The addition that Ruby & Sapphire brought of Water/Ground types really made a good combo...

However.

I like Archeops from Pokemon Black&White because it is a Rock/Flying type. It has a s**t-ton of weaknesses. But, it gives it more range in what moves it can learn and more of an offensive STAB if you give it the right attacks.

Also. The Ghost/Fire - Chandelure Or Ghost/Dark Spiritomb which virtually has zero weaknesses due to its strategic typing.

Rayquaza is Dragon/Flying, Reshiram is the only Dragon/Fire

No, and you can check it. The mix of ground and water didn't appear until ruby and saph.

Aerodactyl in gen 1 wasn't considered a mix type until they remade it with fire red and leaf green. mix types didn't start showing up until gen 2, but even then weren't very common as they are in the gens following.

silly child Wooper #194 Water/Ground Gen 2(silver/gold), Aerodactyl #142 been Rock/Flying for over 15years. duel types have been around since the 1st games hell the 1st pokemon bulbasaur is and always been Grass/Poison.

i doubt your gen 1 game will work, most game boy games from that time the internal battier died years ago it happened to my silver. crying
