Jedi High Temple The Jedi Temple (also known as the Palace of the Jedi) was the headquarters of the Jedi Order from the conclusion of the Great Sith War to the Great Jedi Purge and during that time was home to its major training, bureaucratic and dormitory facilities. Jointly operated by the Order and the Galactic Republic, the Temple was sealed to all but the Jedi and their allies, with very few public areas. The complex would be abandoned and largely destroyed at the time of the Declaration of a New Order when the Order was utterly routed by the Galactic Empire. Upon the rise of the Galactic Alliance, the Temple was rebuilt for the reformed Order under the leadership of Luke Skywalker.

.: | Suzuki | :.✦ 〔 Profile 〕 ✦ 〔 270 - 270 〕 ✦ 〔 Sentinel | Investigator 〕 ✦ 〔 Padawan Rank 〕 ✦ 〔 OOC: ---- 〕 ✦ Leaning against the wall at the base of the many stairs of the Jedi High Temple was a young Jedi Padawan with long red hair. She had bright orange eyes and strange marks that went right across her nose. Two light sabers were attached to her belt as she watched people, mostly Jedi come in and out of the Temple. Suzuki was waiting patiently for her cousin to arrive. She had gotten word that he might come visit her, but she didn’t’ exactly no when or where.
For now, waiting outside the Temple seemed to be logical. She was supposed to be there anyways. Waiting to do some training or something with a Master. She was hoping her cousin would realize that and come to the Temple to find her. Of course she knew the Jedi ways, so she knew better than to think to much of it. Then again she was a padawan still, so mistakes were bound to happen. With Suzuki that was all the more true. People often wondered how someone could fall up the steps (instead of down them) until the saw Suzuki trip over her own feet while walking up stairs. That only lead people to wonder how such a clumsy person could even think about being a Jedi in the first place.

Rane Starkiller Padawan-Jedi Guardian-Lightsaber Specialist- Energy Pool: 220/220-Master/Teacher: Rekoa NimbusRane stood on the top of the Temple's steps, taking in the scenery of the sprawling metropolis planet. Vehicles were whisking by, each with their own agendas. Rane took a deep breath in, smelling the air. It had a slight tinge of smoke but by now Rane had become used to the offset of industrialization. At least it kept the place warm. Rane had put away his Jedi robes, and donned his flight jacket and civilian pants. His belt was still on, however, his lightsaber dangling at his side. Many a master told him not to keep his weapon too out in the open, but Rane shook them off. He was proud to be a Jedi, and he would gladly display their symbol no matter what. But Rane watched many a Jedi leave the temple in full Jedi attire, robes and hoods, even Jedi armor. He watched a pair of Jedi glide down the stairs, heading off into the city. But something caught his eye. Down further, toward the bottom of the stairs, Rane could see a bright red of someone's hair. It appeared to be a lady, who had stumbled on her way up. Rane could only begin to remember himself stumbling along these steps, at awe of the massive size of the temple. That was the first time he arrived at the Jedi, though. He could only guess why the woman fell herself. Rane trotted down the steps, one step at a time, just quickly, and arrived at the lady. He extended his hand out to her and put on a friendly smile, "You're not the first one to fall on these steps, but you may have just met the man to accomplish that feat."

.: | Suzuki | :.✦ 〔 Profile 〕 ✦ 〔 270 - 270 〕 ✦ 〔 Sentinel | Investigator 〕 ✦ 〔 Padawan Rank 〕 ✦ 〔 OOC: ---- 〕 ✦ As regained her balance a bit, she looked back up to see that there was a hand out in front of her. Looking further up she saw that it was a man that was talking to her. At first glance he didn’t look at all like a Jedi. In fact Suzuki opened her mouth to say something about citizens not being allowed to go in there, but something shiny at his belt caught her attention. It was a light saber, not unlike the ones she had really. “Oh?” She blinked a little confused as to what he was saying. “Did you trip over your feet too?” her silly question was accompanied by a equally silly smile on her face.
She took his hand at any rate. “I’m a little bit of a klutz. Sorry if I worried you.” Suzuki said her smile turning into a more sheepish one. Even though she could tell he was a Jedi by the fact that he had a light saber Suzuki was unsure of who he was exactly. He didn’t look like a Master and he wasn’t wearing anything other than a belt that showed that he was a Jedi. She hadn’t been on the planet for very long and barely knew anyone. She didn’t want to make a mistake right off the bat and misaddress the person in front of her.

