Shadow is not a typical saiyan woman. She is the child of the legendary super saiyan Broly. She grew up on planet Yardat, knowing this but never knowing her father or mother. The Yardats had always been very kind to her as the last saiyan that had visited there planet had made a very good impact on them. They taught her many things, increasing her knowledge and crafting skills, including the instant transmission technique. Completely mastering it at the age of seven she could not only pop in and out of any where on the planet she also learned how to use it to make her kicks and punches even stronger.
When Shadow turned eleven a terrible menace rampaged the planet and killed a very close friend of hers. This occurrence caused her to snap and her super saiyan powers to emerge. She tore the creature into shreds, it took six days and nights for her to completely calm down but even when she did her hair did not return to it's natural color and her power she just couldn't keep contained. The Yardats as highly advanced as they were created power limiters for the girl in the form of the eye patch she wears and the tattoo she has adorned on her body, it was literally a living technology it adapted to her strengths and modified how much power she actually put out. With out the two of those Shadow's powers would explode..

With that thought in mind after the limiters were made they showed Shadow how to make the type that they put into her eye patch. It was some time after this that another incident occurred but this time the girl did not go berserk but instead calmly and cleanly finished off her foe.
But something still bothered her, she could still get angry and that scared her. She did not want to harm the people or planet that took such great care for her upbringing. And as such she brought up the idea for her to be cryogenically frozen. The Yardats were against this at first they reasoned that if she felt so unsafe that she should just go to earth, the home of the saiyan that had been on their planet before. Shadow refused and told them that she was unworthy of meeting such a person with her rage so out of check. Again the Yardats told her she had nothing to worry about. It was at this time she began to build a space ship that had that kind of capability in it. She thought that with the coldness of the ice that she would surround her would keep the fires of her anger dulled. And when it was finally finished she got in it at the age of fifteen. After that everything was just a blur. Drifting through space for a countless amount of time, Shadow's ship finally crashed landed on the world of Gaia. This was six years ago. Her ship was found by a very young Andrew, who when attempting to figure out what was in the ship destroyed it and released Shadow from her time frozen prison. But much to the girl's hope that her inner rage would no longer be there, it still lingered. Spending three years time with the boy, after finding out that he was a saiyan, she taught him how to use the instant transmission, and he in return showed her how that even with her anger she could still be happy.{{Corney as all hell..I know but it was all I could think of..}}
The three years spent on her own she gathered up as much of this worlds technological know how to make more of the limiters. These although in working condition are not as powerful as the one that was made for her. She wears one of these instead of the one that was given to her.

Umm maybes? Yardat is an actual planet in the dbz universe, it's where goku ends up after namek blows up....whuld kinda mean that i'm from the same dimension as bobdude and ron..maybe reference thingy link

NEW PLOT TWIST: You sensed the battle between myself and Baby, so you moved in to investigate. You got too close at the climax of the fight, and were sucked in with us. That would cover how you got to Gaia :3
