History – Kensei was born in the 134th Rukon District he was abandoned by his older brother Aki Momochi when he was just a baby. Growing up in the Rukongai was hard for Kensei he was shunned by everyone. He would always find himself in a fight because he compared others weaknesses to his own stating he had none. After a while Kensei grew tired of living in the Rukon District he knew his only way out was to become a Soul Reaper. He entered the Soul Academy and once he graduated he was recruited into Squad 13 afterwards he was promoted to Squad 3 captain.