Rane Starkiller Padawan-Jedi Guardian-Lightsaber Specialist- Energy Pool: 220/220-Master/Teacher: Rekoa Nimbus"Well just know, that many people who have fallen here, may not have done it as gracious as you." Rane chuckled as the woman in front of her stood up. Her hair was very long and red, she was cute too. He was caught of guard but he snapped back to reality once she offered an apology. Rane smiled friendly again, "Keeping a lady of your stature safe is my job. So, no need to apologize miss..." Rane trailed off. Even though this woman was a Jedi, stated by the obvious lightsabers on her sides, Rane couldn't recall seeing her at the temple much, but Rane would play it cool and collective. Impressing a lady took skill in these circumstances, Excuse me, but I can't seem to recall a name to put to your soft face. If you don't mind me asking, Are you a new padawan here?"

I’ll make you want to take the ‘gracious‘ part back.” she wasn’t kidding. While she could trip up and fall on stairs, Suzuki’s klutziness knew no bounds on flat surfaces. She shook her head a little bit. “You don‘t have to be so formal.” she said with a little shrug. When she realized she hadn’t given him her name yet she looked a little panicked for a second. “Ah! Suzuki. My name is Suzuki.” she said and nodded quickly.
“Yes. I’m a new Padawan here. I came from Naboo.” She put her hands together in front of her and once more put a smile on her face. “I came here to train more formally. There’s only so much I could learn back home.” even though she still had a smile on her face, the thought that it would be a long while before seeing her pretty home planet again made her a little homesick. She shook the thought from her head. “If you don’t mind me asking…” Suzuki took a small pause here. “Who are you?” she asked and looked far more cheerful than she had two seconds ago.

Rane Starkiller Padawan-Jedi Guardian-Lightsaber Specialist- Energy Pool: 220/220-Master/Teacher: Rekoa Nimbus"A pleasure to meet you Padawan Suzuki." Another new padawan, which meant either new competition, or a new friend. He hoped it was the second option. But Rane shrugged off her comment of his formality, "It's good to leave a first impression, no? Only when it's of someone who does not know of their own positives, such as their ability to fumble yet keep a gracious air about them." Rane smiled but soon fumbled himself when she asked for his name. How could he have not introduced himself? Rane bowed, "Rane Starkiller, Padawan and student to Master Nimbus. And currently taking in the view," The padawan rose and tugged at his jacket, "Which is the reason for the non-Jedi attire which I wear right now." Rane decided he could make small-talk, not his strong-point but he could attempt it, "I hear Naboo is a wonderful place, very pristine I am guessing. Must have been a wonderful place to grow up."

She was good at making jokes about herself and she didn’t mind if someone saw her as annoying or something. Plus all the talk about her having a gracious air was threatening to make her blush. Her eyes seemed to light up at the mention of Master Nimbus. She had never met that Master before, but had of course heard of her. “It’s nice to meet you Padawn Rane.” she said with a bow to him as well.
Her orange eyes only seemed to get brighter as her home planet became the topic. “It’s a very pretty place. It’s very different from Coruscant. I don't mean to be rude, but Coruscant is a very dusty place compared to Naboo.” Suzuki looked around the area. It was very different from Naboo. Suzuki was sure the flowers were starting to bloom in the fields by now. She was still getting used to Coruscant, but didn't worry to much about it. “My cousin and myself used to go exploring everywhere back home.” she looked back at Rane now. “Where are you from?” she asked, tilting her head a little as ended her question.

Rane Starkiller Padawan-Jedi Guardian-Lightsaber Specialist- Energy Pool: 220/220-Master/Teacher: Rekoa NimbusRane chuckled, "Coruscant isn't my home. It's a sanctuary mostly." Rane looked around and sniffed the air. Tinged with the smell of industrialization, If you can call a hazardous ecosystem a sanctuary." Rane sat down on the steps to the temple, even gestured for Suzuki to sit if she liked to. He stared off in the distance, Correllia is my home. It was rural in my town, quiet, humble. Most of all a gorgeous sight, the best view I have ever seen." His eyes gave away that he began to daydream about home, its coziness, compared to Coruscant's sprawling metropolis. Rane snapped out of it, remembering he was with company. He cleared his throat, "Naboo sounds gorgeous. I would like to visit, to see the people. As long as they all looked as gracious as you tripping everywhere." Rane put on a warm smile, showing he only jested.

