History: Has a family of four kids. Her husband died a few years ago and she's the sole support of her family. She's not sure if she believes in ghosts, but she needs the money to help her kids get through college. At first she thought this whole idea was silly, but one of her friends managed to talk her into it, promising to look after her kids while she was away.
Personality: Keeps a cool head in tough situations and can think quickly and on her feet. She's used to handling a lot of stress and isn't easily freaked out or panicked. Lillian is usually friendly and naturally looks out for people, but when times get rough, she becomes deadly serious.

Skills: A sense of fairness and logic beyond her years. She is also able to see spirits.
History: 21 years old. A middle child with one older sister (Cathy, 32) and a younger brother (Clarence, 19). Her parents abandoned them when she was 14 and they haven't heard from them since. She and her brother were left in the care of her sister. Times were rough, especially since Cathy would rather go out and party. By the time Marina was 19 Cathy had had a baby and disappeared. Now she's the bread winner with a baby and a troubled teen to look after on top of school and work. She has entered the contest in hopes of making things easier for what's left of her family.
Personality: Marina likes to sit back and let others take control because she's got other things on her mind. But if she's not satisfied with the way things are going she's not afraid to take the reigns, and if necessary, by force. She has a motherly air about her so she's often strict but fair and wants nothing but the best for those around her.

Skills: Knows how to use many weapons.
History: He's 23, lives alone in an apartment, has no family whatsoever. He was the younger brother in the family(Which now lives in Europe) and so got more things.. He knows the place is haunted, for there was a case a few months back that he was assigned to, the cases closed. He's well known in the force and has entered the contest hoping to open his own bar.
Personality: He's not much of a talker but can be talkative once he knows you well. He tends to rough it up when he's chasing a criminal, or just when he's upset. Jack can also be quite friendly if you've erned his trust.

history: bethany is a single 26 year old, who has had her own practice for only two years. She became a therapist to help people because her mother went insane when she was just 6. her father left her after wards leaving her and her younger sister claire in the care of their aunt.
personality: a very emotionally shut off person, she can seem alittle standoffish, but all in all she is very compassionate, she just has to be guarded because of her work. when in a large group however she is shy, and is hiding a dark secret somehow connected to the house.

Skills: Although unable to see ghosts, Tamora can feel them. She speaks to ghosts in order to help them resolve their problems and to pass on into the afterlife that awaits them.
History: Tamora has always believed in ghosts because of her ability to sense their presence. She doesn't share this fact with many people because when she has they have scoffed at her. With the chance to win so much money and to test her skills as a semi-exorcist Tamora couldn't pass up this opportunity.
Personality: Tamora can be very wild and crazy, but she also has her serious side. She loves listening to other people and always wants to fix everyone's problems so that they'll be happy.

Skills: Automatic writer, good with her hands and has some medical knowledge
History: Her mom's a nurse and dad owns a small hardware store. She's just graduated highschool and is now attending community college. She'd like to move on to med school, but neither she nor her parents can afford it. She heard about the haunted house contest through a flyer in the library and hopes to win in order to finance her education and pay off her parent's mortgage.
Personality: Tori's quick witted and perky but tends to blurt things out sometimes. She means well and tries to help but tends to get in the way in her efforts to be useful.

History: Alissa is a nurse but the medical profession doesnt pay as much as she would like so when the idea for 1mil comes up she jumps at the chance she knows ghosts are there but...after dealing with the drunks on a saterday night at work she feels she can handle anything....
Personality: she is very calm and collected, nice, always there to help, always try to find a logical reason to everything....

History: Just out of Barton High School, with no clue for the rest of his life. He thinks 100 mil would help him out big time, so he signs up. Little does he know that his fate and the house's are inexplicably intwined.

Skills: Shooting, hand to hand combat
History: A detective that used to be involved with gangs, but he straitened out. He dedicated his life to jailing people after he learned about how wrong he had been while he was in jail. He hopes to straiten out many peoples lives.
Personality: Tactical, and serious. He is a caring man, and believes there is a little good in everyone.

Lillian drove up to the house and stopped in front of it. It looks rather nice, she thought, kind of like a resort. She parked in the front and unpacked her things. She waited for the other contestants as she stood by her car with her bags ready.

As the old VW bus rumbled up the gravel driveway Marina stared out the window at the palace-like estate. They had just passed through a small forest on a well kept dirt road that ended in a massive iron gate attatched to a high stone wall. Her friend, Leesil, had offered to give her a ride since she didn't have a car of her own. She was greatful that he had also offered to watch the two trouble makers.
"Alright, boys, listen up," Marina demanded loudly over the sound of gravel. "Leesil's in charge this weekend, not either of you."
"But I'm old enough to watch the both of us!" whines Clarence.
She retorts, "You're also old enough to drive and get a job, but you don't do either now do you?" Clarence scouled and hunkered down.
As the van stops in front of a 30-40 something woman, Marina turns to Leesil, "Here's $200. This's all I can afford to give you right now, but if things go smoothely I promise to get you more."
"I can't except that..."
"But you will," she states as she turns back to Clarence and Manni. "You two are going to behave."
Marina hugs Leesil and gets out of the van, pulling her ratty backpack and dufflebag out from under her seat. She gives Manni a kiss and Clarence a hug.
"I'll see you guys in 2 weeks!"

Jack slowly approached the house in his Chrystler Police car. The dirt road has gotten it dirty, but no matter. He noticed two more contestants-girls had already arrived. He stopepd the engine and walked out the car, a shotgun in hand. Jack had loaded it with salted rock a few hours earlier(he had heard it could back away spirits) and placed it on his back.
He turned over to one of the girls that was next to her car and asked, "Are we gonna have food inside already?"

bethany drives up the long dirt road to see other people already there and wonders how many are actually going to be in the house. as she approaches, she suddenly gets chills, and a sense of deja vu, but can't quite put her finger on it so she quickly dismisses it. she gets out of her car and tries to study the others, but smiles a warm and sincere smile as she has the feeling that she should just bolt back to the safety of her office.

A blue Honda Civic drives up to the house and parks. "I still can't believe you're doing this," a dark haired girl in her late teens says as she gets out of the driver's side. "And why not?" asks a girl with long blonde hair kept back in a ponytail asks. "Well, it's a waste of two weeks for one thing, you're going to be bored to death, and I'm not going to have anyone to chat with 24/7." The blonde girl laughs. "I'm sure you'll survive dear. Thanks for driving me. You can still pick me up?" asks as she grabs a purple backpack and a brown suitcase from the back seat. "Yeah I can. I'll see you than. It looks like the others have already arrived. Bye." The dark haired girl gets back in the car and drives away as the blonde waves goodbye. She walks other to the contestants. With a smile she introduces herself. "Hi! I'm Tamora Weathers. Are you the other contestants?" She offers her hand to be shaked.
