[The Black Brood]
The Black Dragonflight (or Black Brood, or just brood) believes firmly that Kage of all kinds are above humans and as such should be the ones looking down on humans rather than the other way around. They have grown sick of watching humans use Kage for their own nefarious purposes and kill them because their religion tells them that they are monsters. With no one truly attempted to finish the job of routing them out, Neltharion and his family began their crusade:
To eradicate all humans that would kill or enslave their Kage brethren or use them for their own purposes with no regard for the Kage.
Some members of the Brood even go so far as to kill those are think themselves above Kage and those Kage that willingly serve humans.
Some members of the Brood even go so far as to kill those are think themselves above Kage and those Kage that willingly serve humans.
This is a group of Kage who have banded together through a mutual goal. They are in no way peaceful to one another and bloodshed within the Brood is commonplace. Murder within the Brood is dealt with swiftly though and mercy is non-existent.
They have several enemies already, one of which is the Triune, a darker sect that had broken off from the Neverlin Mages. It is believed by Neltharion that they are the ones who brought his soul into the world and forced it into the body of an elder hell Kage. Whether his is true of not is up in the air, but few would question Neltharion.
While the Triune is a large threat to them and kage-kind, they are viewed as a personal vendetta to Neltharion and therefore not a high priority as they only use Kage, not kill. Their lack of respect and blantant use of Kage for their own means though earns them a place on the brood's kill-list.
• The black flight will free kage that have been forced into slavery by the Triune, but in return they expect them to join the flight.
• The black flight either kill or abduct any Triune. If abducted, they are used as feeding slaves for the flight until they die. Then they become just a meal.
The second is a village that was built after the fall of the Red Kingdom. This is called the 'Bastion' to the black flight. They still believe that Kage are abominations in the world and need to be eradicated. As they will not submit to Kage and would rather see them dead, they are a high priority on the kill-list of the black flight.
• The black flight will attempt to rescue Kage being brought back to be killed. They will never venture into the village by themselves and to do so would be suicide.
• The black flight will abduct villagers that venture outside of the safety of their walls, even children, and use them as slaves to feed off of should they not submit to the rule of the Kage.
Then there are just Kage themselves. These are the Kage that wish for humans to rule either above them or with them. They are considered weak blood and are not fit to even be called Kage. They are typically referred to as either slaves or hounds of humans by the brood.
• These Kage are usually killed on sight, but it's up to the Kage that meets them if they are or not.
* While there is always the tension between Priestly and Hell Kage, they do not go outright and hunt Priestly for the sake of hunting. They have their own agenda and worries. They leave the Priestly to the rogue Hell Kage to deal with. This is not saying you cannot fight a Priestly, but as a whole, the holier Kage are not really on their hit-list.
