Seeming to almost flow down the steps leading away from Head of State's tower was the head of State himself: Theseus Voligik. He was a middle aged man at 35 standard years, but won the hearts of most middle aged women by looking much younger and fit then other people his age. His stunning swept back brown hair gave him an air of youth while his deeper, masculine voice gave him an air of wisdom and intelligence that had easily won him the election over his alien competitor. People could always pretend that racism didnt exist, but this was the third human Head of State to be elected. To Theseus....this was how it should be.
As he walked down the steps, his vibrant purple robes stood out against the mob of reporters that suddenly swarmed at his appearance, bombarding the human with question after question in a near inaudible chatter that only an experienced person in the art of Politics and Public Affairs could have handled...and expert that Theseus was.
"Head of State! Head of State! Is their any word on the Naboo Senator stepping down and returning to Naboo? Is her proposal still in the senate?"
Theseus closed his eyes to quite his mind for a moment then opened them and began to speak in a clear and crisp tone, making sure to enunciate each syllable perfectly for the people watching on the Holonet. "She is stepping down in high hopes of being elected Queen on her Home planet. Although I wish she would see her proposal through, the Senate is still voting on the issue at hand." Another reporter began speaking, nearly throwing a microphone in the face of the Head of State.
"Head of State! Head of State! What is your stance on the background checks of all galactic citizens? Isn't this a great attack on the Amendment for Privacy and Security, the very Amendment that you sent forward?"
"It is indeed very controversial, but i think there are a few very dangerous and very powerful people who need to be logged and checked up on to insure the overall security and privacy of the citizens. I can protect your property, but some people have other means of invading your privacy that we cant effectively prosecute or track. "
A Bith Reporter was the next to be able to ask their question, using their higher intellect to look into the Head of States words as well as find the perfect timing for his voice to be heard above all else.
"Head of State Theseus Voligik, by your words, are you referring to these "other means" as the "Force" and these "dangerous people" as the Jedi? havent they been known to be upholders of all the proposals, rules, and laws that the Galactic Senate and the Republic voted and enforced."
Closing his eyes, and grinning slightly, the Head of State began to press through the crowd a little faster, using his hand to motion the 223rd Space Marine Battalion to form a barricade and a perimeter to allow him to pass, and keep the reporters away from him as he approached his chauffeured shuttle. "No more Questions at this time" Instantly the reporters tried to push as forward as they could, but were stopped by the marines who used everything short of blasters to keep the squaking mob away from him. The Head of State had places to go, and people to see. He climbed the entry ramp, followed by his body guard, and disappeared into the shuttle.

It truly was a magnificent sight, it was the latest in architectural design and had always been kept in tip top shape since its creation. The moment Connor stepped out of the Escort car she became surrounded by a group of reporters. They began closing in on her like a pack of lions surrounding its prey. The Queen's guards did their best to keep the reporters at bay as Connor made her way to the door. In the meantime they kept asking question after question. Taking pictures non stop, trying to get the first big scoop. One reporter placed a recorder by the Queen's face asking, "Are you here for the voting? Why did you back out all those years ago?" Connor ignored the people and continued to proceed toward her destination. They were almost at the door. But that didn't keep the reporters from asking more questions, "Is it true you left because you are working with the Sith?" Connor stopped dead in her tracks in turned the reporter. "What kind of question is that? I have never affiliated myself with the Sith. What I do not agree with, are the actions of this proposal. Know if you will excuse me, I have a meeting to attend." The Head of State guards opened the door as Connor entered and head for the main room, the office of Theseus itself. She knocked on the door waiting for a response. ♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕ ……let's make these things a reality!

Theseus had been sitting at his desk working on paperwork, senatorial votes, favors, and pardons of people in the court system. He had been waiting for the knock, and knew that she would be swarmed by the reporters, the reporters he had placed outside to ask questions, and she would have to fight her way through. Once the knock occured, the Head of State poured himself some strong liquor, and nodded to one of the "Pillars of Honor" to check to see if it was indeed the Quenn, then allowed her in.
"Madam, we have been expecting you. Please leave your advisors outside, and submit yourself to a search. These are secure offices, and need to be treated with this Protocol. Then, the Head of State will see you"
Stadning in the entry way was one of the guards that the Head of State had placed on his personal detail. They were waiting for her response in order to allow her in.

It was a basic hand gesture that told her advisors to wait here, and she would be back shortly. Once inside she was searched, the Pillars of Honor searching the non invasive areas for weapons. They found nothing, because honestly Connor didn't plan to kill the man she only wanted to talk. Once cleared, they allowed her to enter the Head of State chamber. Connor slowly walked down the long hall, it seems agonizingly long. The place felt like a final judgment or something. Once Connor was in the presence of the Head of States she gave him a slight bow before waiting for the 'talk'. ♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕♕ ……let's make these things a reality!

The Head of State slowly sipped the liquor he had just poured himself as the Pillar of Honor searched the queen. Once she was allowed into his presence, the Head of State stood up and extended his hand to the queen, offering her a small sign of friendship.
"Queen Quaneram what a pleasure it is to see you! I am excited you have come to coruscant! Have you come to observe the vote? It will be happening soon, and you unfortunately steeped down from being a senator, and the galaxy will be without your young yet wise voice. But please, feel free to speak freely. This are secure chambers, and i have a very good guard here."
