Kingdom of Carmine:
Carmine is a Kingdom forged from the strong resolve and ideals of a single man. 5 years ago he lead a group of soldiers to defeat a Grand Drake that was breathing death down the country-side. It was his courage and leadership that eventually lead to the downfall of the beast, and since the final hit came from him it's power was forced upon him. As well as its consequence. After this the people of the land pushed to make him king even at his young age, and seeing that his land needed a ruler he accepted the throne. The people worked tirelessly to build a castle for their king, but he never once complained as he saw his Kingdom in the making.
The kingdom has become one of the supreme military powers in the world, and through trading and research they have learned the advanced arts of swordsmanship and sorcery. As they became a powerful country other smaller Kingdoms began to take notice and took on Carmine's banner. But as his Kingdom expanded the king began to feel the burden of his consequence. Soon a queen was chosen for him and the two fell in love, but his consequence began to wear on the couple. Even though she begged and pleaded he would tell her nothing of what was wrong with him.
Even to this day the nature of what plagues him is kept a secret, but his anxiety and mental stress seem to be reaching their limits.
King and Queen:
Names: King Wilhelm Grimoire and Queen Vanessa Grimoire
Ages: 26 and 23
Weapons: Drake's Dogma(Two Handed Sword), and Camalia Rose(Magic Fan): After killing the dragon Wilhelm was elected to rule the Kingdom of Carmine. Two years after becoming a king Vanessa was chose to be his bride. Though they fell in love far before being chosen. She was his second in command and they spent a lot of time together. It was only a matter of time before the two became close. But as the queen worries for her husband and his ailment the two are becoming distant.
Wilhelm's Power: Wisdom and Enhanced Strength.
Wilhelm's Consequence: "It is every rulers fear to know they end of his reign approaches and there is no way to stop its march". He is plagued with visions of his own death, and as his death draws closer and closer he becomes paranoid. No mater what he tries he cannot seem to change his tragic fate.

Kingdom of Masario:
This kingdom has a close relationship with the Carmine. Masario is a alchemist kingdom that functions on a very advanced for of alchemy than the rest of the world knows. For this they are always in a search for minerals and other resources. Since they have used up their own lands they trade with Carmine and the Kusokai for theirs. As a matriarchy their queens have always been great alchemists, and the current queen, Leona von Xinia III, is known to be especially gifted since she defeated the Griffin and stole its power. She was granted the ability of foresight, but her visual sight was stolen from her.
Her kingdom is a peaceful one that only concentrates on experiments and falls under the protection of the Kingdom of Carmine. They do however create weapons and other goods for the Carmine. This is another reason that the two kingdoms are so close as they rely on each other to stay protected.
Queen:
Name: Leona von Xinia III
Age: 28
Weapons: The world around her.
History: At a young age Leona was taught everything that her family had compiled on Alchemy, but unlike some queens that came before her she absorbed all of it quickly. Before the age of sixteen she had already mastered concepts that previous queens didn't learn until their thirties. When she was twenty-one she was creating and mastering her own experiments and concepts thus changing they way alchemy worked in her kingdom. She made everything more efficient, and because of it her country flourished.
Around that time the seal that kept the beasts at bay was broken. Before she knew it a Griffin had stole its way into the castle sensing the deep magic it held within. Leona putting her people first didn't hesitate to kill the beast and accept whatever consequence it held for her. As her vision faded away she didn't show a speck of fear. She simply smiled at the group of people she just saved. Using her feel of the elements around her she can feel her path. The Griffin filled her with a deep magic power that amplified her alchemy to new heights. If it was any question that she was the right queen for the kingdom any doubts were squashed that day.
Power: Mastery over Magic and Foresight of the fates of people she touches.
Consequence: "Dreaming of the future will make you blind to the present." With her power of foresight her view of the present was stolen from her leaving her blind.

