Appearance Julian is rather short in stature but strong faced and nowhere near twig like. He has healthy meat on his bones, defined into lean athletic muscle.
Intended Faction Imperial Guard – Medical Detachment. While not a physician Julian’s skills make him a competent head medic.
Personality – Loyal, reserved, dependable
Julian above all else ha a strong sense of duty. He places integrity and honesty to his vision of right above all else. It must be noted, however, that his loyalties lie within his own morals and it is difficult for him to augment them to an adjacent plane. Due to this moral construct he is an acting introvert- focused on the senses surrounding him and applying data to his honed algorithm. It is only lucky that this strong skeleton of a personality is buffered by his comfort in servitude. His strong morals are founded with the ideals of helping others and promoting team efforts. To him the rational and the logical reaction to his personal intake of his environment is how it benefits the larger unit. It is important to note that while he focuses on the larger picture he is very set that his actions are based on his own rationale, not one handed to him.
While Julian is a borne leader, he is far more comfortable in the secure lifestyle of ‘somewhere happily in the middle’. Thus his professional choice- not a physician, not a grunt soldier but a medic- aligns with his greater picture. This is due to his more quiet and reserved appearance. He enjoys his introverted stance of outside looking in. He understands humility and enjoys humor. However when it comes to his work or his passion he gains a serious air and motivation to follow him. He is organized and methodical in his approach and will generally succeed at any task he chooses to undertake. This work ethic comes with the natural ability to thrive under pressure.
As a rule, Julian is extremely dependable, especially if consent to a task was coupled with a promise. He likes to be accountable for the actions of him and his team and will often take the blame to spare a fellow teammate. For Julian it isn’t a gallant move but an honest assumption, as he believes himself omnipresent in his work. If there’s a mistake it is due to him not properly training or giving clear directions. Due to his dependable work sense it is easy for him to be stretched thin on his tasks underneath piles of work. When it aligns with his morals it is near impossible for Julian to say ‘no’ when addressed with a problem. It is easy to unwittingly take advantage. This makes for a nasty combination under his assumption of misdemeanors giving the man a healthy guilt complex.
HistoryJulian was born to a proper doctor- Estoné Cailleur and his ailing wife, Morgana Woodrove. He lived quite contentedly in the coastal town of Afron . Concerned only of his mandated studies. A physician father would beget a physician of a son. The boy however, wanted little to do with the pages upon pages filled with the base knowledge of the human body. He cared not for what an arm did but rather what to do with the arm should it be damaged. He was more of a practicum boy especially in the presence of his mother.
From a young age, Morgana had been plagued with weak health- her heart was the wrong size for her tiny frame. She was frail and never strayed far from her father’s side. The family kept her shuddered away for fear of sickness taking her, it wasn’t until Estoné, son of a family friend, took her hand that she was shuttled to a new household. The man was a physician, it was logical he should take the weak girl as his wife. The birth of Julian did not leave her in the best condition, leading to Julian’s young practice of nurse to his mother. As he grew older, the applications of his fathers trade were more exciting to him than the studies. He enlisted young and with little care for his estranged family, offering his minimal expertise to the guard with the promise to learn more.
At his older age, Julian is content with his decision to leave his sheltered family. He finds himself useful and thriving. However he maintains that quiet, reserved exterior in exchange for keeping close watch.
