Born on the planet Hoth to a Mandalorian mercenary and a serving girl in one of the underground camp settlements, Araris has not had a easy life, scrapping for his own from a early age he quickly learned how to brave the perils of the frozen planet, and those talents and a affinity for both protection and violence gained him notice from a passing Jedi named Aleo. Aleo took Araris under his wing, but the Jedi's constant attempts to remove emotion and suppress Araris natural urge to wander and hunt became to much for the boy to bear. Taking his former masters favorite black bladed saber, and leaving the Jedi, he wandered for a year, before being discovered in a tavern brawl by the Sith, and joining their order.