Listening to him speak of his home planet, Correllia. “It sounds like Naboo. There were places like that as well. I lived kind of on the outskirts of the capital on Naboo. It wasn’t rural, but it wasn’t a city life either. Although we did go to the city often.” she said. “Correllia sounds beautiful too. I would love to visit there someday as well. I wonder what kind of adventures I could have there.” the old spark of adventure that she would feel as a kid seemed to come back to life at the thought of a new planet to visit.
“Of course as a Jedi I suppose that’s a far off idea.” Suzuki knew that her duties as a Jedi came above everything else. “Maybe the adventures as a Jedi will be just as exciting.” she looked at Rane with a friendly smile. “How long have you been here? On Coruscant I mean? You seem pretty used too it.”

Rane Starkiller Padawan-Jedi Guardian-Lightsaber Specialist- Energy Pool: 220/220-Master/Teacher: Rekoa Nimbus"Ever since I was four, I've been a Jedi, training. And I turned twenty-one a couple of months ago," Rane sighed, "I've been on Coruscant for about seventeen years. The planet isn't so bad, once you get past the people and the heights. It's no Correllia or Naboo, however." Rane looked at Suzuki, who now sat beside him. He smiled at her comment of adventures. She seemed like a kid, her young features overwhelming her force signature of her real age, "A Jedi's life is thrilling. A temple life is a drag. I haven't been able to even find a decent fight or a way to get in trouble in this place." Well he did have one idea of a thrill ride, but that may involve him hijacking the star-fighter he owned, which was locked down, due to padawans not being able to 'own' a space worthy vehicle, "Unless you can find a way to sneak away into the city where the Masters can't sense you through the force, you'll be sitting inside. Reading may be your only true 'adventure' you have." He smirked at the true strictness of the Jedi.

.: | Suzuki | :.✦ 〔 Profile 〕 ✦ 〔 270 - 270 〕 ✦ 〔 Sentinel | Investigator 〕 ✦ 〔 Padawan Rank 〕 ✦ 〔 OOC: ---- 〕 ✦ Suzuki listened quietly as Rane spoke. She knew that most people started at very young ages to study the Jedi way, but she didn’t think it was that young. “I was around ten years old when I started training. I mostly trained on my own though. There aren’t many Jedi on Naboo. At least not anymore…That was nine years ago when I started training.” she trailed off a little bit before continuing. “I like to find the brighter side of things. Although it might be boring to you, it might be better for me to stay indoors in one place. I can’t tell you how many things I have broken over the years. Vases, pots, windows, a few bones maybe…not mine though. I‘ve dropped some heavy things on other people‘s feet before.” she left out her light sabers in the list. She hadn’t broken her sabers a lot, but it happened once or twice. “It was all on accident though. I’m just a klutz.” she sighed a little bit and looked over her shoulder at the temple.
“Just being in front of the Temple is exciting though. Then again I just got here a few days ago.” Suzuki looked back at Rane. “You remind me of my cousin. He’s really adventurous like you as well. I might like some adventures every now and then, but I don’t like to take big risks.” Suzuki had almost always been the voice of reason for her cousin when it came to down right dangerous and/or stupid ideas. Since she was force sensitive she could tell if a place was dangerous. She could also get vague memories from items like rocks in caves. If the memories were bad then she could try and drag her cousin away. Being part Kiffar had a lot of ups and downs.

