The gentle melody of the leaves on a tree, whistling their hearts out through the trees. In this forest a symphony is played through the roots of each and every tree. They are without speech but said to be the most skillful musicians ever to exist. This forest is always filled with noise, depending on the situation, the leaves may choose to play a different tune, always with the wind.

“And therefore, since I cannot prove a lover
To entertain these fair well-spoken days
A young man no older than thirty sat upon the soft autumn ground, one which was covered in the veil of the verdant and fragrant leaves which lay beside him. Acting as a sturdy rock, a pillar of his own individuality was a beast larger than life itself. Its back arched around the man in a comforting embrace, eyes closed and breathing diffused within the creature. A few paces behind was a bird just as big perched atop the tree with its wings spread and its beak outstretched towards the sun.

The sound of the forest was especially enchanting on this day. The songs of the fall tended to be beautiful to the point of tears and this was no exception. While the awe inspiring music played the young man was humming to himself watching the leaves drift past him. As they soared past gently they slowly fell making an additional note as the green touched the rest of the foliage.

I am determinèd to prove a villain
And hate the idle pleasures of these days."

A sake (rice wine) jug was strapped to a Prex's waist. This Prex was listening to the melody of the forest. Such a good melody that his weapon strapped to his back wanted to show its truest form and dance.

"A bit patience Haru. Once we get to a good spot, you can dance all you want." He gently told the weapon.

      That's a promise Mel~!

The Prex whom resembles a wolf was visiting the forest to enjoy the songs of the forest, the dance of his weapon and the sake he had picked up someplace.

A illusion of the truest self of his weapon walked beside him that he, the owner can only see. The weapon or girl was quite lively and optimistic. Because of this he was able to bear the life of solitude he trekked.

At any rate, during his little walk, he noticed a young man around his mid-twenties leaning to a black tiger with white strips. And just few steps away was a bird decorated with beautiful lines of feather.

That looks as a good spot Mel. How about we ask that guy to joining us?

"You took the words out of my mouth Haru"

And so, the Prex named Melchsee paced to the man and as he stood before the man.

"May I join you?" He uttered gently with a smileUser Image

"Eh? A customer?" The gentle looking man was no longer humming and in addition seemed to lose all traces of fragility as he stood up from his back rest of a companion. "Get up get up get up Tenebrae! We have a customer!" He muttered aloud to the creature, which purred loudly almost sounding like a roar as it rose from the ground, no hostility leaking from it.

"So I have this great new product. It's called Neurodrive. That's what you are after isn't it? Boss says that it'll knock your socks off, and in fact the first dose is actually free!" Belsith threw his hands in the air and as if like a magician a syringe filled with a strange purple liquid was sitting in the palm of his hand.

The smile that had gradually found its way upon his lips was gone as the man looked to be of the peaceful nature. "You aren't here for Neurodrive are you? aww well. Yeah go ahead and take a seat." The crashing of multiple music notes echoed as he slammed back down onto the ground, leaves brushing back up into the air. Twirling lightly across his fingers was the mysterious veil waiting to be taken.

The Prex was confused and taken aback as the man misunderstood the reason he approached him. Yet, he had composed himself quite quickly.

And he did take note of the product he meant to sell to him or anyone whom came to him.

      Neurodrive, huh?

      You know it Mel?

Nope, this if the first time I've heard or seen it. Might be a new enhancer in the market.

His heterochromatic eyes hidden within the shades of white and light-blue took note of the substance within the syringe.

At any rate, as the man had pointed out that he wasn't a 'costumer' and invited him to take a seat next to him.

"No, I'm just a passing by wanderer whom is a lover for anything alcoholic. Speaking of alcohols, do you want to join me?" Melchsee asked with a wolfish smile, his fangs visible. He unstrapped the string of the sake jug he brought and gently shook the string as the jug hung aloofly in air.

"And of course, entertainment is provided. We have music and a dancer eager to entertain us." Jovially, he added to his earlier statement, gently tapping the nodachi strapped to his back, implying the sword was the dancer.User Image

Belsith's gaze at the person ahead of him was inviting, and as he sat he could only see one thing. The delicious elixir in front of me is so inviting. Vulgate! What is this intoxicating aroma that comes of this. . .thing? A quiet screech was heard from the bird and the strange man smiled. Looking at the sake in front of him he was obviously sweating.

