While Applegate City is fairly large, it still has that small town feeling to it. Everybody knows just about everybody else in this city and friendship is very important to the people living there.
Being near the forest but also on the plains, a good number of flying type Pokémon live in this city and work alongside the people there. The city itself isn't really anything special. There are houses and buildings, a Pokémon Center and a Poké Mart. What really stands out are the two buildings situated at the center of the city.
One is the airshow building, where the best pilots gather every month to show their stuff to the crowds. The other is the Applegate City Gym, where trainers go to test their skills against the local gym leader in hopes of earning a badge. Both are big tourist attractions and give the whole place that little extra oomph. Be sure to check them both out, and enjoy your time here in our city!