Rane Starkiller Padawan-Jedi Guardian-Lightsaber Specialist- Energy Pool: 220/220-Master/Teacher: Rekoa NimbusRane laughed out-loud, "Never pictured a Jedi with the gift of bad feelings could turn out to be so gracious." His laugh became a chuckle as it trailed off. He coughed once, "You know, I'm pretty sure there are many things about you that many people pay more attention to than your clumsiness." Rane smiled at the girl but he went back to looking at the orange Coruscant sky. He reached into his jacket opening, near his neck, and produced a small pendant tied to a string. It was hooked around his neck, and it was silver, and only etched with small waves. "I wasn't as adventurous back on Correllia than I am now. Only when I realized I was on a one way road, not going anywhere as a padawan did I try to find something to pass the time before my inevitable boot out of the Order. But that never came. Master Nimbus changed that." He trailed off, thinking back to five years ago, when Master Nimbus agreed to give him her tutelage. She changed him so much. "So," Rane blurted out while grinning, Let me hear of this cousin that I remind you of, and these so-called, 'crazy adventures you had."

❀It seemed like a normal ship heading towards the Jedi temple, just passing by the sacred place of Jedi, to train in ways unimaginable, unique to any style known to man. A place which has been increasingly wanting to become a tourist site for out of worldly beings to see the slowly departing Jedi Temple, but it was far from departure. So, this ship didn't seem like any out of the ordinary tourist ship...until the sun hit spot on the Galactic symbol for the jedi Republic, the one ship that is able to protect such an important person when traveling. The one person who everyone wishes to have guidance from, the one being who is becoming not the happiest of beings in the galaxy all of the uproar. As the ship began to land slowly, the wind began to pick up around the area, and many Jedi came running out and standing at attention. The doors began to slowly open, and the first being out of the ship, was a few soldiers and then the being that became younger as she aged. A soft hue of light transcended from the ship with each step she took, the strides of a being unknown with strange, powerful qualities that shaped her every essence. This being had on a wool cloak to conceal herself for many bashful beings, but she found nothing wrong with showing her strangely tiny body, or the scale wings hidden underneath the cloak, for their power was far greater than her own. It seemed as though, however, her insect eyes looked awfully tired, and this was the third time she had left the Temple to control the Council that was in an outrage at the moment. Everyone wanted answers, and unfortunately they came to the Grand Master of the temple.
They have all forgotten her power. The power she hides, the power that she does not show in fear of causing great destruction. The Council fears of a power unknown to them, and have told this being thousands of times that they do not trust her and will make her step down, but time and time again she has stood up for the republic and the peace for all beings, and she knows the real intentions of this universe. The Sith will rise soon. They are just waiting for the moment where the Grand master is defeated so that they may rise again. That is the strange being's hypothesis. She will not rest, she will not back down, and she will certainly not give up on anything until she is able to have peace, and finally relax for a few hundred years with...Marcus. the dragon she has fallen in love with. Another issue that she keeps getting bombarded with. All because she accepted the relationships within the Jedi temple and everyone is much happier to be free to like whoever the please, but still keep business within the Temple, the Council feels as if the children will get out of hand and start preforming much more lazily in their jobs, but the Grand master retorted that they already thought that the Jedi were doing a poor job in the first place even before she accepted the relationship rule.
Grasping her head, some soldiers ran over and tried to help her, granting their help and giving her some times to take a breathe for a moment, relaxing her over flooding mind. She wished the issue was already over, but this was life itself. However they didn't help much. She slowly took herself over to the main entrance, but she noticed a very kind face that she has been working with for such a long time. Her Padawan. This eased her mind to know that he has said with her, through thick and thin, through the many hardships and training sessions. And right now, needing his support was this thing right now.❀

It gets to be a hassle sometimes. I get the strangest feelings from objects sometimes. It really throws me off.” she just watched as he pulled out some kind of necklace from his jacket. It looked like a simple little necklace, pretty, but it didn’t look special. She snapped out of her thoughts as he continued to talk.
Letting a small smile cross her face, Suzuki listened to Rane quietly as he spoke about his master. ‘Master Nimbus sounds like a nice person at least.’ she thought. She let out a laugh when he questioned her about the adventures. “I wouldn’t call them crazy.” Suzuki said rubbing the back of her head. “We would just explore caves and such. Maybe get lost in a forest for a little while or bother people in the city.” she couldn’t remember any kind of deadly adventure worth mentioning right off the bat. Something caught her eyes though as it came closer to the Temple. It looked like a ship. “What’s that?” Suzuki pointed to the ship with the Galatic symbol on it.
