-Sorina- Many rumors go around the world, and one about a maiden with such grace and beauty living under the mountain is considered a myth. For no human has ever seen her twice or found her home. It is rumored that she moves her home on purpose to keep her identity hidden and to stay alone. But really, she does not like the idea of a human sneaking into her home when she is not there. Sorina, Youkai of Sorrow. Sorina was just finishing her remodeling of her cave like home. Moving around a mirror and some tables. She sat at one of the smaller tables with a cup of hot water with wilted roses in it. It's not a tea but more of a soup to her. She takes a few sips, watching the cave entrance and the day go by. But even after that, Sorina felt the need to play around the lake. She took off her kimono layer to reveal her more agile outfit. Long blue silk pants with a sleeveless button shirt. She sat at the edge of the water, kicking her feet in and giggling to herself. "I say, the water here never disappointing me. Much more clear than the outside world." She commented.

Maemi Saiseki~ Dull Sword ReporterMaemi was making her way around the mountain. Today she wasn't looking for news, but actually trying to full fill her duties as a swords-tengu, guarding for any sort of intruder upon the mountain. She decided she would walk back up the mountain, finding the need of stroll easy to solve. The tengu pulled out her book , where she scribbled notes and anything worth reporting.
She was an amateur reporter, so this was bound to be nice practice if she found something to do. So, landing and folding her wings back, she turned to walk around the base... Soon she found a cave, and the noise of movement caught the senses of the trained warrior. Looking inside gingerly, she muttered under her breath at how dark it felt, but otherwise walked inside, gingerly and curiously... Maybe there was someone inside?
Maemi continued to walk into the cave of the youkai of sorrow unknowingly...

-Sorina- Sorina took her time to enjoy her dip until something snapped in her brain. She felt an intruder in her home. So without any knowledge of who, she bolted back to the cave entrance and withdrew one of her spell cards in her left hand while holding one of her two curved swords in he right. "Whoever is in there, show yourself!" Her warning echoed in the cave. She was very much a freak on intruders, regardless if they did not mean to. Her home is her sanctuary after all. Besides the near empty cup of water with rose petals, tables and one mirror, her Kimono was laying on the table in the corner. Folded up neatly. Her eyes focusing on the inside, waiting to see who it was.

The young tengu had heard the demand be yelled and with a flurry of panic the girl dove into some buches, though a few black feathers floated by the entrace from her wings moving so suddenly and brushing against her nodachi in such an harsh manner got a few feathers off her wings.
When the youkai came to the front of the cave and she noticed she had left some feathers in the air, she tried to shrink behind her bush, though, with the size of her sword, you may be able to see its hilt peeking out above the bush, even as Maemi was pretty much on her belly trying to hide...

-Sorina- Sorina noticed the sword after the trail of feathers led her to the bush. Of course, she let her blade down as she was not in the mood to even try to fight. "You can come out of the bushes. That sword is way too big to hide." Sorina had to point out the obvious. Her next step was to grab her kimono, placing it over her body once again as she fixed her long flowing hair. "In any case, what brought you near my home?" She waited. Obviously, Sorina have met tengus before, but never cared much about them. Her obvious plan at the moment was to let the 'intruder' talk or leave.

Maemi's face blushed as Sorina pointed out how her sword was simply too big to hide behind a bush. That nodachi caused too much trouble. The tengu peeked out above,'S-sorry,....I was just curious after hearing noise inside...I didn't mean to intrude-"
The tengu stood, revealing her light armor and long black hair,"I am not here to cause trouble- I am just a reporter really-" She remembered her employer telling her her to flash the media emblem if ever in trouble so hopefully that would get her out of trouble.

-Sorina- Sorina sighed. "Of course, another reporter. Care to tell me what other truths you wish to forge from your little mind? I know your kind. Humans lie less than you." Her current mood could be taken for angered, but it was more annoyance. Granted she liked company, but not when it was 'THESE' things flying around. But she played along despite knowing what will happen. "But whatever. What brings you here besides the curiosity of your little bird brain?" Sorina invited the Tengu inside so they may talk in a bit of privacy. "Come in. I promise to not bite."

"What..? LIE?" The proud tengu stepped out," I am a warrior as well, and it would be a dishonor to forge truths that were not meant to exist!" She pounded her chest as she said so.
"I was taking a quick swoop around when I heard noise from inside the cave..." Maemi explained before blinking, and smiling,"Oh, thanks.."She carefully went inside..

