Her physical attacks (punching, kicking) cause slightly more damage (loss of breath, bruising), while her evasiveness rises. - Range: N/A - Target: Lukida targets herself so she can attack with advanced physical attacks. - Time: 30 seconds, two uses. Eternal Sailor Attack: Fox-Fire - Description: White-blue ball of fire. - Effects: Electrocutes the target. Does not kill, but it's very painful, especially if the target is wet. - Range: 12 feet - Target: A single enemy target. - Time: The initial attack lasts five seconds, the jolting pain lasts for ten, and then fades out over 35 seconds.

____________________________x Other Non-Required Information Style:A casual sort of girl. She wears straight leg jeans and a pair of grey converse sneakers matched with t-shirt or tank top. During colder months, she'll wear pull over hoodies and zip-ups with her charcoal grey pea-coat. She tends to lean more towards the brighter colors, lime green, electric blue, neon orange, etc. The only color she strays away from is pink. Pink clashes with her hair so horribly that the color is non-existent in her wardrobe. For more formal occasions, she does own a few sundresses, mostly in hues of brown and green and a few pairs of heels, but she doesn't favor wearing either. Family:Mark Todd: Age 45. Vixi's father. He's a tinkerer. He like to fix things and take things apart, even if he's not sure how to put them together again. He miraculously fixed Ana's car in the rain one night, then took her out to dinner and the rest was history. Stands 6 foot, 7 inches tall and weighs in at 186lbs. He has glasses, and greying black hair. He's the care-taker of the family. He cooks and cleans and makes sure that Vixi has money for lunch or a homemade one before she's even out of bed in the morning. Vixi loves her dad, but thinks he's a little embarrassing at times. He's always got some sort of project out on the table and if he can't figure it out, he leaves it there. Vixi dislikes the mess it leaves. Ana Todd: Age 42. Vixi's mother. The origin of Vixi's appearance. Her mother has thick red hair and brilliant green eyes. She's 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighs 156lbs. She works as an editor with a publishing company (specializing in women's romance), and has encouraged Vixi to read since she was just a baby. Vixi admires her mother, but envies how much time she spends on her work. If she's not at the office with it, she's brought her work home with her and locks herself away in her office for hours on end. James Todd: Age 22. Vixi's older brother. He's a DCU drop-out, deciding that more schooling was just a waste of time and money. He lives on his own in a flat with some friends and works in a trendy clothing store. In his spare time, James plays guitar and writes lyrics for his acoustic songs. Vixi thinks he's brave to share such an intimate part of himself so openly.

Okay! I'm ready for assistance and criticism! I have a few more ideas rolling around in my head for other senshi, so if this one flops hardcore, I can just start over, so please, criticize honestly!

Things I'm struggling with:
Color combinations Attacks (Fox fire?) A more in depth personality
Oh, a fox/kitsune senshi. How interesting... I know quite a few people that will love to have another animal sphere on board, myself included. Now, as for suggestions... Color CombinationsIt would depend on what kind of fox you're aiming for. There are several types with several fur patterns; when I was choosing the tiger, I immediately knew which color I wanted to go with, to match the coloration of a white tiger (not a species of their own, but genetics). For a fox, the common color would be red, of course, but there's other coloration to consider, depending on which fox you're aiming for. Red fox- reddish-orange fur, white underbelly, black limbs. So from that, you aim for Main color being redorange and secondary color being black. White is already covered if she's a White Moon senshi (if Dark Mirror, then you can put white in the secondary spot instead). Arctic fox- white with some gray, meant for blending in to its environments. So, main color white or gray and secondary color is gray. Or, if you want to go a little more interesting, perhaps a clear, almost see-through color (will explain later for possible powers). Fennec fox- Butter cream color, with some range towards brown towards the back end and tail. So, main color would be (butter)cream and secondary color could be either brown or light-reddish brown. Kit fox- Like a fennec but with some grey specks along the top of its head and across its back, with a more cream underbelly. So, (butter)cream and grey. Swift fox- Here's a picture. Rather beautiful, as it has almost every color pattern of the other foxes that were mentioned. Also, like the kit fox, is has the black streaks under its eyes to absorb sunlight (like a cheetah does) , so in her Senshi form, she could have darker eye shadow or even tribal paint, to fix.
If you're going for a more tribal look, you may want to go with a more natural coloration, so I'd keep that in mind.
Now, as for the attacks. Hm... well, given that I am a gamer at heart, I'd be curious to see what kind of fighter she is. Do you want a pure offensive attack? Defensive? Rogue-like trickery? Is she a team player, or could she utilize this attack on her own? Given her "Self Centered" flaw, it seems like she wouldn't openly want to work in a group, so you might want to consider a solo attack. However, if you give her one that would require some assistance from the other end (someone else would have to deal the finishing blow), that could work well in a character building setting (she is then forced to seek out help, but she can also use the "Manipulative" flaw to her advantage there. Example: Tsui would help anyone, at any time, for anything. Offer her a Klondike bar and Tsui will do just about anything, though some players may not like their characters to be used like that, even if it benefits both parties.)
Foxes and kitsune are known for their trickery, so I'd even suggest something to go along the lines of that. Perhaps she could create illusions of herself, or perhaps disguise herself, as either another Senshi (one that may had to have met before, or perhaps she'd need a lock of hair or another personal effect to make it work, and with each upgrade, it can last longer?). If you go with a more Arctic fox coloration, then you can probably have something like camouflage or phasing in which she could use to escape an attack, though with limited duration or uses until you upgrade. It'd be a good way to maybe turn another Senshi's attack against a fellow companion, or simply avoid their blows until they've exhausted their magic?
Really, I think it would depend on if you plan for her to be a White Moon senshi, Dark Mirror, or Corrupt... foxes are mostly noted for trickery and their wit, so I'd say use that to your advantage.

