Zaeria was hunched near an old, seemingly dead tree, which she used to sharpen her claws. She didn't blend in well with her surroundings, but the vampire wasn't looking to hide. No, she wanted in on this action much more than she'd like to admit. She had animalistic tendencies for which she blamed her father's mother for.
Regardless, she was just waiting for someone to come pick a fight with her. Continuing to sharpen her lengthy claws, the vampire silently dared someone to do just that.Zaeria's Hitpoints: 30

Attacking: Zaeria A small, round black ball rolled to a stop near Zaeria's feet. To the untrained eye and unobservant it would seem to be just that. A round black ball. But if one listened closely they could hear a slight hissing noise. And if one looked close enough they would see the fuse that was attached to the ball was quickly fizzling away. BOOM! HP: 30/30

Attacking: Mines...Of course, Zaeria was prepared for a normal start of a fight and not so much an explosion device being rolled at her feet. She managed to hear the strange noise it was making and jumped up onto the dead tree just high enough out of its reach. Or so she thought. The explosion hit her tail and burned it a bit!
"How dare you!" she seethed, quickly jumping out of the tree and landing on all fours. She couldn't quite tell where the device came from, but the angry vampire did indeed spot a strangely dressed demon-- or so she assumed by its elaborate horn-- and she took aim. She leapt at the vile creature with her claws outstretched, attempting to slice up her pretty face.Zaeria's Hitpoints: 27/30

Mines screeched as claws were raked across her face. Blood trickled down her cheeks as she held a hand over her face. Red eyes glaring between her fingers.
"You'll pay for scratching my face!"
Long claws came out as she launched herself at the Vampire.

Attacking: MinesZaeria held her ground, but barely, as the demon's claws pierced her chest. Fortunately she was able to pull herself away before the wounds were too deep. Still, her blood did stain her pretty white fur.
"Awww, afraid you're only pretty to mommy now, hmm?" she cat-called at her opponent, grinning and showing her fangs. "I can do more than scratch up your pretty face!" she yelled, and then launched herself at the demon once more, attempting to bite her.Zaeria's Hitpoints: 24/30

Mines grit her teeth. "If you MUST know I don't know my mommy. And even if I did I would give two flying ******** about her opinion."
Reaching into a pocket, she pulled out a string of what looked like fire crackers. Only a bit bigger and the powder inside was a bit stronger than usual. Of course, only Mines knew that. She threw them at the Vampire, the fuse crackling before the little capsules exploded one after one.

Attacking: MinesWhat happened next was probably incredibly comical to the demon, but extremely painful to Zaeria. "What the--" she cried as the device was thrown at her, not prepared for this kind of fighting. One by one the little things popped and exploded, singeing her fur and leaving little painful, blistering welts. She danced a bit as they struck her, cursing wildly, words that even her father would be peeved about her using.
"WENCH!" she screamed once the string finally ran out. "Even if you did care and had a happy little demonic family, I swear to you that most of mine would screw that all up for you! Vile beings such as yourself just get in the damn way!" Zaeria ran forward, both sets of claws aimed at the demon's shoulders, in an attempt to pin her down if not but a moment.Zaeria's Hitpoints: 18/30

She winced as claws sunk into her flesh. Eyes burning with rage as she stared the Vampire down.
"MY kind is in the way?! Who's disgusting?! At least I don't drink blood like some mosquito just waiting to be squashed by the proverbial hand!" Reaching up, she moved to rake her claws down Zaeria's body.

Attacking: MinesThe demon's claws did indeed slice up a good portion of Zaeria's sides. Again blood stained her pretty white fur, though this time draining a bit faster than a mere trickle. The vampire cried out, sounding like a crazed animal, as the pain washed over her.
"We may drink the blood of others, but we don't tear into our food as most of your kind would simply for the pleasure!" she spat at the demon, coughing a little as she could feel a good amount of her energy draining. With another go, this time she aimed her fangs at her opponent's shoulder in an attempt to bite down hard.Zaeria's Hitpoints: 12/30

"No, you just leave rotting, bloodless corpses in your wake." The coppery smell of blood filled her nose as teeth sunk into her shoulder. It wasn't too hard of a bite but it was enough to cause her to wince slightly.
Balling up a fist, she pounded it against Zaeria's head over and over. Trying to dislodge her from her shoulder.

Attacking: MinesThe blows to her head left Zaeria's vision blurred for a long moment, causing her to flail a bit in the demon's direction. She had to release her hold on the other's shoulder, backing away just enough to speak "Had you any clue," she snarled while feeling slightly dizzy from the head trauma, "you might have realized we want most of our food to stay alive! It doesn't take much to feed, and we need reassurance that it'll be there." And that was all she could manage before she realized explaining herself wasn't going to make a difference to this demon. Plus, it was using up valuable energy.
Zaeria lifted her paws again, aiming one at the demon's face and one at her shoulder, attempting to deepen wounds that were already created.Zaeria's Hitpoints: 7/30

"Reassurance? Ha. Sounds to me like your kind creates more coddling than all your collective tits!" More blood trickled down her shoulder, though she brought up her other arm to block her face. If she sustained another attack there she might be blinded. And that was no good.
She whipped her tail around, aiming the bomb strapped to it at Zaeria's face. Upon impact it would explode.

Fleeing!And as the demon would have hoped, the bomb attached to her tail blew up in Zaeria's face, leaving such a searing pain that the vampire had not known before.
There were no words after that. Zaeria knew she had to admit defeat. Of course, she wouldn't actually say so. No, the demon wouldn't get that pleasure. Instead, the vampire used all of her strength to turn her body and slam her spiked tail down between them. She figured this as well as the clearing smoke from the explosion as a distraction used just long enough for the vampire to slip away back into the woods from which she'd come.Zaeria's Hitpoints: 2/30

Victory!
The fight was over. Her last little trick had done the...well trick.
Mines laughed as she clutched her shoulder. Coughing every now and again from the smoke.