"I'm not a big drinker. . . but I guess I'll partake. My name is Belsith but friends call me Bel. I've never had anything like this before. That jug. . .is this sake? Is it Ginjo-shu or Junmai-shu or Honjozo-shu Or is it. . . Tokubetsu Honjozo-shu . . . that would be a treat!" Belsith was going on for a bit, as he tossed a neurodrive to his new friend. "It'll be a trade! Also, take that only if you absolutely have to. . .it has some mixed effects." Belsith looked like a dog, panting and if you looked close enough you could almost see a tail wagging if he had one. At this point his new friend was pointing at a sword.

"OH YEAH?!? I love dancing! I'll watch that!" Belsith was obviously happy. "By the way friend, what's that name of yours?"

He can hear the soft giggle of Haru reverberating in his mind. And he knew the reason for this was because of the man's, Belsith's, nickname.

It completely rhyme with his own nickname given to him by Haru.

"Looks like you a have a good nose my friend. Yes, this is Tokubetsu Honjozo-shu. It's pretty hard to get." He replied jovially.

Melchsee caught the Neurodrive Bel tossed to him and stored it into the sleeves of his yukata.

"I'll take note of that." Melchsee told his new found friend with a knowing smile. Then as the man asked for his name, "It's Melchsee Zelphyrir. Though, my partner here prefers to call me by Mel. Yes, I know our nicknames rhymes." After introducing himself, he laughed at the last part of his sentence.

He removed the sheath of his nodachi from his back and threw it on the air nonchalantly. A light came from the weapon, turning to a girl whom elegantly landed on the autumn ground with a smile.

"And my name is the Dancer of the Spring Wind. But you may call me Haru." The girl uttered happily.

Her brown eyes went to the Prex with eagerness as she said: "So Mel~ Can I start? Can I~? Can I~?"

Once more, the Prex chuckled and nodded happily at the girl.

With glee, Haru started her dance, perfectly moving to the tune of the forest.

On the other hand, Mel had produced two sake cups, giving one to Bel, he filled Bel's cup then his after putting the jug down on the ground.

"Ah~ Such a good day to drink."User Image

Complacent look on his face, a man dressed in black and crimson garb strolled through the forest, the music whispering through the breeze playing a relaxing accompaniment to the movement of light and shadows in the area. As he walked, the metal pendant at his neck clinked with the rhythm of his steps. This was the perfect place for a daily walk in search of relaxation. Eventually, the verdant eyes of this man caught sight of two people who were sitting and enjoying alcohol, the scent of sake cut through the musk of the forest in the area. His eyes closed and rolled back as he inhaled deeply the inviting aroma of the drink. Such fortune those two had to be here on a perfect day with a perfect drink befitting the scenery.
“That smells quite good, would it happen to be Tokubetsu Honjozo-shu?” The man asked as he approached, an inquisitive yet casual look upon his face revealed a few of his unusually sharp teeth that matched his pointed nails. It was then that he realized he probably should have greeted and introduced himself before suddenly questioning the two before him.
“Ah. I am sorry, I nearly forgot to introduce myself while being distracted by the fragrance of your sake. Hello, my name is Blake.” Said the Ralifin with a chuckle directed at himself.

Belsith stared at his cup and his friend taking the drink in a gulp, squinting and clenching his teeth for a moment then making a loud refreshing "Ah!". A light blush hit his cheeks from the warmth hitting his stomach. The gentle taste of the rice was like water. It's smoothness unlike its brothers.

"This really is the good stuff! Alright I'll have to show you some of my drinks next time friend! Ah. But what brought you to this place today." As he spoke he examined the girl keeping an eye on the weapon. It certainly was a strange one. As if in a trance Bel watched. "Alright Mel this is interesting. But Rhyme~ey buddy let me call you Chsee. You call me Sith!" A light hearted laugh hidden behind a sharp tensing up as another man approached.

