and throwing me across the room. Then he broke a can opener and a plate and then pushed my face into broken glass. Then threw me again. Now he is blaming me for the plate and may come and throw me down the stairs. What do I do?

But then he would just do it even more. Couldn't I just slip him something? Being serious. I guess I will just run away instead.

Call 911. Coming from someone who has gone through this sort of thing in her childhood as well, it is worse to take the abuse than anything. Call the police secretly if you have to but he needs to be turned in.

Slipping him something will just get you in trouble. Go to a friend you can trust if you need to but still call 911 and get yourself checked out.

Seriously go to a friends house, preferably one he doesn't know of. Call 911 from there and tell them everything.

If he threw you across the room, immediate grounds for 911, danger to everyone around and himself....seeing that this has been a bit since it was posted, hopefully everything is okay now Rosetta.

Yes, I am being serious. Isn't there anything I could do without calling the cops. Ran out of the house last night but he found me by the tracks and dragged me back.

Honestly I don't think there is. You have to report this if you want it to stop. You really need to get yourself out of that place. Is there any time you could slip out and leave with out him noticing?

I understand being reluctant to call the cops, but if you're being hurt then you should at the very least seek medical attention. Do you have a friend or family member you can trust who can pick you up? I'm guessing you might not have access to a car or might not have a license if you had to leave on foot last night. The important thing is that you take care of yourself. There also might be some hotlines for your area where you can call anonymously to get help. I'm not sure around where you live or if you know any of your neighbors, but try going to one of them if you need to.
If you don't want to report it yourself, maybe a person you trust can help you make the report.

Yes, call 911, or have someone you trust do so. Once the situation is in their hands they will contact DFACS or something akin to it to deal with the siutation. Should they determine him a threat, as they probably would given what he has done so far, they will detain him and most likely find a place for you to stay temporarily. I can't say I know anything just because my dad works at DFACS, but they will be able to help you.
