 The Shadowlands, also known as the Shadow Forest and the Nother World, was the the dark ground level of the forests of the planet Kashyyyk. It was dark since the sunlight could not reach it through the tall trees and the rich foliage. The Shadowlands are a dangerous place, inhabited by savage beasts like katarns and terentateks. Wookiees seldom went there (by means of wooden elevators) from their platforms. They visited only for ceremonial reasons, such as rites of passage. Famous Wookiees like Chewbacca would often go there to prove themselves against the forest's strong, natural obstacles. It was also a place of exile. The creation of the Shadowlands may have been due in part to a malfunctioning terraforming machine created by the Rakata Infinite Empire. According to a holo-adapted interface installed by Darth Revan to better access the ancient data, the planet was incapable of sustaining sufficient levels of production and had to be terraformed in order to export produce. According to Jolee Bindo, the dark side energies of the Star Map and the malfunctioning machine may have led to the accelerated evolution of various species, making the Shadowlands extremely dangerous when the Rakata abandoned Kashyyyk. When Revan visited the Shadowlands to find the Star Map for a second time, he found Jolee living in a hut in the depths of the forest. In order for Revan to find the Star Map, he was asked by Jolee to deal with Czerka Corporation employees that were hunting tach glands for use in Tarisian ale. The hunters were displaced when Revan managed to deactivate the sonic field, which they had set up to prevent large predatory animals of the Shadowlands from attacking them. The deactivation resulted in a terentatek rampaging through the camp. Jolee then agreed to shut off a forcefield that the Czerka crews had set up, allowing Revan to access the ancient Star Map. At some point in time before 1 ABY, a large group of battle droids, including B1 battle droids and Droidekas, was abandonded in the Shadowlands below the Rryatt Trail. Later, a group of dark-adapted Gotal hunters and poachers also discovered the dark jungle, built a hunting camp and began exploiting the fierce wildlife.

Energy pool: 240Nar had been living in The Shadowlands for over 5 years, away from any type of civilization, Nar had made a small hut on top of the trees where he would be safe from the stronger animals, Nar had also set up several traps around his hut, in the trees and the ground and only he knew where they were placed at, The Shadowlands were a very dark place to live in, since the sun never reached the ground making it a very humild place with lots of types of plants, Nar would only leave his hut when there was need like making a new trap and placing it, hunting for food, training and sometimes to fight off stupid hunters who would dare to enter his turf.
Nar had been chased out from his village, living now like an exile. His life had not really changed and if it did it would have been to better, he now did not need to hide from the villagers who would always blame him for the bad things that happened, Nar would still train his body dayly still trying to become like his father, maybe he had alredy surpassed his father he would now never be able to know, Nar was not stupid enough to go hunting for the big creatures like a Terentatek, Nar had only one encounter with one, and that was the reason why he had scars all over his body, now every time he saw or heard one he would run for his life or try to go around it. From living in the Shadowlands Nar created some sort of sixth sense making him more agile, he could see better in the dark and his body was fit for a warrior.Force Power Used:

"Every life has its worth, even the most insignificant..."
Keida had come to Kashyyyk in search for electronic components for her equipment. She had heard that it was an export of this world so it was best she got it from the source to possibly save money and find better materials. This was her first time here, so she was a bit lost, but she wasn't going to let the locals notice this. Since this was more of a personal matter than a business matter she only wore her armor and left her helmet somewhere for safe keeping. She didn't focus to much on the faces around her, but she didn't let her guard down to much.
Growing restless and a bit hungry she figured she'd go hunting. Approaching a seemingly seasoned Wookie she asked him about a place to hunt. The Wookie was hesitant as she wasn't from around here and saw her as a weakling given her size. Giving him reassurance that she'd be fine and that she could handle herself her explained to her that she could go down to the shadowlands. Thanking the Wookie she head off and took the lift down to the shadowloands.
A couple hours had passed and Keida was making her way deeper into the Shadowlands. Since she was a Firrerreo the dark surroundings gave her little trouble. As she ventured through the Shadowlands nothing aside from large insects came her way, Keida was partial to eating things with flesh and meat, rather than whatever insect had. Feeling rather restless and a bit disappointed she slowed down and look around at the surroundings. Moving forward as she looked around she noticed something, but just as she started to identify it she heard something snap. Cursing under her breath she was snatched up into the air by a simple net trap. Being hoisted into the air she snarled loudly for being so inattentive and caught in such a trap.
Once the trap settle she looked down wondering how high up she was. Given her height she had no choice, but to wait for the trapper to come along and lower her. As she waited she decided to fiddle with her datapad. Accessing something quickly she finished, then put her datapad away. Staring down she groaned hoping that her stay in this trap won't be very long.

