New voice actors or old?
I really really wish that they had stuck with the old ones. The new voice actors kind of change the way that I see the character's personalities for me...or maybe I'm just insane. And KOS-y sounds less like an android in II.. crying eh, dicuss.

Yeah, I detest the new english voice actors. chaos is the only one I could stand to some degree (I still like his old one better). Jin was decent too, but there isn't really anything to compare to since he only had 2 lines in ep1. Shion on the other hand sounds like a 12-year-old boy with a stuffy nose about 90% of the time. KOS-MOS just sounds off, only about one out of every 10+ lines sounds even slightly android-like. MOMO's voice actress bothered me too, it was much too... perky? That's not quite the right way to describe it but she didn't sound shy and polite like she did in ep 1. Wilhelm's new voice actor, though he only has a few short lines, is probably the worst of all of them (to tell the truth I liked his old english voice actor better than his japanese one).
Then small Albedo sounds about 3 years too old, it doesn't sound like it'd make much of a difference but in pre-teen male characters it really does. It's especially odd when you concider that in the japanese version small Albedo had an exceedingly high-pitched, effeminate voice.
Then there are the bizzare pronounciations! How the hell do you get "Cainin" from "Cannan?" And, a slightly more nit-picky thing but, as was established in the English version of episode 1 the plural of U.R.T.V. is "U.R.T.V." not "U.R.T.V.s"
Oh yeah and how could I forget Helmer's new accent. *cringes*

I don't quite remember..but was there a reason the voice actors were changed?
Oh gosh, I despise KOS-y's new voice... I don't like MOMO's either I liked chaos's first one more, and I haven't yet heard Wilhelm's. Shion's just doesn't sound like her's...yesh, I guess you're right with the little boy description though..oh yes, and Helmer's first one sounded a lot better too
Young Albedo's just made me laugh
In conclusion: They should've definately stuck with the old voices.

I agree so much. I don't mind Shion's though...it kind of reminds me of Yuna, and Yuna had a pretty voice though her Japanese voice actor did a better job then the American voice actor.
And Wilhelm's voice is YUCK, they should of stuck to the Rurouni Kenshin guy that did his voice. Because he sounds more...like "Am I evil? Or am I good? HA! YOU CANT GUESS!" The new guy is just... crying ... "Dude...go away."
KOS-MOS sounds like a cheerleader.... crying
And MOMO sounds like a Kindergartener. And Albedo's little kid voice...made me laugh too.
I like chaos' voice, though they should of stuck to the old one.

LMAO at shojok's comment. Me and a friend thought the same thing about Shion's voice.
I think Chaos' new voice is better for Ep 2 because he is more serious in this one than in part one. That voice is reflecting that (Esp. in the beginning).
I hate this line from MOMO--"Mystical Power, Grant me a Miracle" Me: AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!! *Dies*

I agree with y'all. I like the old ones better, though I can stand some of the new ones. MOMO's will take some time to get used to.I can tell ya that now. Shion's is...meh... KOS-MOS annoys me like MOMO's: To no end. I don't like Wilhelm's new voice much and....chaos.Oh dear.My fav character sounds like...(the only comparison I can think of)...like Tai from Digimon season 2... gonk Though..I can still stand it.I'm actually getting used to it. *nods*
Why couldn't they have just used the old ones?

I can deal with the crappy voices, because Shion's new voice is great and Juli's is GOD. So I'm good.
Even though KOS's is just WRONG.

I agree with about everything that's been said so far. Yeah, I was pretty bothered by MOMO's, chaos's, Helmer's especially, and much of whoever else's voices that's been mentioned already...although I've yet to hear Wilhelm. Is his voice really that bad? I like him, too. I hate to have to be discouraged from that like because he sounds all freakishly bad or somefink.
And does anybody else notice Mary's voice? She sounds less hickish than before? The accent kinda grew on me in Episode 1 and then they went and screwed with that, too. neutral Blahsoof.

Yeah, when I heard Mary's new voice I was like, "No, being surrounded by accent-less people has finally gotten to her!"

Yeah I know it makes me feel like KOS-MOS is now a human instead of an android. Her old VA was very good at creating the perfect android voice. Other than that, I feel the new VA's suit the characters better such as Shion who sounded too old for her age in Ep 1 and MOMO who sounds less whiny now but she could've sounded more like a teenager.

KOS-MOS's old VA was really talented...I mean she can really sound like an android. And she could sound like...well Domonique from the Bouncer. I didn't like Domonique though, but the VA was the same as KOS-y's so it proves that the VA can have a range like that.

Oh yeah I forgot about chaos. Well I thought that in Ep. 2 they were at least 1 year older than Ep. 1 but the official site says they're all the same age so it seems really weird to me the chaos has such a deeper voice now when he's the same age. That voice makes him sound older than 16 and his old voice just made him sound old. Anyways they need to find a better VA for him for Ep. 3.

Rishena Just one thing - They never mispronounced Canaan's name because Canaan is pronounced "Cainin" Rishena has it. "Cainan" is the actual pronounciation of the name--it's Hebrew, so it's allowed to be weird. Canaan is actually the name of the Promised Land given in the Bible--and "Shion" is a variant on Zion, the city of Enoch that was taken up to heaven because the occupants were already pretty closed to perfect. Interesting, hm? Further: I like Shion's new VA. She no longer sounds like a complete bubble-head. MOMO, I don't care about either way. Either voice is fine for her; she certainly sounds older with the new VA. Young Albedo's VA in Episode I was terrible ("telohmeruhs"? Please.). I MUCH prefer his new voice actor--and I don't see how you think he sounds three years old. wink He sounds much older than my nephews, who are--oh--10, 8, and 6 respectively. KOS-MOS I haven't heard enough of to comment on. I'm glad Jin has a new VA simply because, with Crispin Freeman voicing him, Albedo, AND Gaignun in Episode I, it was easy to listen to Jin's two lines and go, "Waaaait a sec..." I adore Freeman's voice acting, esp. w.r.t. to Albedo, but it's very, VERY easy to tell if he's voiced a character. And it goes without saying that all the returning voice actors--Michael Macconnohie, Richard Epcar, Dave Wittenburg, Crispin Freeman, and Brianne Siddall--do a wonderful job. 12 may get you 20, but a part of me still wants to hump Junior's leg. (The rest, less ***** part wants to give him a great big hug.) --CVirus
