I absolutely adore reading. It distracts me from current worries. Right now I'm finishing up Mockingjay. I just wanted to know, what books are other people reading? & what are some of your favorites?
My favorites would have to be: Kissed By An Angel The Mortal Instruments Series The Infernal Devices Series The Truth About Forever
orrrrr... If you can't think up any specific books; Who are your favorite authors?
Me? Sarah Dessen Cassandra Clare C:

Well... The Mortal Instruments Series is really good. You might like that... Here's the background information on it:
Quote: When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder—much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It’s hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing—not even a smear of blood—to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
This is Clary’s first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It’s also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace’s world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know...

I don't really have a particular favorite author but I've read A LOT of books. And in my new job I have A LOT of spare time so I've started to read more. Some past titles I've read that I'd recommend people to check out are:
Bartimaeus Trilogy Neverwhere The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy (although I've yet to read the 3rd and final book) The Southern Vampire Mysteries (These are the books that True Blood is based off of) Pride And Prejudice (one of my favorites) Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (Awesome~!) Lucas (It's one of my favorite books since high school) Supernaturalists The Artemis Fowl Series
There are definitely many more that I can't remember off of the top of my head. I'll update more later or PM me if you'd like some more recommendations~!

What is Lucas about? & I've heard about The Artemis Fowl Series, but could you tell me more about it? C: Pride and Prejudice is definitely not for everyone. The style in which it was written in can be a little confusing. Which is why you should read the story with the translated notes on the side to give you a better idea as to what is going on. But I highly recommend it.
"Lucas is a 2002 novel by Kevin Brooks about a teenager named Cait who lives on an isolated island off the coast of England and befriends outsider Lucas, eventually falling in love with him only to see the island's prejudices come to life." (from wikipedia)
"Artemis Fowl is a series of eight science fantasy novels written by the Irish author Eoin Colfer, starring teenage criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl II. Colfer summed up the series as: "Die Hard with fairies."[2]" (wikipedia as well)
Let me know if you need more info on them~
