There used to be a whole forum for intros and it got kind of crowded. So, here's just a thread for them! Come in, say hi, let us know your name and stuff. Or come in and welcome the new kids! Too shy? Here let me start you off. My name is Katy. Feel free to call me Zombie. I was one of the first 12 members of cybertek way back when. I'm old. I'm a librarian and a costume seamstress. I'm also writing a book about a dragon and a girl in college. I'm your typical geek and I like to shop thrifty. DIY ethics and punk music make me super happy <3 Here's a link!

I uh... I joined this a long time ago. I don't think I really fall into the subcultures of this guild any more, but I quite enjoy the look of people who do. :> (College took all my money and suddenly I had to look semi-professional and fabuu in order to get myself some sort of job)
I'm kinda artsy and I make things and stuff (Clothes, draws, jewelry, things like that) so I might pop up in the art forum it looks like. :>

I think a lot of us have grown up and don't quite fit into the labels and stereotypes anymore. I'd love to see what you make! I want to introduce myself! xD My name is Janine, but call me Enecko! I can't say I'm one of the originals but I've been here years! I've recently given up the Capin' title of the guild but I'm still going to be around. I'm 22, I'm creative-ish and I collect headphones. I've recently graduated college; I have a degree that says I'm a journalist and a photographer. Don't really know what else to say here... but I'm glad to hear we have new people and see some activity! Feel free to add me here, on Facebook, or Tumblr.

Hey guys, I'm Jinx. I've been around this guild for years, I'm so glad to see it up and running again!!
I haven't lost my gothyness lol. If anything I've just gotten weirder and more gothy. I used to be more rivethead, now I'm just really ******** out there. I've dabbled in a lot of different subcultures, but goth is like my blanket term.
Subcultures I'm interested in: Goth, punk, steampunk, rockabilly/psychobilly, tattoos/body mods, hippie/burner, bdsm, cyber, raver, geek/convention, etc etc etc.
But just cause I've gotten weirder doesn't mean I hold it against peeps for not having purple and teal hair like I do. It doesn't matter what people are in to. It matters if they're nice and if they're not a dumbass. biggrin
Though it certainly helps when I have things in common with people.

Well...I've been in Cybertek for quite a few years now (I think I joined in 2007???).
My name is Shaina, I'm 21 years old, I'm in my last year of college and then going to grad school. I'm a huge gamer/nerd/anime/cosplay enthusiast. As of right now I'm great at props but not very good at all when it comes to sewing. >.<
So yeah! Good to be back after a bit of a break.

I'm currently making Mami's guns from Madoka for a friend and then I'm going to try making a portal gun. That'll be a true test of my skills. I'll hafta post pictures when I'm done. I go to Acen, Ohayocon, Youmacon, and a few littler anime cons around IL. Someday I'll travel to other ones when I have enough money. Which ones do you go to?

I'm currently sewing a Loki!Femme costume. I'm also attempting to make the helmet. It's slow going. I go to Geniricon, Conneticon, Anime Boston and also some smaller local ones. Oh and The Great New England Steampunk Exihibtion.