Kingdom of Kusokai:
This kingdom is ruled by two twin siblings. As brother and sister they rule their lands from their floating castle, 9 years ago they killed the eight headed serpent Yamata no Orochi both slicing off 4 of its heads. As a reward they both cannot age and were granted the united mind like the serpent with its immense power, but as a price neither can have children. As one of the first people to slay a beast most wonder why they didn't conquer the rest of the continent while they had the chance.
But it is a promise to their parents that they would not become tyrants that keeps them from going to war with their surrounding countries. Still there are some in the kingdom that wish that they had more assertive rulers. But the twins are not above killing traitors so such talk is kept far from from these siblings. Their kingdom specializes in machines that run on ether, a magic power source that has many uses. The best of their technology is kept from the other countries. And with the threat of releasing their war machines looming over head countries usually decide against going to war with them.
King and Queen:
Names: Kanno and Yasaka Kusokai
Ages: Both are 26 but appear to be 17.
Weapons: Blade christened Yamato after it was used on Orochi. Her bare hands and legs.
History: At an extremely young age these two were bred to be warriors. Training them both in separate martial arts. The boy learned the delicate art if swords play to compliment is innate strength. And the girl learned brute force and grew in power through intense training that turned her body into a weapon. The two learned then to fight together as one destructive force. Infusing their weapons with ether, and learning to master ether in their own bodies the two became armies in their own right. But their parents always told them to be kind to others. But never to take disrespect.
When the seal was broken the two couldn't wait to show off what they had learned. Their parents sent them off to assist the weaker countries in securing their borders, and that was when they ran into the Yamato no Orochi. The serpent stared them down fangs barred, but the two simply snapped into fighting stance. The snake towered over them the size of a large building but still the two didn't budge. In anger the snake lashed out at them, and in a flashed to two decapitated the beast as its blood shot into the air falling on both of them like rain as Kanno sheathed his blade and Yasaka stretched. But something was off between them. Their thoughts were combined.
When they returned to the castle with the gift of the serpent heads their parents looked at them strangely. It had been a two year campaign but the two hadn't aged a day. That was when the court adviser spoke of the bestial contracts.
Power: Endless Youth. Enhanced Strength and agility. Combined Mind.
Consequence: "Extending your own life negates the need of additional life." As they gained endless youth they lost the ability to have children.

Kingdom of Arkasia:
Far to the north where ice weeds out the weak from the strong a powerful queen rules with her king. Queen Dia Artes and King Leo Artes have kept their borders closed to everyone but a a few smaller countries surrounding their country for five years now. Ever since the Queen slayed Ice titan and claimed it power and consequence. She gained an indestructible body, but she is now barely able to trust anyone. She ordered a large wall be built around the kingdom. A wall so high and so thick that no one, but who she gave permission to could enter. Today it still stands a wall so fearsome no one has attempted to breach it.
King Leo who assisted her in killing the titan is one of the few people she trusts, but much to him is a mystery. He appears a meek and weak man, but he is far from it. Keeping to himself he doesn't take kindly to people that ask to many questions or go digging around about his personal life. Him and the queen have two children who they both hold dear. They grow up sheltered and have few friends except for the other children that visit the castle from time to time.

Names: Queen Dia and King Leo Artes
Ages: 25 and 29
Weapons: Sword or Spear she always keeps close by respectably names Fenrir and Logenis. A sword given to him by his wife made from the bones of the ice titan. The blade is named Midnight Tundra.
History: Leo was Dia's instructor for the later half of her life. He taught her everything from how to eat properly as a princess to swordplay and battle tactics. He was always surprised he never had trouble keeping her in line since they were so close in age, but the reason behind it was found out when she became queen. She had a crush on him, and when the time came to chose a king she "asked" for him. In all truth she was rather forceful. But it wasn't like he minded it it was rank, and it prevented some other fool from becoming king.
After all he didn't plan on staying a meager teacher his entire life. After the seal was broken but it was a few years after that when the Ice Titan finally came to try and make the kingdom of Arkasia his new home. In the Kingdom of Arkasia they had learned to forged the sturdiest sword and armor, and Dia laughed at the challenge. Claiming that such a beast was no match for Arkasian steel she headed out with a small group of soldier and Leo. It was a long battle whittling down on the Titan, but eventually Dia was able to land the killing blow.
She felt sturdier and stronger than before. And that is when Leo reminded her of her studies. "Every beast comes with a power and a consequence." She was full of pride. And she cared not for the consequences as nothing had happened so far. But Leo knew that eventually something would happen. Soon after the defeat of the titan Dia became suspicious of everything. She built her walls up around her and only people already close to her were allowed in.
Power: Indestructible Body and inhuman strength.
Consequence: "For all the castles and all the power. There is still fear to be had." She finds it hard to trust anyone and like a fortress of ice. Her heart has grown cold.

