Kain flew over the park, remaining invisible, hunting Teresa, the Takota seemed to have turned off their device, but Teresa was now gone, and there were hardly any signs of human impact. Kain saw a group of girls below him in the park, and did one of them have

'Something's wrong here, it's almost as though the Takota were never here, which could not have been possible, they were an ancient organization devoted to getting rid of anyone with inhuman powers.' Kain thought while he drifted through the air, only paying a mite of attention to the radio waves around him.
'If they have some form of magic, and they're out in the open, there's no danger whatsoever.' Kain brought himself into existence, adjusting his primaries to use the thermal drafts and wind currents to keep him aloft and moving forward.
Kain continued on to find someone else who might be able to reunite him with Teresa.
