Just name a game and I'll give you pointers on how to mod it with Hex Editor.

Example - Hex Editing allows you to be add certain items, set skill, god mode and mod that wimpy iron sword you get at the start of the game. Also allows you to change the aspects of gameplay with your character. Going onto RPG's here since that is all that I play. I was a highly involved member with the Nexus Community, but since I have a shat computer, I guess i can help you with the good old games, or a few other that are console based. Like Dragon Age Origins.

If you are looking for saved modded games, or save files in other words. Download a program called Modio - Modding Tuts started Modio and brought the introduction of Modded Saves for - From what I have seen - Xbox 360 Users.

Programs - Hex Workshop and Cygnus - I highly recommend those two, Cygnus is the best for starts since also most of the sites you go to that help teach you the ground bases of Hex Editing Games, Like Resident Evil 3.
