I heard the film was good, but it has the potential to overwhelm because it juggles it's own story while being a prequel. Doesn't change that I intend to see it.

I haven't actually seen Prometheus or any of the Aliens for that matter. I've watched both AVP's though. Not that that probably means much.
I do need to watch those though. What sort of sci-fi nerd am I if I haven't watched any of the Aliens or Predators?

@Rusty: Yeah, it does a little bit.
@Grim: Aliens are sexy if they are the hentai versions that I've seen Rule 34'd. Instead of ripping Marines apart, they uh...well. They use those mouth tongues of theirs in a very interesting manner. Mother is definitely a face raper. Ask Alnette. Thorn Imperatrix doesn't rape face so much. She prefers to just rape all of you.
@Brian: The original and second Alien movies are pretty awesome. The third one is okay. The fourth is also okay, but many fans despise it.

I've seen the first Alien, and thought it was awesome. It was terrifying. emotion_awesome I'd heard about Prometheus, but I only just now connected that it was the Alien prequel. lol
