To give an example and get the ball rolling...

I did two years of Aikido courtesy of a university campus extracurricular. Time and finances precluded my keeping it up and two left feet meant I was beyond honored with my humble yellow belt even as I trained with my brown and black belt friends.

I have a beloved sword. Yes, beloved...found it an an SCA event and couldn't put it down. The vendor, bless him, didn't make me even when I had to leave the area to get my purse.)

Picked up a Walther PPK airgun model because that's how obsessed I can be with cosplaying Integral Hellsing. Plus beyond the air cartridge it really looks, weighs, feels and handles like the real thing. No-no for conventions though, obviously!

What my friends tease me over is the amount of throwing knives and daggers lying about my house. I tend to find them in unexpected places. xd Not sure how I wound up with them all, to be honest...

I've only shot with the airgun once but would love to again. I've only thrown with the knives once, but here again I'd love another try. No claims to swordsmanship though I do know how to respect the weapon.

I took fencing classes for three years, with my brother. Though we made it through the advanced level for foil, I could never get the feel of right-of-way, so I didn't try competing.

My parents signed me up for kenpo karate in middle school to do something about my people skills, and I reached blue belt in that before we moved. It was a variety of things... I was okay at karate and staff, bad at nun-chucks, and memorably lost (repeatedly) to a 65-year-old woman in wrestling. But needed no training for escaping from strangle holds!

I'm thinking of taking a class in something over summer vacation (guns are out, obviously, but I might be able to find some other weapon).
Naginata would be cool, one of my schools has a club, but I don't know where it's held. confused

Let's see, I own a lot of knives, 2 machetes, 2 rapiers for use in matches, 1 zweihander for matches, longdagger for matches, a compound bow, a .45 p345 Ruger. My family owns another Ruger, a 9mm, 2 .22 rifles, a 12 guage shotgun, a .38 revolver.

I've been meaning to take some shooting classes. I know how to use the weapons of course, but not as well as I'd like.

I've done escrima and tae kwon do. Got to high red, moved to FL just before brownbelt testing.

I do fencing now, SCA style. Been doing that for over a year. It's also where I use my twohander.

...Uh...I mean time to show off what an embarrassing nerd I am.
Yah, that's more like it

Let's start with pride of ownership shall we?
I own a ill constructed cross bow
A flail that I had destroyed attacking a vicious water melon.
A hand and a half long sword
A very sharp and very heavy replica of the "Buster Sword"
And bolt action 22.

I am terribly untrained in all of these devices.

Martial arts and combat training?
Ahem...Boy scouts of America and one season of High school wrestling.