"You wouldn't happen to be the customer would you Blake? Master kept mentioning someone." He spun a Neurodrive from thin air into his hands as if another card trick. "It's the only one I have. But you can purchase it from me for a few extol, or services. It's the good stuff. Why not. . .give it a shot? First one is free." He spun the syringe in his hand, not daring to offer his friend's expensive alcohol to his customer.

Melchsee had emptied his cup in one go. The smoothness, the taste. It was near divine in taste. Or maybe it was because he had only tasted mid and low grade sake for most times of his wandering. The Prex shoved this train of thought and concentrated only to Haru's performance and his new-found friend, Bel.

At any rate, he was thankful to the gods for giving him a much sharper senses. As he was able to fully grasp the greatness of the sake.

He refilled Bel's cup then his.

A wolfish grin curved his whitish lips at the words of his friend.

"You better do~! Finding this kind of stuff is hard and if I get another one of these or better, I won't share it to you until you keep your word~!" Half-joking and yet seriously, he replied. But it was more like of a joke due to his jolly expression and voice. "I'm just here to enjoy good sake while listening to good music. But if you won't take that as a good enough answer, Haru was pestering me to come here~"

"But its worth it~" The weapon said while happily dancing in elegance to the tune of the forest.

The almost white-haired Prex nodded at the statement of his partner. His almost hidden eyes of blood red and yellowish gold, the slit irises he possessed keenly observed the man whom sat next to him as he spoke once more. He laughed joyfully to Sith's words and rejoined with: "Fair enough~! We might confuse ourselves later when we're drunk!"

The Prex's eyes glared daggers on the newcomer by habit. Good thing his bangs hid his eyes.

Well, on the other hand, Haru, although wasn't disturbed by this person whom introduced himself as Blake. She was on guard, ready to chop to piece the man if he ever showed hostility to her precious owner.

"As you said, its Tokubetsu Honjozo-shu." He calmly replied as he emptied his cup once more.

Melchsee outwardly didn't show any form of interest to the conversation started by Sith and had his eyes only to his weapon. However, his wolf ears were perked up, listening to the discourse with utmost concentration. User Image

A slight widening of his smile indicated his pleasure at guessing the exact type of sake from some distance away. The owner of the beverage seemed a bit more tense than before, Not exactly an uncommon reaction new people had to first witnessing Blake. The music and smells in the air may have calmed him, but his awareness was still fairly sharp. Entering combat would not be his first choice in a place where every step he made was paired with a faint musical resonance from the leaves or ground. If trouble did arise, Blake felt assured that he could easily bring forth Reinhardt and defend himself. However, before he could say anything more he was questioned about being a customer of some sort.

“Neurodrive... Where have I heard that word again?”
Blake thought to himself as he stared at the metal syringe filled with violet liquid. He began to assume it was a new enhancer or something similar. He placed his hands in the lower pockets of his coat as he admired it's shine for a very brief moment.

“How much?” Blake asked eying the salesman with cunning eyes as he tried to discern if this was a scam or some other form of trickery. He wasn’t exactly rich at the moment, but he might as well see if buying the stuff was even an option.

Mel was quite casual with Bel as they spoke, it was indeed friendship as they continued to speak. However the new man was indeed a nuisance to the two of them. Bel drank the liquor that filled his cup once more and spoke to the stranger.

"Look Blake, I'll give you the first one for free but each additional Neurodrive is gonna cost you 200 extols a pop. They are well worth it, and the ladies will crawl all over you. Master told me that my customer was very interested in the product at hand. I can already tell that you aren't my customer however the more well known this miracle is the better." Bel stood up and walked closer to Blake, with each step his smile was fading into a grimace. Inches away from the man's face he could feel the breath on his face. "Take this one." Neurodrive touched the hands of Blake, a syringe. "Take it, test the product."

Bel backed away, showing his back without any defense as he sat back down next to Mel. "Sorry Chsee! I don't mean to sound so serious but business is business. Let's watch what happens! Be prepared though! Blake! After you take that you'll become a bonified badass. Just don't go all roid rage on me~!"

      Ho~? Interesting.

I guess, I can even agree with you there Mel. But isn't this kinda dangerous? I mean if Sith's words were correct. Then I think this will wreck your drinking and my dancing.