-Sorina- Sorina followed in, looking around her cave for a spare cup to heat up and make some tea. "I have to say, the Kappas do know how to make such wondrous devices. It speeds up the water's heat far more than simple fire now. Shall I pour you some tea?" Sorina offered. "Also, forgive my first impression. One tengu left a bad taste in my mouth after meeting her. But you seem quite fine for yourself. I am Sorina, the Youkai of Sorrow. One of three which live and help manage the emotions of humans. Do you have a name by chance?"

"Oh its understandable, we all get a bad rap for the reporter tengu who go making up lies instead of reporting actual news!" Maemi nodded,'Oh Thank you, tea sounds delicious."
"Ah, and I am Maem Kenkaku," she bowed politely,"I am a swordsman tengu from the village in the moutain."

Enter Lumine Mayflower, TroubleAdventuresome Celestial!
~ ~ ~
I had another nightmare last night. It was that same, awful place again, filled with strange buildings made of some shiny material. It looked like metal, but it moved and pulsed like it was alive. This time I found myself trapped in a chasm, its walls lined with small recesses, and each recess held two faces. They were infantile. They looked stillborn. I found a bridge that spanned the chasm, connecting both sides. It was long and ribbed, as if possessing a skeleton concealed within. Veins pulsed along its length, and I could feel it squirming beneath my feet as I attempted to cross. Half way across, I heard a baby crying. It was one of the faces. Soon, they all began to cry. The noise was deafening, and I lost my balance. I fell into the chasm...
A soft wind blew across Lumine's face, breaking her concentration. The leaves rustled in the tree she was sitting in, and broken sunlight danced around her. The blue-haired Celestial yawned and stretched her body, taking care not to lose balance on the branch she straddled. She brushed her bangs from her eyes and returned to her parchment.
Anyway, I also had another vision this morning. A saw something; I think it was a cave, but it looked like someone tried to make it a home. Who would live in a cave? Though, I have heard rumors of a place called "the Underground", so maybe there's some merit to my visions - not that they've mislead me so far. Anyway, I recognized where the cave was. I think it's somewhere near the base of Youkai mountain, the largest mountain here in Gensokyo. It's easy to spot wherever you are, and it didn't take me long to reach it. Now I just need to find that cave!
Lumine spent the better part of the morning searching for this one particular cave. She had come across dozens; some being empty, others being homes to creatures who called themselves "Kappa" - they were quite friendly! She even found one filled with brilliant gemstones, but the home within was vacant. However interesting they all were, none of them matched what she saw in her vision.
After taking time to sketch a Kappa as she tinkered with some small metal object, Lumine soon found herself near the mouth of Sorina's cave, believing it to be just another Kappa dwelling. She peered inside, her eyes still trying to adjust to the darkness within.
"Helloo~ooo? Is anyone in there? Is this another 'Kappa' residence?"

-Sorina- Sorina took the cup with the tengu's tea over to the table. "It is a pleasure to meet you, little Kenkaku." she smiled openly, sitting across from her. "A swordsman sounds different from the rest that I have heard of. glad to see they have more things to do than gossip." Sorina looked over to the entrance, calling out to the person. "There is someone inside. Come on in if you wish while I am here." she openly offered once again. Seemingly not afraid of intruders. But then again, she had swords ready to use at any time. "Have you heard much about I?" Sorina turned to Maem once more.

"Yup! There is some good swordsman, and we got skilled metalligry masters. The reporter stereotype on tengu is really annoying, much more those that say we are some sort of perverted paparazzis." Kenkaku said, taking a seat and sitting from her cup of tea after a small head bow,"Oh, I haven't heard much aside from legends of the Four Youkai of Emotion that are meant to control or keep check on humans. Just know of the legend a tad bit-"
The tengu looked down the cave,"Mh? Another guest?" She wodnered who this girl would be to be in the mountain. No one else was scheduled to be guarding the mountain this eve.

Lumine graciously accepted her invitation, and proceeded to enter through the mouth of the cave. She tilted the brim of her hat back, showing off her bright blue eyes.
"Hi there! Hey, you're not Kappa... Oh!"
She halted before her hosts suddenly, looking around the cave's interior furnishings with vigor. "Hey! This is the place!" She began to wander around Sorina's home, seemingly forgetting the company she shared. Once in an adequate spot, Lumine wrested the dirty backpack from her shoulders and set it on the ground; a sheathed sword of her own, affixed to the backpack with a series of tied ropes, went clink as it touched the cave's floor. She fumbled with a buckle fastening the main pouch before finally opening it, and retrieved her art supplies and a fresh piece of parchment paper from its depths.
Suddenly, she paused all motion for an abnormal amount of time, then turned to look at Sorina and Maemi (it seemed she had finally recalled their presence). "Um, excuse me, would either of you mind if I drew a sketch of this place? Pleeease?"
