I was downtown at what is literally the local geek heaven - a store called Hocus Pocus. They have many old and new game systems (from Atari up to PS2 and XBox), and several different tabletop RPG systems.
While I was there, a guy came in, and he and the store owner started talking about a podcast where they read fantasy/horror/sci-fi stories by local authors. ninja So, of course, I join in and find out more.
I've been offered the chance to have one of my stories put in this podcast, and possibly even read someone else's! Naturally, I'm quite quite happy about this. But there's just one itty-bitty little problem...
neutral I need writing prompts. Scene ideas, beginning sentences, stuff like that. Nothing big, just little things to get the creative juices flowing.
ALSO: if a story of mine was featured in this podcast, or if I read either mine or someone else's story, would you listen?

You want story ideas? Never fear, I'm here to save the day! twisted
Leprachauns stole the Statue of Liberty.
Giraffes lick LSD dropped by a zookeeper, and go ballistic. (normally giraffes are kept in fenceless areas, since they won't step down into a trench. I imagine a crazed giraffe wouldn't care that much.)
Xylophonic master musician Hagsingbad Folhoiden ends his career by suddenly ripping his clothes off and screaming that the rabbits are coming to get him. The next day, he doesn't remember any of it, and is confused that he doesn't have a job.
There you go. Knock yourself out!

Gimme a genre, and I give you a million prompts. Er. Not a million. That would take too long to type. sweatdrop
