Shelter 17Talk about anything related to Shelter 17 as a Gaian, not a Shelter 17. Give me feedback about it, for instance, what should be changed. Are there any good images you can think of or find to well represent the atmosphere of this? Something I'm thinking about: I will be the echo of what crimes the killer does so that the character and Gaian remain anonymous. Do you think this would work? "Ronald left the bar, blahblahblah, and wobbled off home to catch his favorite Adult Swim recording. He would call his buddy Adam to laugh about it afterward."
"Abigail pushed herself out of the pool and wiped off the toil of a well-executed workout. She'd shower and head to her favorite sushi restaurant why her friend Amy."
"Bart huddled in his dark room staring fervently at the radio. He just knew some announcement would give him a hint that his wife was out there. As soon as he got a direction, he would sneak out of the shelter to bring her to safety. Frustrated from the lack of hope after another hour of worthless news, he grabbed his jacket and decided to talk a walk."
"Donna leaned against the sandbags near the gate. She noticed a guard keeping an eye on her. She just wanted some time alone, but with all this protection it almost felt like Big Brother. Then everyone else would be allowed to resume whatever they were doing.

"Bart fondled the Swiss army knife in his pocket as he contemplated what his fiance might be doing now. I know she's still alive. He shook his head to try to think of something else because he knew he could drive himself crazy with those thoughts."

She tried to continue her stride normally like nothing was going on, but the creepiness of being spotted by that still and unknown figure quickened her pace to get home to her older brother."The killer post might not be all weird like that lol, but you get the jist yeah? I would send a PM to the victim before posting to make sure they were ready to end their life.

I'm contemplating joining as the doctor, but at the moment, I can't decide whether I actually want to join or not. The storyline seems fairly interesting, but something about it just isn't "clicking" with me. I don't know why...

Lieutenant Bubbles I'm contemplating joining as the doctor, but at the moment, I can't decide whether I actually want to join or not. The storyline seems fairly interesting, but something about it just isn't "clicking" with me. I don't know why... Yeah, I know the feeling. I'm sure I'm missing something or putting something together in a way that won't work. See, I'm a fan of those "Trapped" ideas, but I never feel like they're formulated well enough. They're usually: "every1 is trapped in a room. go ashlie sits in a cornr and stares" So when I make a roleplay, the characters are usually trapped in some way, and then there's a horror element to it. The last one I made was a sort of Saw-like feel where several characters woke up in an abandoned apartment building mystically trapped inside with a ghost who was toying with them. This time, these guys aren't trapped so horrifically, but they can't access any place they want to go, and they might not be trapped with their loved ones. Did you get to read my little scenario in this thread? ALSO (sorry, I know I'm saying a lot), do you think the doctor character could work in a roleplay? The doctor character is usually in a game where only the host makes the story. Everyone sits in a circle and chats until the host speaks up, "The killer has chosen! Everyone was enjoying the roasted hot dogs around the fire when BECKY! gets up to go the bathroom, JOHN! goes to the SUV to grab the marshmallows, and ROGER decides to grab some more firewood, leaving Matthew and Jessica alone at the fire." The host would then describe how the killer snuck up and killed whichever victim it was (or how the "doctor" character inadvertantly intervened and saved the character). it's a fun mystery game, but this time, I want a little more depth to it and help writing the tragedy.

And I'm not sure, about the doctor thing. I mean, I can kind of sort of see how it could work, but not necessarily the way it'll happen in the roleplay, what with the way the killings happen and such...
Maybe that's it. Maybe this just isn't the kind of roleplay for forums?

Maybe that's it. Maybe this just isn't the kind of roleplay for forums? Probably. My former guildmates know that I'm prone to make complicated systems for roleplays. This probably won't work, lol.