Energy pool: 240Nar had been laying down in his hut high above in the canopy of the trees, even as high as he was he could hardly make out how the weather was, had been there for a couple of hours after he had laid down new traps to see if he could catch some food, he only done the new traps because he was in no mood for hunting, he had heard strange sounds in the jungle and he did not wish to find out what was making the sounds, but as he was laying down a small metal bell rang, there were a total of 15 bells all set up in a different trap it was so he would know where his trap had worked, Nar quickly got up from his leaf bed and jumped down landing in several big leafs, Nar picked up a metal piece that he had gathered from a dead android and sharpened to use as a blade, Nar quickly and smoothly made his way to the trap.
Nar was moving with swift movements around the jungle, the trap was not so far away from his hut so he would make it there quickly, as Nar moved he could already hear the noises coming from the direction of his trap, Nar had his made sword in his hand, Nar now did not move as fast, he was more silent now as he approched the trap, he had a clear vision of what it was, a human. Nar stood up and walked out of the shadows still looking at what had fallen into his trap. "A weird thing to catch in such places, don't you think ?" Nar would ask the captured person, it was a girl from what he could see, a fine girl indeed. "Please give me the reasons why you are here... You don't seem to be a hunter or a villager, so depending on your answer I will let you go, or leave you as a bait for my meal." Nar was mostly interested in keeping his 'turf' safe from unwanted attention, but if the girl meant no harm he would be more than happy to let her go.Force Power Used:

Keida looked at the ground again, she was starting to think about cutting herself down just in case no one came. She could just let herself fall down and hope that she wouldn't die from the fall and just let let her body heal for a moment before leaving, but then she'd be defenseless once she hit the ground. Looking at the tree the rope was dangling from she began concocting an idea, but this idea was lost when she heard something rustling near by. Putting up her guard she placed her hand on her vibrostaff so she'd be at the ready to defend herself if she needed to.
Keida started to pull out her staff until the source of the sound revealed itself as a man, possibly human, with a makeshift weapon. Dropping her guard a bit she focused in on him to better make out his appearance. When the man asked her a question, which seemed to poke fun at her, she said nothing, but instead glared at him. As he continued by asking her why she was in this area she replied with a hint of sass, "And what about me says that I'm not a hunter? I came here to hunt for food, I found nothing of interest and apparently, stepped into your trap." Keida had nothing more to say from this point, mostly because she liked to keep things to herself unless otherwise necessary.

Energy pool: 240Nar could see that the girl was sort of annoyed by the fact that she had been caught in a trap, she was lucky that this trap was not one that would be fatal like the other ten that Nar had placed around the area where he would normally go hunting, he could also see that she was not very happy at his first comment which made him chuckle a bit, then her answer to his second comment came, Nar would listen carefully to what she had to say, then he would walk around where she was being held and the while he walked he would look at her closely. "You are not a hunter, I know all the hunters around the villagers here... Unless you are a paid hunter from one of those rich fat pigs that can't hunt their own things." Nar then wouls stop looking at her and walk away from where she was at, it looke dlike he was going to leave her there like he had said but he would stop in a near by tree and pick out a rope that was being hiden by some vines, it was the rope holding the girl in the trap, Nar would slowly loosen the rope so the trap wpuld come down in a good pace so she would not be harmed in the process, once she would be down Nar would look at her. "I was really hoping that you would be nothing eatable... This week the hunt has been very weak." Nar did hope that she would be an animal that he could eat, he had been eating vegtables for two days and he needed some meat to sufice his hunger.Force Power Used:

Keida listened to the man as he responded to her admission of being a hunter. As he ended his statement, but stating that she was working for "rich fat pigs" she hissed. "I'd never work for a Hutt if that's what you're implying! Yes, I'm a bounty hunter, but I have standards and principles. I am here on my own accord." When the man seem to be leaving her she only watched him, she wasn't going to put up a fuss when she could probably figure out a way to get herself down.
As the man stopped in a near by tree she watched him to see what he was doing. When the trap began to slowly descend Keida sighed, she didn't like the idea of trying to get down herself. As she touched the ground she stood up and approached the man. Combing out the debris from her black and violet hair she said to the man, "I think you'd rather I was something eatable. If the hunt has been weak then I'm sure you'd like something fleshy to eat yourself." Putting her hand on her hip she looked at him wondering what the he'd say next.
Shaking her head she coughed then said, "Oh and thank you for setting me free. If I could repay you in some way then let me know." Keida hoped he won't have to big of a favor to return to soon.

