Recently re-found the opening to Frontier, and now I have a massive nostalgia based craving for a Digimon Frontier RP. So I thought I may as well ask here if anyone else is likewise in the mood for a Frontier based RP.
I've been known to put minimal effort into the initial post set ups for joining, so if anyone else who is interested has a good way of setting things up to make it look pretty and advance past Casual stage, I'd be fine with it. If it falls to me though, I'll probably have to spend a good deal of time setting it up, which will mean it won't start for a while...

I know digimon and love it. I've watched season 1-5 and like them. The next season I've heard X-cross seems a bit too ridiculous though for me...But I'll join you on the frontier. :3

Yeah, from what I heard of the newer stuff, it's a classic case of things becoming more modern. AKA, bad in quite a lot of cases.
But thank you for the interest in a frontier RP. It was my personal favorite season, and I'm glad someone else is interested in roleplaying.

Lol! Np. I agree with you on the new things about the X-Cross season. My problem with it though was how they were crossing waaaaaaaaay too many digimon and made everything just look bad. It's not digimon to me. I got mad when I looked at a few clips and trailers. It sucked to me. the older ones were better. So how do you want to start the RP?

I'd figure the whole thing would start off similar to the show's start, but with a broader range of available character types. I personally was going to go for a college freshman in the role of mentor/older brother to much of the group, but if someone else wants to be the eldest I'd let them. Plus I might allow some leeway on made up Digimon.

And I do admit something here about digimon. I love some of the royal knights and Beelzemon. Lol!

Well again, I did say might. I'm just trying to find a good, wolf-ish 'mon that's not Lobomon. My personal favorites are Agunimon and Beetlemon, but that's mostly because I like Fire and Lightning, so any digimon with power for those is usually a favorite of mine.
And I like your character idea, it can mesh with a lot of other characters.

Thanks! I like a range of Digimon ,but that's the problem with me. I have so many I like that it's going to be hard to choose from. I don't know if there's a dog for that but I know there's Coronamon.

Well Coronamon's a lion though. Garurumon would possibly work, but I'm not certain, since all the spirits are different level compared to the regular digimon.
I'm gonna keep looking anyway, but I'm keeping the possibility of created 'mons under my "maybe" listing.

I would definitely be interested, as long as I can clear up my life a bit, but I need to do that anyways. Would this be a more technical interpretation of Digimon, or would the actual mechanics just serve as a guide?
I'm honestly not very well educated on digimon, I mainly only had the chance to watch most of the season with the orange dinosaur guy... gaomon? who lived in the real world. Would you happen to have some resources you could link?

THIS should have most of what you need to know about Frontier. It'll be an alternate universe RP, with a similar plot to the show, but with obvious differences. I was also hoping this could be slightly more adult in some of the concepts involved, but that's still negotiable. Also, to watch the series, I recommend this link.

Yes, I was thinking along the line of some slightly more adult language and romance, but nothing over Gaia's ToS. PG-13 at the most, so maybe one emotionally charged swear a post when it's appropriate, but no cursing someone out like a sailor on shore leave.
Mostly I jut envision my character in particular doing most of the swearing, but even then it's only the occasional angry "dammit" when the group's in a particularly tight bind.
