Venus took a deep breath. "You smell that Shadow? That's the smell of a new region and a new journey." Shadow nodded and purred in agreement. He walked to a lab and spotted a woman with a Pawniard. The woman didn't look happy. "Mam, you look worried. Are you ok?" She explained how the Pawniard was lost and looking for a home. "I'll take him. I think I'll name you Blade." The Pawniard jumped in excitement. Venus took out a pokeball and the Pawniard happily accepted the capture. "Great a new pokemon on my first day here!" The woman turned out to be Professer Juniper. After explaining what Venus was doing here, she handed him a Pokedex to record Pokemon from this region. "Thanks a lot!" With that Venus left for his new journey with his first Pokemon in the Unova region, Pawniard.