. . . . "Log Entry #1, I've arrived at Kashyyk via my personal starfighter and I'm here to recover whatever I can find of my former crew's crash site. I will update as the events unfold. Over and out . . ." Enya would click off her log entry system as she leaped from her starfighter and onto the rough ground of the Kashyyk shadowlands. "It's been many years since I've been to this place. I hope it's as peaceful on this planet as it was back then. I wouldn't want any trouble from "them" again." As Enya stepped into the dense thickness of the forest, she thought about how a Sith fighter boarded her ship and killed her crew before bring her ship to the woodlands here on Kashyyk . . . .
. . . . Codename Enigma; that was her name. She was one of the best out there and now she was nothing. She had the skills of a top notch Bounty Hunter, but she lacked the equipment necessary to take anything down like she used to be able to. If she still had her partner, the rest of her crew, or at least her favorite weapons, she would be able to be like she was in the past. She thought about how only she and her partner survived the crash landing on this planet. After they thought they got away from the Sith, her partner created a distraction in which he was killed, but drew the attention away from the Sith enough to let her escape. She loved that man, but it didn't matter now. He was gone and she was now making a name for herself once again, but without him at her side this time . . . .
. . . . "Continuing from previous entry... I'm nearing the crash site. It's just beyond a clearing, but I've noticed some noise coming from a spot nearby. I checked it out and noticed two individuals. One male and one female from the looks of it. I can't make out any details of the two, but they seem to be taking their leisure. I don't want to get out in the open with any possible dangers so I'm going to scout them out. Over and out..." Enya clicked off her log entry system and then crept through the trees. She had noticed these two only a moment ago and was checking to see if they were possibly hostiles or not. As she neared closer to inspect them, she stepped on a fallen branch and it cracked under her weight. She quickly swiveled her position to be hiding behind a tree, completely out of their line of sight. She lifted her blaster carbine up at chest level and prepared herself in case she would have to fight. She messed up and she was hating herself for it quite a bit right now . . . .

Energy pool: 240Nar looked towards the girl who looked like she indeed have principles but Nar could not trust her fully since they just met and since she was a bounty hunter, the village could have paid her to come and kill him, so he would stay alert near her. "Repay you say ? Well I am low on meat, maybe you could you know....... Go hunting." Nar would say with a smirk on his face. "If you still want some food you would hunt anyway but now you would hunt for both of us....I could help if you are too afraid to venture alone into the dark woods." Nar would say then make a motion with his arms like he was introducing her to the Shadow lands, just as Nar done that he heard a twig snap near them, Nar quickly took a strong hold onto his make shift blade and looked at the Bounty Hunter. "Go around by that side." Nar would point out towards another way. "We will try to flank whatever is around there... I will go this side." Nar would say in a whisper but loud enought for the woman to hera him Nar would now start moving towards where the sound had come from but from the side trying to flank whatever was hiding.Force Power Used:

Keida leveled her gaze at the man before her for a moment and noticed he was looking at her again. She started to wonder if she should have worn her helmet after all. As the man showed interest in her offer of repayment and suggested she'd hunt for him, she shrugged her shoulders and replied, "Sure why not." As he went on to say more on the matter she felt a bit offended when he offered to help her in the endeavor. Glaring at the man she growled, "I can handle myself just fine thank you. My eyes are well adapted to low light, and although I don't wear any physical scars such as yourself, I have been on the battle field many of times."
As the man seemed to gesture and introduction to the land a twig snapped near by. Keida quickly reached for her vibrostaff and held it at the ready. As the man told her to go around she nodded as she activated the staff and moved in the direction he pointed. As the man moved in closer to the sound Keida kept up pace with him so that they'd reach whatever made the sound around the same time. As they drew closer Keida kept her staff held for a quick downward strike.

Keida drew closer to the origin of the sound, she was getting a bit antsy. Figuring that her weapon was much more capable of taking out a target rather than a makeshift sword she decided to move in instead to keeping up pace with the man. Picking up pace she arrived at the origin of the sound with her moving in a striking motion, but she froze when she seen what made the sound. Instead of it being an creature of some sort it turned out to be someone in Mandalorian armor. Noticing the blaster the Mandalorian had in hand she positioned herself so that none of her vital organs would be hit if they turned out to be hostile. Leveling her gaze she said to the Mandalorian, "I see we wear the same skin, but are you here in search of one of us or another?." Keida tightened her grasp as she awaited a response. She was actually hoping this woman came for her since she would welcome the idea of a good fight. However, at the same time she hope she wasn't, because she left her helmet and this woman was wielding a blaster.