Hmm... You're right. Though, I'm a bit inching to fight right now.

That's rare for you Mel. Normally you would just run away or completely ignore people whose picking a fight with you.

It's the sake Haru but aren't you also giddy to fight also?

The weapon could only giggle softly at these words of her owner. Melchsee's statement was quite true regarding Haru as well with Haru's words about the Prex. The two had been with each other for so long that it felt they were family. They've gone through many things that forged a bond stronger than steel.

And because of these, they knew each other well.

Melchsee's heterochromatic eyes gone to Blake whom hold the syringe Sith had gave him. He was grinning with expectation to what Blake will do. Enough that his sharp fangs were showing.

He had drunk several servings of the sake he acquired without his new found friend knowing. Quite a sly guy he was when it concerns alcohol. But of course, he had the courtesy to refill Bel's cup also.

"Don't worry about it Sith~ Things are getting interesting so I don't mind." He said, laughing with his tail swishing happily.

The Prex motioned to the weapon whom was in her true form to come to him. Of course, Haru complied with vigor and joy, hugging her owner before returning to her weapon form.

"Okay! Blake! You can take the Neurodrive now!" He shouted jovially as one hand held a sake cup while another held the sheath of his nodachi.User Image

Blake watched the relaxed demeanor of the dealer transform from calm and friendly into a very serious expression. His the hand within his pocket became a fist as he was was confronted. When the syringe was thrust into his hand he stared at it once more while listening to the grim words of the one standing before him. The price mentioned price of 200 extols was quite steep for such a small amount of liquid. For something worth that much why was it free this time... The scent of the substance that could ever so faintly pick up now that it was closer reminded Blake of gasoline, hand sanitizer, and permanent markers; strangely distasteful and undesirable yet attractive in its own way. He continued to listen to the speech before speaking or moving his hand holding the syringe.

“If this stuff will make me even more badass than I am already, I should save it for the day I have to take down someone who is more of a badass than me.” He said with a look of exultation as the thought of finding someone like that while he slid the medical apparatus into one of his coat pockets. His gaze was drawn in by the speech of the other one, with the blue hair. His lips became a solid line without emotion as he saw a weapon readied and alert now.

“Why ready a weapon for combat here? You aren’t honestly thinking of attacking some unarmed stranger you just met in the middle of the forest, are you?” Blake said in a frozen tone. His eyes were like blades directed at the one before him, attempting to mercilessly dissect the situation. He wore a facade of icy anger over his mild amusement at the display before him. If combat was to be initiated here surely it may disrupt the salesman’s job, unless of course this customer he spoke of earlier was even stronger than the others here, in which case combat would be a great warm up before seeing what sort of effects neurodrive had on an individual. Open to either situation, aggression or armistice, Blake awaited the response of the Prex.

"Just being cautious if ever you use the Neurodrive. But then again, I'm up for a friendly match if you want to see whose more badass between us." The Prex uttered. His voice wasn't its usual gentle and jovial one. But rather, serious and cold at the end of his words.

He chugged the alcohol of his cup before putting it down gently next to the jug. Melchsee stood up and started to slowly walked to towards the Ralifin. However, he stopped midway and turned half of his body, looking at Belsith.

"And don't finish everything while I fight Sith~" The Prex stated with wolfish grin before turning back towards Blake.

One, two steps more, he stopped completely. The Ralifin was at his striking range. Although, far from the normal range of an sword, it was because of his weapon's length that gave more reach.

"Before we start, I forgot to introduce myself. Melchsee Zelphyrir and this here is Dancer of the Spring Wind or Haru for short." Shaking the sheathed weapon he held with his left, he introduced himself and his partner.

The air around the Prex drastically changed. From its gentle, tranquil and peaceful one to fierce and deadly. Melchsee took his stance; his feet were wide apart with his body slightly slanted towards Blake. His right hand tightly clutched onto the grip of his nodachi but he didn't drew the weapon.

As he was a Iaijustu practitioner. Actually, almost close to being called a master of it.

His eyes of blood red and yellowish gold covered by his bangs intensely gazed onto the person before him. Scrutinizing every movement his opponent makes as he waits for what the Rafilin will do.User Image
