Caring for cards is extremely important. As with any magical aid, it is important to treat Tarot with a high level of respect and love. Especially if you expect to gain any sort of remotely accurate result from this. As you get to know your cards and build your spiritual connection with them, you'll understand they're more than just pictures on cardboard that are fun to play with sometimes to impress your friends. You'll feel the aura of life emanating from them and they'll become important friends to you, if at all you're handling them correctly.
There are many methods to care for your cards, and etiquette to handling them. Etiquette that especially involves other people! First and foremost: These are your cards connected to you. Do not allow others to handle them outside of readings for them, and only when appropriate. Every time you touch something, you put energy into it. If others are putting their energy into the cards, then it confuses and conflicts them. Remember this!