Beautiful suggestions! Thank you! I'm torn between a White Moon Senshi and a Dark Mirror Senshi. I think Dark Mirror would be more appropriate for her character, but the other part of me is like "no! Be good!" Ha. Oh the struggles.
I was originally thinking a traditional red fox, but I was also thinking that different "versions" of her could represent different species of fox, so I gave her mundane self red hair, spinning off of the red fox. I LOVE the swift fox. I think that's a phenomenal idea, especially the paint. Would it be too much for her to have fox ear/tail? Or is that being done by other animal-spheres as well? (I'm still pretty new to this whole concept)
I was also thinking natural colors for the scheme, I just wasn't sure which direction to go in. Browns and greens seemed so obvious. But butter cream, that's new. Butter cream and a rosey-brown?
I love the idea of illusions. One of my favorite fox-oriented legends is of a Kitsune that took a woman's form because it loved her husband. I'm now thinking of an offensive move, illusion based in which the affected is trapped in an illusion. It would offer confusion, camouflage for Vixi and potential teammates, and if the actual location of the battle accommodates, it could be used to deal a physical blow as well (falling down stairs that the affected was unaware of, or other similar things)
I'm still attached to the idea of foxfire but I'm not sure where that would go and I feel like it would be more of an offensive attack and I really REALLY want for it to be a trickster type thing... but I'm also toying with the idea of shape-shifting. It's common in fox-folklore that the spirit in question is a shape shifter, mostly between a fox form and an assumed human form, not necessarily their own. Though this could also be along the lines of an illusion (I'm thinking like Taski's talismans in Fushigi Yuugi, the wolves he summoned up could do physical damage, but when they were attacked, it was revealed that they were just paper, and as such, their physical form vanished when the paper was cut/burned etc.)
I'm just bouncing ideas out there at this point.

+Little.Black.Cat+ So I'm in the process of creating attack names for Sailor Lukida, and I've been having some trouble with it since my idea for her to be a fox senshi came from the idea of Kitsune and all sorts of Japanese mythology surrounding them. My idea for her is that her fox-guardian is actually much older than she is, and she has to literally summon him to her side for battle. I was originally thinking in Japanese, but I changed it to Latin, and truthfully, it sounds much better in Latin. Is it taboo to have an attack in a language other than English? The intended attack name is "Vulpes Daemonis Nascor" which means "Fox Demon Come Forth." I posted this in the Management Q&A but I figured I'd post it here to get some feedback as well...

So, attacks! They need a bit of work. Senshi attacks have durations. Regular attacks usually last 7-15 seconds depending on strength, 15-30 seconds for Super attacks, and up to - or maybe a little over - a minute for Eternal attacks. You'll need to specify duration for each attack. Next, Senshi attacks have limited use. 3 uses is usually the max, and I think - though I'm not sure - that it's usually 3 uses for Regular attacks, 2 uses for Super attacks, and 1 use for the Eternal attack. It might help you to use a form for your attacks similar to what I used: Name: [Attack name] - Description: [How does the attack look?] - Effects: [What does the attack do?] - Range: [How far away can your Senshi attack from?] - Target: [Does the attack effect a single target, or does it have an area of effect? Does it affect anyone, or just Chaos-aligned targets?] - Time: [How long does the attack last? How many times can it be used?] Third, I think Summons-type attacks are kinda frowned on. I'm not sure that they're banned, but I think it'd be better to err on the side of caution here. I think it helps to keep in mind that since we don't want people's characters running around killing each other, Senshi start with attacks that are weak to downright pathetic. The few Senshi that have damage-dealing attacks would, at least at first, probably have better luck trying to kill an enemy with a pointy pencil then they would with their magic. A lot of Senshi have attacks that just freeze/slow enemies so they can go search for said pencil.

Just playing around with ideas here. To avoid a literal interpetation of a "kitsune" sphere and thus summons-style attacks, I've delved into kitsune powers on Wikipedia and come up with these potential attacks:
Name: One-Tail Possession - Description: - Effects: Lukida temporarily gains a minor strength boost and a minor [scent, vision, energy, OR reflex] boost. She also gets a ghostly tail and set of fox ears. - Range: n/a - Target: Lukida targets herself for a boost so she can then attack an enemy. - Time: 12 seconds, 2 uses
Name: Five-Tail Possession - Description: - Effects: Lukida temporarily gains a slightly stronger strength boost and a [scent, vision, energy, OR reflex] boost. She also gets five ghostly tails and set of fox ears. - Range: n/a - Target: Lukida targets herself for a boost so she can then attack an enemy. - Time: 30 seconds, 2 uses
Name: Fox-Fire - Description: Looks like white or blue ball of fire. - Effects: Electrocutes target. Won't kill them, but it will hurt like hell, especially if they're wet. - Range: 15 feet - Target: Single target - Time: Initial pain lasts 10 seconds, then gradually fades over the course of 45 seconds. One use.
Not saying you have to use these, just giving you an idea of what's reasonable/possible.

This is SO helpful. I was wondering if I was erring on the attacks a bit. I'll look over what you've done and figure out some more attack details and restrictions.
Thank you so much!

I've edited the attacks according to Holy Blasphemy's outline, which was SUPER helpful. (Thanks again! <3)
Also, Holy, I LOVED your eternal attack. It was soooo perfect for what I was thinking. Thank you for helping me execute it properly!
