To see the edge of death
to be right there
one step away from it
the line is crinkled
rugged
undeniably death
To see the edge of death
to walk on the very edge of death
Is to see how much you matter
I tried to jump
and was pushed back
I had a purpose
Purpose
No, I could never have one
I was a wish
a dream
on the edge of death
and I liked the way death looked
but I have a wishful purpose
Purpose
So I live on
