Ooh, I can't wait to see how this class forms out. smile Then maybe I'll use it as a basis for their left-brained polar opposites, who I really oughta come up with a better name for than "phasists." The name really doesn't make too much sense, and really has nothing to do with what they do. >.> I'm open to suggestions.

dont

Wouldn't it be easier to just use an apostrophe?

Physisiaist actually came to mind when I was thinking about doing the opposites, because like you said "phasists" doesn't make much sense. sad

Yes it would have...but you must blame Word for I was cutting and pasting from it to the forum, and Word uses its own symbols sometimes that the forums can't understand. stare Stupid forums...

Oh, yeah. Word always curves its apostrophes. xp

Physisiaist? I'm not sure if I even want to try to pronounce that. eek

Unless that's supposed to say "physicist?"

Physi-si-aist or physi-aist works

A physicist is a scientist who specializes physics. sad

I don't see how "physi" can be on syllable.

Yes, that's the problem I noticed, too. >.>

"fiz-i-ai-st" is the best I could do in breaking it down in phonics.

Well, "st" can't be a syllable on its own (at least not in English), but I think I see what you're getting at. How did you come up with it? Does it have any meaning if you divide it into root words, prefixes and suffixed? (i.e. physicist= physics+ist, meaning one who studies physics)

Perhaps aphanophysicists?

"Aphano-" means invisible or obscure.

I'll keep my ideas on this post, and just keep editing it. xp

Arch-: extreme
Aristo-: best
-ator: one who

Maybe on the next page of this thread you should start writing up the class.
