An interesting dog came on to the scene, she was white with black stripes, most peculiar was of all was her ears and tail. She was bred to resemble a majestic white tiger. Out of all of her brothers and sisters she was the only to gain the tail and ears the breeders were looking for. She wandered around the prep room. Her handler was no where in sight. She shrugged it off, the woman was not her favorite, in fact she didn't mind not seeing her. The woman was without grace and tact and when it came to shows the dog was prepared, but the handler was nervous, but she didn't let it bother her. She always would make it up in elegance what the handler could not in confidence. She stopped and took in her surroundings. She was not in the shows that afternoon, but several others were. She wished them luck as they passed her. Soon enough the prep room was down in numbers. She sat down and looked at the remaining few who's handlers had yet to appear and take them back to their owners or their owners families.
Several different dogs of different breeds and colors remained. Some were awe inspiring others were just the bare minimum of the proper basics. She surveyed the area none so far had made her want to speak with any of them. She sighed and thought to her self Its one of those days again, no one interesting enough to talk to. She gracefully slid down to a comfortable position on the floor and laid her head on her paws. Essentially hoping to shut the world out of her sights until her handler or owner came to get her.
((tried my best to say that she had not made it past the preliminaries of the show in the nicest way possible. At this point she's only starting out in small shows working up to best of breed.))

Jin was late. He shouldn't have taken so long with his grooming. That groomer didn't seem to know what she was doing. He huffed as he ran into the prep room which was pretty well deserted, and found his leafy collar. He shrugged it on as he had many times before. He had to hurry or he was going to miss his turn. His handler was going to be so angry with him, but he couldn't pass the blame to the groomer. The human wouldn't understand him anyway. He sighed and checked himself in the mirror. He smiled back at himself, handsome as always. He was posing in front of the mirror, practicing his winning posture, when he noticed he wasn't alone in the room. Reflected in the mirror was a white striped Wolfhound, much like himself in appearance except for the color. The other dog was quite breath-taking. He turned from the mirror and forgetting that he was already late, he went over to say hi.

Bai was just about to go to sleep when she heard the new comer rush in. She didn't pay any mind to them she was hoping they would get what they needed and leave. She opened her eyes expecting another showy tiny breed, but was met with a surprise. He was handsome Wolfhound, his fur was golden and he looked almost like he could be her duplicate if it wasn't for that lovely golden fur. She raised her head as he was putting on his costume for the show. The green complimented his eyes and colors. She watched as he turned around. She almost thought he was going to breeze past her, but she was pleasantly surprised. He had walked straight to where she was and had stopped. "Hello there handsome. I don't think I've seen you around here before. Whats your style?" She secretly hoped he would get the term. If he didn't then she would just shrug and move on. If he did it would be interesting what he'd ask in turn for her name. She was looking forward to see whether or not he'd be interesting. She was also wondering why he had rushed in here, yet stopped to talk to her.

Jin smiled at her, his grin sort of crooked. "You don't know of the famoose (yes, said as fame- moose) Jin Hu? Where have you been all your life? Why, I am a shampion show dog, pure-blood award-winner extraordinaire. " He lied. He had made up everything except being pure-blood. That was absolutely true. Even the accent was phony, but it was all part of his appeal.
Jin liked to put on a show wherever he went. He was sort of a spoiled drama-king. "Now, tell me beautiful, what is your name? Is eet as lovely as you?"
Just then, Jin heard his name called and not wanting to miss his turn in the show, he gave a bow to the female. "Ah, zat is my cue. I must go on, or the show cannot. Perhaps when I return, we can pick zis conversation back up from here?"

Bai cocked her head to the side. She could tell right away that the accent was fake. She chuckled under her breath at his attempt to impress her with it. She decided to play along with him. "Oh, you know, prancing around the ring. It really is hard to notice all of the names." She felt like rolling her eyes at him. Really now, I wonder if his story is a fake as his accent. She smiled despite herself it had been a while since anyone had remotely tried to do what he was doing.
She nearly outright laughed at him when he asked for her name. She withheld it and answered as elegantly as ever. "I do believe Monsieur, She laid the french accent on heavily to show that she too could fake one. that flattery vill get you novere. I am however Baihu Xuehua." She acutely bowed her head as to curtsey toward him. " Eet vould please me to be addressed as Bai Xue" She just couldn't not smile while her eyes where alight with silent laughter.
She watched as he bowed. "But ov course da'ling, Hurry on then. One mussent keep an audience vaiting. She watched him closely waiting for his next move.

