A dark swamp forest, gray and dead.... The scent of decay and the sounds of ravens cawing as they took flight. A phantom mist was present, although the air was humid and warm. A few bullfrogs croaked menacing notes from their throats. Tall Cypress trees scattered the land. The only visibly living things was a blue mass, and in amongst the trees, a spy. A red owl, Helena, taking information back to the herd on this vile creature's plans and games.
In a clearing lay a blue figure, a tangle of curls and the sounds of weeping echoes across the swamp. The figure continued to weep, whispering out girlish tones. "Save me, anyone... Please." Alek lay in wait for his next victim in the game he played. A most deadly game indeed. He was the scum of house Von Helson, degrading himself back to the ancestral ways of the Von Helson kin, the Vampiric and savage ways of many generations before.

Suiseiseki walked around the swamp, completely unaware of her surroundings and snorted. What a gross place this was. She wondered how she ended up here. She only shrugged it off and continued down the mucky, sticky road. A mosquito buzzed in her ear as she twitched her ear, shooing it away with heavy annoyance. She picked up her pace wanting to make her way quickly threw her swamp to her destination. She stepped in a mud puddle and closed her eyes trying not to freak out because of the feeling. She snorted louder.
All of a sudden the mare heard a cry for help and her ears shot up. Sure, she was no do gooder, but if someone was in trouble she would surly help. The small soquili made her way threw the widely path of the swamp when she came across a blue mare. Well at least she thought. She lied her ears back and bent her head down. "Are you alright?" She asked in a gentle tone nudging the other fellow mare to get up if she could. Suiseiseki made her way around the fellow beast before she took notice of the face shape. This mare was no mare! This mare was a Stallion!! But he was so pretty...how did this happen..? She shook her head. That wasn't the issue. This issue was getting this stallion back to health.

Alek found himself waiting, contiuing the illusion. He felt his heart pulsating with anticipation. Every single ticked by, slowly.... His surroundings blurred in his excitement. His prey was so close, he could practically taste the plasma that he so craved. He didn't even notice his victim's appearance, blinded by bloodlust.
He wiggled his body subtly to put himself in a better position to attack, and lunged upwards, his fanged mouth open fully to bite the other... He - The sound of branches snapping and wings flapping erupted from the forest canopy, and just as Alek lunged, Helena, the great-horned owl dive bombed. She extended her talons and grabbed hold of his muzzle before he could reach the mare. She screeched triumphantly and looked at the mare. "I can't hold him forever, RUN!" With those worse, she pecked him for good measure and took off, flying through the forest branches, rushing back to the herd to report of Alek's doings. Two victorious hoots rang through the forest as she disappeared into the fog.

The mares blood rushed as she jumped away quickly, looking at the male predator. She Froze like a dear in the headlights before she saw a blood red owl come to her aid. for that, the mare owed the feathered creature big time. Suiseiseki ran. Not a thought on her mind other than getting the hell outta there. She shouldn't have even been in the swamp! She was supposed to be at a specific location to meet a friend of hers. To late now, she was completely screwed out of her mind if she didn't get away from the pretty blue stallion. She continued running till she unfortunately stumbled on a long and right into a giant quick sad pit. All she could do was panic, she was scared to death and needed help..Some one's help...Anyone's help.
She just sat in the quicksand, sinking slowly. Her main goal was to keep her head up. But now that she thought about it. If she was lucky, the stallion that was going to attack her followed her. She was a big girl and could fight if worst came to shove...She just wanted to go home now...

'Let the chase begin...' He shrugged off the damned bird's attack and regained his composure, shaking his mane of curls from side-to-side. He left out a hiss of satisfaction and took off galloping, using his small size as a tool to gain momentum. Adrenaline flushed his veins, and every second of the chase went by in a slow blur. Muscle memory took over. A jump here, a turn there. And suddenly, dread.
He'd lost his prey. He halted, trying to regain his breathe, he looked to both sides of his surroundings and cursed under his breathe about it. As he turned over his shoulder, he heard an echo through the woods. "Now you're mine, pretty..." He trotted several dozen yards before standing at the edge of the pit. He remembered the time he himself almost fell victim to the sand. He climbed upon a fallen trump and stood over his prey.
Analyzing her brown body and thick curls, the corners of his mouth rose and his spoke with a booming voice... "Checkmate, dear."

Startled and scared the brown mares eyes darted from side to side then up at the blue stallion as she huffed and grabbed a vine that was barley in reach as she pulled her self out, the sand making her look dirty and her facial expression was far from amused she walked over to the stallion and got rather close, her heart racing. "Do you have ANY idea how much it cost me to get this custom lace blanket made?!" She snorted looking at his fangs and frowned. "And by check mate I don't hope you think you have won this because this war is far from over...understand what im saying?" She said in a very cold tone as she shook the sand off of her and lied her ears flat back and turned around swishing her tail and hitting him in the face rather hard with her curls.
"And listen princess. If you were hoping for me to be your next meal...you were sadly mistaken...I know I look sweet...and..I am" She said smugly. "But you cant have me. I'm looking for my prince charming." She stuck her nose in the air and looked down at the slightly larger stallion with an angered look in her eyes. How dare some stallion chase her out of her path. Now she had no idea where she was. Actually she was deeper in the woods than she had expected. The least the other soquili before her could at least point her in the right way.
