Personality:
Torikabuto has a personality reminiscent of one who suffers from a split personality, though with him this isn't the case. A majority of the time, he's quite warm, especially to those whom he calls comrade. However he could almost as simply become quite cold and cruel, though he's not proud of it, he could stick the finger in the wound (figuratively).

╫Background Information╫
Torikabuto was born into an unassuming family in the village hidden in the leaves, a family of civilians. Though never suffering from personal loss, a close childhood friend lost his mother to rogue ninja from another village. Tori didn't was not prepared to understand what his friend was going through at such a young age (9), and began to separate himself from the child, and soon they couldn't even call eachother friends. Tori cloistered himself for days at a time, reading and studying, barely even talking to his parents who were concerned with what was happening with their son. His fragile mind fractured by realizing how terrible the world was so early in life, whether it was an overreaction or not, causing him to find a darkness in his mind. Separating himself from any chance of becoming attached to someone and then losing them. The culmination of his internal struggle manifested one night, he had been sleepwalking alot then. Tori's parents awoke to their son standing over them, unconscious, brandishing a kunai held overhead. They survived, waking him up and averting disaster, but had no other choice but to institutionalize the boy, who was 15 at the time. He was finally released, nearly completely reformed 5 years later. Though to this day he still suffers night terrors, and the cracks in his psyche are still visible through moments of coldness of cruelty. He's decided to go trough the ninja academy, albeit at a late age, in order to protect others, and keep them from going through what he went through.
