Whether you are a child or a parent, you can list a few things here!
On father's day, I didn't have much money, I only had a couple of dollars. But I had to get my dad a gift. Since there was a convenience store nearby (that has no gaia gift cards), I walked there and bought my dad a pack of gum. It was a small sentiment on my part because my dad chews a lot of gum, he used to use chewing tobbacco (He was part of the navy once, soldiers couldn't smoke) but he quit. Plus it's one of those new flavored gum things.

My whole family gone out to a Chinese restaurant for father's day (my sister bought him a nice shirt). Quite a few people have fluctuating schedules, so it's hard to find a day during a week to just do so (let a lone a reason to spend so much on a meal). It's been a very long time since we eat-out as a whole family (years).

Well, Friday, I got to talk to my dad before he left to visit a friend for the weekend and wished him a Happy Father's day early. I didn't get my stepdad anything, neither of us in the family did, but I did wish him a happy father's day. Even when we don't have anything physical to give him, to me, wishing him a happy father's day was more of a gift anyway.

Tomorrow I'm gonna give him a $20 so he can buy some dad shirts after work. All he wants is cheap dad shirts.

I missed both Mothers Day and Fathers Day because of work and I've been too broke to get them anything.....
I did make some phone calls and send emails.
I got a ridiculous card and some nice organic chocolate for both of them as a belated Mothers Day and Fathers Day gift.
.....and hopefully I can visit them soon.

My father's day gift will end up late, just like how it was for mother's day, simply because I'm rarely in town to shop. But I did have a big family dinner at my grandparents house, and celebrated with my dad there. His birthday is this month anyway, I'll just combine the two and get him something extra special I guess.

I left him alone, because he likes that.
Then we made fun of mom to bond, and I baked him a lemon drip cake.
Now we're kinda ignoring each other again.

Well let's see first my sister and I went with our dad and his wife and of course our husband's to go and see a play on saturday night. It was super fun. Then I got my dad this... https://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/tools/b881/. I ordered it late so I'm still waiting to get it in the mail. XP