A young farghul bounty hunter who was already very good at what she does. Currently Mei was waiting for a target to come by. ‘When will ya get here I wonder…~’ she thought and grinned a little bit. Her long, slender tail flicked back and forth as she waited for her next target to come stumbling by. She was patient enough to wait, but curiosity was killing her at the moment.
She had never really seen the planet of Kashyyyk before. While she was getting the feel of what the Shadowlands was like, Mei wanted to get to see the wookies as well. She had stowed away on a ship not to long ago to get to Kashyyyk in the first place, but didn’t spend to much time lingering around the ships incase someone got suspicious as to why someone like her was wondering about anyways. ‘Wookies are so big and furry…hm.’ Lost in her thoughts about the walking carpets, Mei almost missed some people wandering about down on the ground.
Her large cat-like ears twitched a little as the sounds of voices trailed up to her. Mei leaned over the edge of the branch too see what was causing the noise, for there were a bunch of creatures that sounded human from a distance. She had one hand close to her blaster just incase it was some kind of ferocious beast, but she could see that they were indeed human. Or at least they weren’t something that would see her as a furry snack…hopefully. ‘Eh? They aren’t wookies.’ she thought as she moved her hand away from her blaster a little, still unsure of them. She could see them clearer than they would probably see her if they bothered to look up.

Syidȯ let out a yell as his shuttle suddenly malfunctioned, the blasted pod crashed into a nearby tree and went into a spiraling plummet. He was separated from his group, but also he was in danger of crash landing. Being jerked around, the shuttle was airborne now as it hurled to the ground. "No...not now!" Syido yelled as he activated his saber, leaping at the hatch with force jump while cleaving the hatch open. He leaped clear of the shuttle before it crashed down below with an explosive thud. The warrior dropped his saber and crashed into the tree, tumbling down to the forestry ground. Though the warrior sith was skilled as he used the force to catch himself on a few branches and slowed his descent. Landing harshly, Syi' let out a groan as he did so. He stood up to survey the area. Dark and foreboding were the words that described the area. Syi' looked around as he checked his wrist device, scanning to see if there was life. "Damn, that hurt... I lost my saber somewhere here too." He said painfully as he began to explore his surroundings, hoping to find his saber as well. OOC: Meep. Capri! The forest was so thick she could barely hear it, but whatever it was, was crashing into just about everything. ‘Did a boulder drop out of the sky?’ she thought as her curiosity got the better of her. Standing up Mei carefully walked down the length of the tree branch all the way to the tree trunk. Bending down and taking out her syntherope Mei tied one end to the tree branch she was on and kept a good hold of the other end. The feline like woman then leapt of the tree branch and lowered herself gently to the ground. Her syntherope was longer than a normal one. She had paid extra for a longer one.
As soon as her feet hit the ground Mei pulled hard on the rope. It came loose after a view good tugs. Winding the rope back up as she walked away from the other people she had been watching, curiosity and her inherited fear of the unknown were washing over her. ‘What if it was a boulder? That wouldn’t be fun….but what if it was a monster! That would be scary!’ as she came up with impossible reasons for the loud noises she had heard she took the extra precaution of activating her “No-show.” Now the monsters in the forest who could detect her wouldn’t know she was there. It was how she had been hopping around the forest without the critters finding her before.
Walking quickly, but quietly through the forest floor Mei kept her ears perked up for any kind of noise that didn’t seem to fit the forest. She stopped walking as she did started to hear branches breaking from overhead. Some leaves and twigs were even starting to fall as well. “Eh?” Mei looked up to see what was causing the noises only to have a metal object collide with her face. “ACK!” Mei was knocked over backwards from the hit and landed on her rear end with a sore nose. “Owie.” the young lady held her nose as she looked at what hit her in the face.
Mei could only stare at the light saber that had fallen out of the trees. At first her fear of Jedi was the only thing on her mind, but then she remembered why she was on Kashyyyk in the first place. ‘Sith use light sabers too…I wonder…’ Her ears were flat against her head as she used one hand to poke the object to make sure it was real. She picked up and stood up, still rubbing her poor nose. ‘Even if this is a Jedi’s saber they should be able to point me in the right direction.’ Mei didn’t like the thought of even being on the same planet as a Jedi but the reward money was just to good. She could swallow her fear for it at any rate.