Kingdom of Raskana:
A kingdom that calls home on a large continent far away from the others. It is ruled by a man who slain three beasts and even now searches out for more. But this has warped his body to a demon-like existence. Many who follow him do so because they fear what he will do to them if they turn against him. Naberius has preformed experiments on himself and others that go far beyond the bounds of morality. And at one time the surrounding countries stood up to him. But in a single night they were destroyed and forced to join his kingdom. No one knows just how he did it and any witnesses are dead or too afraid to speak.
Naberius' brother Abel has also been recorded as defeating a beast, but it is said that the price he paid was his own life. A price that high must have had a great reward, but Naberius had him out of the way and that's all he needed.

Weapons: Unknown
History: Naberius has always been a power hungry child. He always made sure that he had more than his brother, but always blamed it on his father. Because of that Abel hated his father, and that was going to fit into Naberius' plans nicely. He planned and lied his way into getting the seal broken by killing off the other seal keepers. And then he had Abel kill his own father. But per the will the kingdom was to be split between the brothers. Naberius couldn't have that.
With the seals broken the beasts holding untold power were free and waiting to be claimed. And with intense research he had determined the power and consequences of several monsters. Tricking his bother into killing a monster he chose Abel was killed and out of the way. Then he began to kill specific monsters, and finally all was in order for him to slay Uroburos, but after killing him something happened and Naberius hid himself away.

Consequence: Unknown, but it seems to have crippled him.

Kingdom of Agreyus:
The Kingdom of Agreyus was formed by the most intelligent of the beasts. A few years after the seal was broken the queen of the monsters called back all of her minions. She was a queen without a king, but her words still held much power. Her husband was none other than the Grand Eternal Beast Uroburos. When he died many of the beast wanted to declare war on the human world, but the queen knew different. These human's were different than the times long past. They were stronger and smarter than they were during the last bestial war. If her and the rest of her kind were going to survive she needed to gather some human allies. Luckily for her the Kingdom of Raskana was happy to oblige.
Queen:
Names: Queen Verdelet Mainyu
Ages: 468
Weapons: Her body and hexing magic.
History: Long ago when the beasts were at the pinacle of their time Verdelet was the queen of the bestial realm. Her king was a mighty snake beast known as Uroburos, and with his everlasting life and endless knowledge he ruled over the beasts. But soon man became powerful and sealed the beasts away. In their prison the beasts questioned Uroburos' right to lead. He had gotten them sealed away following his orders. Countless monsters challenged him and as time went on his stamina waned. Almost as if saving him one day the seal was broken. Giving up on Uroburos strong beast fled the seal to create their own kingdoms.
But fate would not be so kind to the snake king. Five powerful warriors came into the now unsealed kingdom and defeated the weakened King. Even as Verdelet tried to stop them she too was weakened from fighting off beasts with her king. They wounded her and left with their real prize to return to their king. Verdelet hid herself away and healed taking the time to replenish her strength. It took a few years but she was back to her full power at last. She knew her husband was dead and as queen she would assume the throne. Calling back the beasts that would listen she began to rebuild her fallen race. In their weakened state they needed to find human allies to shelter them in return of power. But as they searched she found something interesting. The slayer of Uroburos.
Power: Seductive and full of magical power. She can force almost anything into doing her bidding. With her powerful curses she can have you wishing she would just kill you.