Jin winked at her, enjoying her repartee. "Ah, but you are mistaykahn (spelled weird for pronunciation). Flattery has gotten me effreywhere."
"Bai Xue. What a magnifizent name for such a delicate flower, suchas yourself. It is only befitting of such a beauty." With that, he turned toward the door, but looked back over his shoulder before he went through.
"You will wait for me 'ere?" he asked. "I shall dedicate my win tonight to you, fair maiden."

She was struck with a fit of giggles after the oh, so wonderfully accent slurs. Enough so that she couldn't respond to the comment about flattery. He really is something else, thats for sure.
She smiled as he recognized the true meaning behind her show name. She watched as he turned to the door.
She looked at him sharply. "Certainly, If you drop that ridiculous accent, that is. It is really unbecoming of you. Sir Jin." While it was funny to play along she would rather have him speak truthfully. "I would like to learn the true story as well." She said casually dropping the hint so boldly that she didn't like to be fooled. She truly did roll her eyes at his parting compliment. "I wish you luck then, Sir Jin Hu. She propped her head on her paws in anticipation of his return.

She had laughed at him? That definitely wasn't the reaction he was going for. Neither was her catching on. This female must be very bright, or I'm just that transparent. He voted for the female, as it had worked on others, though his previous attempts at flirting had usually been with the ditzy fan dogs.
"Last call, Jin Hu." came from the ring. He really needed to go now.
"By whatevur...." he started, then cleared his throat. "I mean, (normal voice) of course. I meant no disrespect. However, I must go now. Please. Wait for me?" he pleaded lightly as he turned and dashed through the door, making it out on the floor just in time to see his handler starting to leave.
--- [Enter dog show stuff... Summary: Jin got a third place ribbon for something. Going to keep it pretty vague since I don't know anything about dog shows.] ---
After the awards were given out, Jin stepped down from the podium and followed his handler around the ring and back into the prep room. Once there, his handler removed his accessory and ribbon, and patted him on the head. "Next time old boy. You just keep getting better." Jin nudged the handler's hand with his head, and he ruffed up his fur before turning to leave the room. Jin usually got a few moments to relax while the handler finished things up before they had to leave.
It was then that Jin looked for Bai Xue, starting with where he had left her before the show.

She heard him catch himself and smiled. "I'll be here waiting, so you might want to." She didn't get to finish her sentence, he had already gone. She sighed, she proceeded to block out the world. She didn't move from her spot, her handler still had not shown and her owner had yet to appear. She wondered idly if they had forgotten her to the sounds of the ring. She mused that, that was the cause of her staying in the prep room. She listened hard to the sounds trying to hear what place her new acquaintance would get. She couldn't hear the placings from her spot on the floor, because she had fallen asleep before the end. She lay there peacefully blissfully unaware of her surroundings and that is where the male tiger dog had found her just sleeping away the time.

Jin found Bai Xue asleep right where he'd left her. He took a moment to take in her beauty. He had never seen such a magnificent Irish Wolfhound. Her features much like his own, he worried a little that they might be related, but he would have known her before now had that been the case. He'd grown up with his littermates and none of them had possessed the same rare physical features as he. It was astonishing to find another so much like him, and in such a coincidental setting.
He knew he was staring, and hoped she wouldn't catch him. He quietly lay down in front of her, laying his head on his paws and watched her sleep. Soon his eyes had gotten heavy and he was floating in and out of consciousness.

Bai woke to the face of the Jin hu, she blinked a few time. She looked closer at him, he appeared to be dosing and she would rather not disturb him. He certainly was handsome, however she pondered if somehow they could be related, but thought otherwise. All of her family was white with stripes. So he really he was quite different from her bloodline. In all of the time she has known her family none of them had gold in their fur. There was a gray one however, but she didn't have stripes or her bloodline features, in fact she was adopted in to her owners family and so far she couldn't recall her having pups in any other color than gray or black. She had stared off in to space to think. She couldn't tell how long they'd been in the prep room, but apparently her owner had yet to show.
She looked back at the sleeping male, quietly hoping he would wake up. She was starting to get a tad bored just staring at the surroundings.
